    Default spaghetti sauce?

All the store bought sauce is now bland and watery. Is there a way to make my own spaghetti sauce?

Yep - but you'll need to plant a LOT of tomatoes!

i hesitate to give you my recipe because i do not measure, and it would be difficult to translate that.

if you want me to try, i will, but it really is a "season to taste" type deal

No. Only experts can make spaghetti sauce. You would have to go back to school and start over.

I buy some store bought, because when it's on sale, heck, .88 for a big can is real cheap. I make my own and can it, too, but won't pass up the loss leader sales in the grocery store.

When I open a can of grocery store sauce, I dump in dehydrated onions, garlic, basil, oregano, fennel, olive oil, pepper (either red or black according to taste) and sometimes some powdered Parmesan. Heat it up and add cooked, seasoned meat or sausage if you want. It's really pretty easy to flavor it up.

Just doctor up what ever brand sauce you use. Onions, peppers, meat, garlic puree or sauce.
