    Handbags... and especially shoulder bags... are a bothersome pain to carry.
    When I'm out and about, what little I need fits in my shirt or coat pocket.

    Interesting you would mention that. When I began looking for a substitute for carrying a purse, in my closet I already had one perfect sleeveless denim shirt with two breast button pockets that I could wear under a coat in winter or over a tank top in summer. But I wanted more than one so I went on line to see if I could buy something similar, but no luck. Months later while decluttering another closet, I found two nearly identical denim button pocket shirts that I forgot I had bought years ago. God works in mysterious ways !

    Good idea! Also garage sales.

    Last summer at Kohl's, I noticed a newer version of their brand denim capris no longer had side pockets [cheaper to make.]

    But there was still one left from their older inventory [that had side pockets] in my size, so I bought it.
