Dissimulo explained a few days ago why measles vaccines are not given to babies --
    http://www.thetreeofliberty.com/vb/s...32#post2450532

Humoral immunity provided by the mother interferes to varying degrees with immunizations. MMR is one that fails to produce long-lasting immunity in the first six months of life because the maternal antibodies are effective against it. I would guess that it is pushed out to a year to ensure that even the higher concentrations of antibodies formed by mothers who were naturally infected are cleared.
So, back to the earlier question, one reason to vaccinate people is to protect babies under 12 months of age from measles.

S**t. #measles hits Chicago daycare; several babies sick.

CHICAGO, Feb 5 (Reuters) - Five babies at a suburban Chicago daycare center have been diagnosed with measles, adding to a growing outbreak of the disease across the United States, Illinois health officials said on Thursday.

Officials are investigating the cluster of measles cases at KinderCare Learning Center in suburban Palatine, said a joint statement from the Illinois and Cook County health departments. All the children are under 1 year old and therefore would not have been subject to routine measles vaccination, which begins at 12 months.

Measles cluster at Chicago daycare prompts health department investigation
    http://trib.al/xm8sqKL

Diagnoses of measles for five children in a Chicago-area daycare prompted an investigation by the Illinois department of public health on Thursday, although the source of the infection remained unknown.

All five children were younger than 12 months old and attended the Palatine KinderCare Learning Center in Palatine, Illinois. Two unvaccinated children tested positive for measles and results were pending for the other three, who were diagnosed based on clinical criteria, Cook County officials told reporters.

Dr Terry Mason, chief medical officer for Cook County, said there were “at least 15 children” causing concern after being “potentially exposed” to the infected infants. Mason said the county’s investigation confirmed that two cases were linked to the daycare’s common room, at which point officials contacted staff there.

“We do expect that there will be more cases associated with this daycare,” said Dr Kiran Joshi, a senior medical officer for Cook County.

KinderCare spokesperson Colleen Moran said in a statement that the daycare was “excluding unvaccinated children and staff” from the center until 24 February, as instructed by health officials.

This is an interesting opinion piece however I have come to believe that we are all on the Titanic and only a few hours from Icebergville.
The world is on the cusp of an economic breakdown. America is a socialist islamic state and the Western world is near being overwhelmed by Islam.
Personally, because I refuse to bow to Obamacare, I will be forced to pay a "Fee" that increases yearly until I am bankrupted.
Under Islam there is a name for this: Jizya, a TAX for being a dimini, a kaffir, Illegal but it is a price I must pay.

Thanks to our MSN president America is about to go to war with a truly dangerous National Socialist, Putin who has declared himself the savior of the west, just as Hitler did, but a Hitler armed with nukes, and far more pragmatic than Hitler ever was.
Arguing about a book store or San Francisco, vaccinations and the like, while an excellent way to pass the time is not an excellent way to prepare for the incipient impact with an iceberg.
America is now in a proxy war with Putin which will expand and justify ever more oppressive domestic abuse of power. Obama's pre-planed ethnic civil wars inside the US will lead to the destruction of American Culture.
Individual Survival as well as that of nation is now becoming a priority as Obama's true intents come to fruition.
I believe that is what we should be discussing

    Default Chicago

CHICAGO (CBS) – Cook County and Illinois public health officials have begun investigating a cluster of measles cases linked to a daycare center in Palatine.

In a joint statement, the Illinois Department of Public Health and the Cook County Department of Public Health said the cluster includes five infants who have ties to KinderCare Learning Center, located at 929 E. Palatine Rd. in Palatine.

All five children are under age one, including four from the suburbs, and one from Chicago. Lab tests have confirmed measles cases in two of the children; the other three have been diagnosed with measles, but doctors were waiting for lab tests to confirm the diagnoses.

“Individuals who are under the age of one or with certain clinical conditions cannot be vaccinated and are therefore at highest risk for measles. Residents are strongly encouraged to get vaccinated to protect themselves and the most vulnerable members of the community,” officials said.

Students, staff, and faculty at the daycare center have been notified, and anyone who hasn’t received a measles vaccination has been told to stay at home, and away from unvaccinated people for the next 21 days.

measles Four measles cases confirmed in Toronto, no known link or source case
Experts say that when the vaccination rate of a population is 92% or lower for a disease like measles, outbreaks are more likely to spread.

The debate spurred by a measles outbreak linked to Disneyland over whether to vaccinate children for infectious diseases has overshadowed another vulnerable population: grown-ups.

The age of the baby with measles is worth noting: infants typically don't get the MMR immunizations until they're a year old.

I don't immunize. You can keep the mercury, monkey DNA, and all the other junk in vaccines. Not for me.
