    Skilled techs and parts are needed to maintain the robots. Both will be in short supply when the economy implodes.

    Just think of this era as the "8-track tape" era of the digital age. There will be less and less work for more and more people, driving down wages for whoever remains in the process. It's happening now. This is as inevitable as it is inexorable. One day we will look back at that picture of that cute little robot doing that stupid and pointless job and wonder over how naive we were in the same way we look now at our Fifth Dimension 8-Tracks.

    I don't see it happening in our lifetime. The US economy is going to implode within the next two years and WWIII will suck up all the techs. Sorry, no more robots, outside of military applications.
