Really Godwit, you put this out. When are you going to understand this crap does not cut the mustard. I can think it cuts something rather foul, but no truth to be found here. Like for starters, Kimmel felt the need? Sure he did.....
Kimmel has a followup where he reads tweets from those who, shall we say, disagreed with his pro-vaccine stance -- http://theweek.com/…/jimmy-kimmel-reads-mean-tweets-about-p…

Ohio State to require proof of vaccinations for incoming students

Starting in August, incoming Ohio State University students won’t be allowed to schedule classes without evidence they’ve had shots to protect against a list of vaccine-preventable illnesses.

The new vaccine requirement comes almost a year after a mumps outbreak on and around campus sickened almost 500 people. A subsequent measles outbreak north of central Ohio amplified discussions about boosting immunization rates throughout the state, including at universities and colleges.

Quebec measles outbreak grows to 119 confirmed cases including student

The protocol involves identifying all the unvaccinated people at the school and offering them the vaccine.

Fifty-one staff and 114 students were identified Tuesday as not being fully vaccinated and health authorities began contacting them.

All staff and students will have their vaccination records checked, information will be offered to parents and vaccinations will be offered Thursday.

Anyone who refuses to be vaccinated will be required to stay home for two weeks.

No ****: Disneyland Measles Outbreak Linked to Anti-Vaxxers

A study, as reported by Live Science, found that the MMR (measles, mumps and rubella) vaccination rate for those exposed to the Disneyland outbreak was between 50 and 86 percent. The nation MMR vaccination rate is 92 percent and a rate of 96 to 99 percent is needed to prevent an outbreak.

The author of the study, Maimuna Majumder of Boston Children's Hospital, links the Disneyland outbreak to the rise of the anti-vaccine movement.

"The 2015 Disneyland outbreak is quite possibly a direct consequence of the growing anti-vaccination movement in the United States," she said.

This new analysis affirms, with better mathematical precision, that the major sources of new measles cases are U.S. children who have not been vaccinated, said Dr. William Schaffner, a professor of infectious diseases at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee, who was not involved in the research.

New study confirms the Disneyland measles outbreak was fueled by parents who refused vaccination

The rapid spread of measles cases in the US after an infected person visited in Disneyland in December was largely fueled by parents who refused to properly vaccinate their children, a new study published this week has found.

Although the person who started the outbreak has not yet been identified, officials suspect it began with an infected person from abroad who visited the Disneyland theme park in southern California in mid- to late December. Since then, there have been 145 confirmed measles cases in seven states and three countries linked to the Disneyland outbreak

"This preliminary analysis indicates that substandard vaccination compliance is likely to blame for the 2015 measles outbreak," the authors wrote in a research letter published this week in the JAMA Pediatrics journal

    Canada, not just California --

Anti-vaxx mom abandons movement — after all seven her of her kids get whooping cough

Writing on The ScentificParent blog, a chagrined Canadian mom announced that she is leaving the anti-vaxx movement after all of her seven children — four of them completely unvaccinated — have come down with whooping cough.

Writing from quarantine, and surrounded by sick kids, Tara Hills wrote she is “emotionally, a bit raw. Mentally a bit taxed. Physically I’m fine,” before admitting that not only are her own kids sick, but they may have exposed her five-month-old niece who is too young to be fully vaccinated. ***

“My youngest three children were coughing so hard they would gag or vomit. I’d never seen anything like this before,” she wrote. ” Watching our youngest struggle with this choking cough, bringing up clear, stringy mucus – I had heard of this before somewhere. My mom said I had it when I was a kid. I snapped into ‘something is WRONG’ mode.”
