    It really is time to un-sticky this thread. The number of new Ebola cases is close to zero. The affected countries have learned how to manage the disease. The causes of the disease are now pretty well known. Vaccines are close to being ready, and soon will be available at least for the protection of health care workers.

    All three monkeys receiving the treatment were healthy when the trial ended after 28 days; three untreated monkeys died within nine days.

    Let me add my "Thank You" as well, Godwit. I come to this thread every day to get the latest news about Ebola. Not much of anything about it anywhere else.
