Utah man charged with rape after allegedly impregnating 13-year-old girl

SALT LAKE CITY — A man has been charged with two counts of rape of a child after an investigation that began when a teenage girl was admitted to a hospital and discovered to be pregnant last year.

According to charging documents filed Wednesday, 52-year-old William Piol Makuei allegedly raped a young girl on several occasions, which resulted in a pregnancy.

The teen victim was admitted to University of Utah Hospital in June of 2016, where she was found to be 29 weeks pregnant. The girl was 14 when admitted to the hospital but 13 when she became pregnant.

Investigators began interviewing the victim and her family, and the girl told police she had sex several times in 2015 with a man named William. She said the man was from Sudan and lived in the same refugee community as the teen and her family.

The victim said on one occasion the man gave her something to drink, and she fell asleep. When she awoke she was nude and was bleeding from her “front part”, according to charging documents.

The teen said on another occasion the man picked her up in his vehicle as she walked home from a market and threatened her, saying “something bad would happen” to her family if she did not do as he said. He then took her to another home and had sex with her.

Police identified Makuei as a suspect based on the victim’s description, and earlier this month they obtained a DNA sample from the man by collecting a discarded cigarette butt. That sample was taken to a lab, which confirmed Makuei was a match to be the father of the victim’s child, the charging documents state.

Prosecutors have requested that the man be held without bail, stating he poses a “substantial flight risk and a risk of danger to the community.” He has been charged with two counts of rape of a child, which are first-degree felonies.

“Nice legs”: Video shows Texas Muslim father making creepy remarks to daughters he murdered in honor killing

Longtime Jihad Watch readers are familiar with the horrifying case of Amina and Sarah Said, whom their father Yaser Said murdered in an honor killing in Texas on New Year’s Day in 2008.
“Trotter added that Amina and Sarah had nowhere to turn in Texas. No one understood that a teenager saying ‘My Dad is going to kill me’ is a serious cry for help, not adolescent drama.”
No one understood it because no one knows much of anything about honor killing. If they have heard of it at all, they think of it as something that is a weird cultural practice done by people in far-off countries. If authorities in Texas had been aware of how many Muslim countries tolerate it, and how it is justified in Islamic law, they might have taken the Said girls’ claims more seriously.
Muslims commit 91 percent of honor killings worldwide. A manual of Islamic law certified as a reliable guide to Sunni orthodoxy by Al-Azhar, the most respected authority in Sunni Islam, says that “retaliation is obligatory against anyone who kills a human being purely intentionally and without right.” However, “not subject to retaliation” is “a father or mother (or their fathers or mothers) for killing their offspring, or offspring’s offspring.” (‘Umdat al-Salik o1.1-2). In other words, someone who kills his child incurs no legal penalty under Islamic law. In this case the victim was the murderer’s daughter, a victim to the culture of violence and intimidation that such laws help create.
The Palestinian Authority gives pardons or suspended sentences for honor murders. Iraqi women have asked for tougher sentences for Islamic honor murderers, who get off lightly now. Syria in 2009 scrapped a law limiting the length of sentences for honor killings, but “the new law says a man can still benefit from extenuating circumstances in crimes of passion or honour ‘provided he serves a prison term of no less than two years in the case of killing.’” And in 2003 the Jordanian Parliament voted down on Islamic grounds a provision designed to stiffen penalties for honor killings. Al-Jazeera reported that “Islamists and conservatives said the laws violated religious traditions and would destroy families and values.”
Until the encouragement Islamic law gives to honor killing is acknowledged and confronted, more women will suffer.

