Ebay? Local stores? Do you see anyone else buying this sort of stuff?
Europe used to have empires. They were run by emperors.
Then we had kingdoms. They were run by kings.
    Now we have countries...

    Done did that in 2002.

I'm already being told that huge, HUGE orders have been placed by the government ... most private citizens will now not be able to find or get their supplies without LONG delays. And, the prices are skyrocketing out of control already.

but FWIW, back when i was working this is where we got all our suits, masks, goggles, respirators etc.

may be a more viable option than retail outlets for such things..

Yup. I bought Tychem suits, goggles, respirators with with extra filters, extra duct tape, gloves, chemical sprayer, and disinfectant.

Now for the record, I am not planning on using these to combat Ebola. If things start spreading, I live in the backwoods of Idaho and will just hibernate and hunker down. However, if the very slim, tiny, minuscule chance that some pandemic comes around -and- someone in my family catches it, I want to be able to take care of my husband and children as safely as possible. If nothing happens, I'll use these items when I'm in the woodshop, crawling around under the house, etc.

Dupont X-Large Yellow Tychem QC Chemical Protection Coveralls (these are listing as real expensive now. Check other sizes for a better price or wait until the price comes down.)

I got all that years ago. Walmart, harbor freight tools, Home Depot...

Good luck getting any of that now. I think Sam's Club still has duct tape...
Careful...the older I get, the less "life sentence" is a deterrent.

Still had cases of gloves, respirators, tyvex suits from H1N1 & Sars days, added some TyChem suits, N100 filters and got more EpiCor.

BTW, check out EpiCor at my thread here...

    Yes.
Laytex gloves and related supplies too = like bleach.
    "Augmenting" the current supply.
I placed an order on Amazon for a box of N95 masks which arrived heavily damaged, so I called the supplier in Atlanta. He said before Ebola he'd sell maybe 11 boxes (30 count) in a month and now he's tripled that amount within an hour. Non stop. He said he's never seen anything like it.
Picking up Tyvek suits and various other supplies from local places. Getting scarce.
Of note is the largest community of Liberians in the U.S. is here in RI = it's possible they're shipping everything they can get their hands on back home.

And yes, I know if it's already airborne none of this stuff's going to be worth a darn but better to have a thing than need it.
