Quick calculation -- the portion of the US population that lives in states which permit same sex marriage is now 44%.
And the remaining states should, per the Constitution, accept marriages made in other states.

There are some problems with this though, from a freedom standpoint.
Catholic orphanages have been closed down because they wouldn't allow homosexual couples to adopt their children.
It's one of those "freedom for me but not for you" things that liberals fail at so often. The homosexuals want freedom to marry? Sure. Awesome. You can all be recognized by the state and any insurance companies or employers who wish to do so.
But you can't force someone else to recognize your marriage. That's where your freedom ends.
Pennsylvania did not legalize "gay marriage." On person who is called a judge did that.
I wonder if most people, even some Christians (so called?) believe that homosexual sex is a sin?
I think that they do not consider it one.
So in their minds, they are giving rights to a moral/ethical behavior that has been oppressed, like freedom was given to slaves.
Christians (you know, us gun totin' bible thumpers) are just being judgemental when we consider homosexual sex a sin. In fact, it seems that any behavior that someone deems is sinful/immoral/wrong these days immediately earns you the label of "judgemental".
Oh, I shouldn't sleep around with guys I meet at bars every weekend? You're just judging me.
Oh, come on, it's just a bottle of wine (that I just slipped under my coat). You're just judging me.
Etc.
My two cents worth of rant.
It is sobering to reflect that one of the best ways to get yourself a reputation as a dangerous citizen these days is to go about repeating the very phrases which our founding fathers used in the struggle for independence. - Charles A. Beard
