From the video, and not knowing anything else, it's a good shoot. Letting someone get within 20ish feet of you with a knife is extremely dangerous.

The reason there is a lot of knife violence in the U.K. is because guns have been outlawed for the citizenry. Don't think I want us to go down that path, although many in the police force and most politicians would like nothing better than to disarm us Also, if I remember correctly, the cops in the U.K. aren't allowed to carry a gun. Just a billy club. They also have a lot of Arabs in the U.K. and their weapon of choice is the knife.

I am to the point of saying that police should no longer carry firearms. Security guards all over this nation don't and they don't seem to be in grave danger.

I guessing you can take care or yourself Matt. I won't argue the point as I don't know you. Security guards are observers and call 911 (the folks with the guns) as their 1st order of business.

I challenge you to research what would happen in this country if you disarmed the local cops for a month, let alone a few days.

Once again, I'm guessing you can take care of yourself. But what about your daughter that is going to college near or far? Who is going to intervene when she is getting raped in the college dorm or parking lot by someone with a gun or knife? The security guard? Just asking.