Newly released home movies show the creepy relationship Yaser Abdel Said had with his two daughters he is accused of murdering in a motel parking lot.
Home video shows Said lurking in the bedrooms of daughters Sarah, 17, and Amina, 18, making leering comments at his children.
In a clip, the father says: ‘Nice legs. Mmm very nice.’ He tells this to his teenage daughters as he pans over their legs with the camera as they lie in bed.
‘Sarah sleeps with her pants? Mmm, very nice. Wow, look at those eyes. I got my eye on you,’ Said says. The girls seem harassed by their father and yell at him to get out of their room.
In another disturbing part of the Crime Watch Daily footage, Amina is seen playing with a gun.
Said is accused of shooting Sarah and Amina Said 11 times in a taxi on New Year’s Day in 2008. Some of his relatives speculate these may have been ‘honor killings.’
Said fled from Irving, Texas after his daughters were murdered and made an appearance on the FBI’s most wanted list in 2014.
The girls accused their father of sexual abuse in 1998 when they were eight and nine years old according to Dallas Morning News.
They later took back the accusation saying they lied so they could live with their grandmother and not in rural Texas. But their mother swore in an affidavit that they were telling the truth.
Family members say the Egyptian-born father was obsessive about his daughters’ virginity and believed western society was corrupting the girls.
He allegedly threatened to kill them when he found out they had boyfriends at their high school.
The teens’ mother Patricia Owens rejects the notion that the girls were murdered to protect their chastity.
Under the guise of taking to get the girls something to eat, Said allegedly took them in a taxi and shot them dead to defend their honor.
Sarah Said’s called 911 while inside the cab. Her final words were ‘Oh my God, I’m dying’. Then the emergency operator heard a barrage of gunshots.
The Saids’ case was featured in the documentary The Price of Honor.
The film tells how the American teenagers were unable to slip free of their Egyptian father’s suffocating control, ultimately victims of what filmmakers say is a trend of honor killings that goes unrecognized in the US.
In the documentary Ruth Trotter says: ‘Amina always knew that Yaser was going to murder her, it was just a question of when and where.’
Amina was dating Trotter’s son, Joseph, when she died, and Sarah also had a boyfriend, though both had tried to keep this from their father.
‘She made Joseph promise that he would not harm himself, that when she dies he would live,’ Trotter added.
The documentary reveals that when Amina was 15 Yaser took his daughters to Egypt to find husbands.
Trotter said he picked one man who was almost 50 for Amina to marry but she begged and pleaded with her mother to come back home.
Trotter added that Amina and Sarah had nowhere to turn in Texas. No one understood that a teenager saying ‘My Dad is going to kill me’ is a serious cry for help, not adolescent drama….

The Republican U.S. Representative, Dan Donovan, who represents Staten Island and the Bay Ridge area of Brooklyn is under fire for supporting President Donald Trump’s executive order banning Syrian refugees and travelers from seven Muslim-majority countries. Most of the protesters weren’t even Muslims, they were Leftists.

Protesters disrupted a Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce forum featuring most of Brooklyn’s congressional delegation Monday, repeatedly shouting down Republican Congressman Dan Donovan for his support of Trump’s executive order. Donovan told the audience, “Our enemy ISIS has told us that they are going to compromise the Syrian refugee program,” and judging by the terror attacks all over Europe, they have.


In late 2015, Donovan voted to pause the Obama administration’s plan to resettle 10,000 Syrian refugees in the U.S. “This vote is about keeping our city and country safe from radical Islamic terror, a threat New Yorkers know all too well,” he said at the time. Donovan, who sits on the Homeland Security Committee, has defended Trump’s move, saying it was in the nation’s best security interest.


Protesters, many constituents of Donovan’s from Bay Ridge and Staten Island, rose to their feet, holding up signs with anti-ban slogans like “Ban Dan” and “Bay Ridge Will Remember 2018.” An apparently sympathetic audience clapped, as a police officer informed the protesters that they would have to sit down or be escorted out.

One protester, marching out of the auditorium, turned back to the crowd and shouted, “Black lives matter! My son has a disability. Protect the ACA! MUSLIM LIVES MATTER!”

Cindy Trinh, 33, held up a large sign saying, “Daughter of Vietnamese Refugees Against The Ban,” and screaming, “No Muslim Ban, Ban Dan Ban Dan!” Trinh pointed to the significant Arab and Muslim population in Bay Ridge and blasted Donovan for what she said was a failure to represent his own constituents.

“They live in Bay Ridge and he supports the banning of them. How can they support their own congressman? How can they live in Bay Ridge feeling safe that their congressman doesn’t even have their back.”


The crowd was largely friendly to the four Democratic representatives, all of whom spoke against the ban. Outside the event, a small group of protesters held up their signs and chanted anti-Trump slogans.

The protests were apparently organized independently by a number of local groups, including Staten Island for Change and Bay Ridge For Social Justice.


