That might have been true 10 or more years ago. But in case you haven't realized it yet, large numbers of the liberals from the Northeast are migrating to Texas and other Southern states and, what once was Red-Neck, gun toting patriots in the South are being rapidly displace with the Progressive/Socialist/Marxists pus-bags from the Northeast - and more every day. That's what family and friends who live and moved there have been telling me.

Unarmed cannon fodder. Those well armed Patriots in Texas may be on a path to being out-voted, but not out-gunned. These ISIS fools better do their homework on the history of Texas and it's People before starting any kind of campaign there.

Powder, Sadly I'd have to agree with Microcarl on this one. I've lived in Tx since 1998 and the change in the attitudes even in the last 7 years is incredibly bad. I've read several times that there's a huge push to turn texas "blue" and I believe it.

While the odd "limp wrist" attitude USED to be confined to the liberal Austin area-that's not the case anymore. EVERY city of ANY size has been zombiefied. In part, I'd moved to texas thinking it would be a "last bastion". Not so much :(