Abdullah Younus, 26, a protester from Bay Ridge, echoed the theme that Donovan had left the residents of Bay Ridge out to dry. He said he was pretty satisfied with the protest. “We continue to disrupt the atmosphere, draw attention our cause,” he said. “There’s been a lot of cheering, not just from people here with the protest, but also people that simply came to attend.”

Did you hear about the Muslim immigrant who cut off the heads of two Christians in New Jersey?

Didn’t think so. The story didn’t make it past the local New York/New Jersey media, which is Donald Trump’s point about all the Muslim terrorist attacks that don’t get national media attention.


Hudson County View (h/t CreepingSharia) Yusuf Ibrahim (above), 31, an Egyptian Muslim immigrant from Jersey City, was sentenced by Hudson County Superior Court Judge Mitzy Galis-Menendez to two consecutive life terms in state prison.

The Jersey City Muslim received two consecutive life sentences for shooting two men to death, cutting off their heads and hands and burying them in a wooded area in Atlantic County, state Attorney General Christopher Porrino said. Ibrahim murdered Hany Tawadros, 25, and Amgad Konds, 27, (below) in the early morning hours of February 5, 2013. Tawadros and Konds were Egyptian Christian nationals who were living in Jersey City.

He was sentenced to an additional 48 years, to be served concurrently, on charges including desecration of human remains, theft, unlawful possession of a weapon, and hindering apprehension, officials said. The sentence also includes 127.5 years of parole ineligibility.

Ibrahim was found guilty on June 22 by a Hudson County jury of two counts of first-degree murder, two counts of second-degree desecration of human remains, and other crimes related to the murders and mutilation of the bodies. (Looks like he brought a Muslim tradition with him when he left Egypt)

Ibrahim shot each man once in the chest with a .38-caliber handgun inside Konds’ white Mercedes C280 before driving the bodies of the deceased victims to Buena Vista in the Mercedes. There he disposed of their remains in a wooded area behind the unoccupied home of a relative, after stealing the victims’ money and jewelry.

Before burying the victims, in order to hinder their identification, he cut off their heads and hands using a small drywall saw and scissors, and knocked out their teeth with a tire iron.

Arizona: Muslim gets 30 years for role in jihad terror attack on Garland Muhammad cartoon contest

Abdul Malik Abdul Kareem wanted revenge against people who drew Muhammad. He wanted to kill people who drew Muhammad. In the face of that, free people have two choices: they can draw Muhammad, thereby showing that they will not submit to violent intimidation, or they can refrain from drawing Muhammad, thereby showing that they can be bullied into submission.
I am proud that I was at Garland and was, with Pamela Geller, one of the organizers and sponsors of the event. I will never submit to bullying, and as the late Charb of Charlie Hebdo said, I would rather die standing up than live on my knees.

“ISIS supporter sentenced to prison in Muhammad cartoon contest attack,” FoxNews.com, February 8, 2017:

An American-born Muslim convert convicted of supporting the Islamic State terror group and helping to plot a 2015 attack on a Prophet Muhammad cartoon contest in Texas was sentenced Wednesday to 30 years behind bars.
Abdul Malik Abdul Kareem told the judge in Phoenix he “had nothing to do” with the attack. However, authorities said Kareem provided the cash that his two friends – Elton Simpson and Nadir Soofi – used to open fire outside the anti-Islam event in Garland.
Simpson and Soofi were killed in a police shootout outside the contest and a security guard was wounded. No one else was hurt.
Prosecutors sought a life sentence for Kareem, who became the second person in the U.S. to be convicted of charges of supporting ISIS. He was convicted of conspiring to support a foreign terrorist organization, interstate transportation of firearms and other charges.
During the investigation, police found that Kareem has hosted two ISIS followers in his home to discuss the attack. It’s still unknown whether the Texas attack was inspired by ISIS or carried out in response to an order from the group.
Prosecutors have said Kareem watched videos depicting violence by jihadists with the two friends, encouraged them to launch violent attack to support the terrorist group and researched travel to the Middle East to join Islamic State fighters.
Authorities also said Kareem inquired about explosives to blow up the Arizona stadium where the 2015 Super Bowl was held, but later set his sights on the cartoon contest after the stadium plan fell through.
The verdicts against Kareem nearly a year ago marked the second conviction of someone within the United States on charges of supporting the Islamic State. He was convicted of conspiring to support a foreign terrorist organization, interstate transportation of firearms and other charges.
Kareem denies involvement in the plan to attack the contest, testifying that he didn’t know his friends were going to attack the contest and didn’t find out about the shooting until after Simpson and Soofi were killed….

On January 30th, United States Representatives Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Ted Deutch held a press conference along with radical Muslims, at the Fort Lauderdale Airport, to speak out against President Donald Trump’s travel ban on seven nations compromised by terrorism, claiming the ban was targeting Muslims. It was done just weeks after another press conference was held at the airport – to announce the ISIS-inspired attack perpetrated by gunman Esteban Santiago. The irony and unseemliness of the two Congressmen’s event cannot be ignored.
Demonstrators, onlookers and media surrounded a podium bearing the Seal of the United States Congress, as a press conference calling for an end to the Trump travel ban was held, on a beautiful Monday afternoon, outside at the Fort Lauderdale Airport. For Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Ted Deutch to speak at that podium is understandable; they are US Representatives. However, for Khurrum Wahid, an individual associated with radical Muslim groups, to speak at such a podium, as he did, is entirely inappropriate and offensive.
Wahid is a South Florida attorney who has built his name on representing high profile terrorists, including operatives from al-Qaeda. One of his clients, Miami imam Hafiz Khan, shipped $50 thousand to the Pakistani Taliban specifically to murder American troops overseas. According to the Miami New Times, Wahid himself was placed on a federal terrorist watch list in 2011. Wahid is the founder and co-chairman of Emerge USA, a Muslim organization that, despite its pleasant sounding name, sponsors political forums at radical mosques. These mosques include:
1. Tampa’s al-Qassam, which was founded by Palestinian Islamic Jihad leader Sami al-Arian; 2. Pembroke Pines’ Darul Uloom, which has served a number of al-Qaeda recruits and which is headed by anti-gay imam Shafayat Mohamed; and 3. the Islamic Center of Boca Raton, which was co-founded by Hamas web designer Syed Khawer Ahmad and al-Arian associate Bassem Alhalabi, whose founding imam Ibrahim Dremali was placed on the federal ‘no fly’ list, and which built its current mosque using seed money from the al-Qaeda charity Global Relief Foundation.
Emerge has also held events at the Islamic Foundation of South Florida (IFSF). IFSF’s Youth Director, Abdur Rahman al-Ghani, has a Facebook page littered with anti-American, anti-Jewish and Islamic supremacist language and images. In December 2012, he wrote, “Zionist/Israelis… are demonic and the most evil on earth.” In March 2012, he posted a graphic stating, “ISLAM WILL DOMINATE THE WORLD.” And in February 2012, he posted a bloodied CIA logo with the caption, “Wiping out the CIA.” Khurrum Wahid is the Registered Agent for IFSF’s corporation.
Representative Wasserman Schultz has not always been comfortable with the group Emerge USA. In March 2012, following a scathing article this author and his colleague wrote about Wasserman Schultz’ upcoming keynote address at Emerge’s 2012 annual fundraising banquet, the Congresswoman felt it necessary to cancel her speech and pull out of the event. In fact, another US Congressman, Alcee Hastings, canceled his participation in the banquet, as well.
Prior to creating Emerge, Wahid served as a legal advisor for the national office of the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and a director of CAIR’s Florida chapter.



CAIR was created in June 1994 as part of a terrorist umbrella organization led by then-global head of Hamas, Mousa Abu Marzook. In 2007 and 2008, CAIR was named a co-conspirator by the US Justice Department for two federal trials dealing with the financing of millions of dollars to Hamas. In November 2014, along with ISIS and al-Qaeda, the UAE government named CAIR to its list of terrorist organizations. A number of CAIR officials have been placed in prison and/or have been deported from the US for terror-related activity.
CAIR’s Florida chapter does little to distinguish itself from its DC-based parent. In July 2014, CAIR-Florida co-sponsored a pro-Hamas rally in Downtown Miami, where rally goers shouted, “We are Hamas” and “Let’s go Hamas.” Following the rally, the event organizer, Sofian Zakkout, wrote, “Thank God, every day we conquer the American Jews like our conquests over the Jews of Israel!” In August 2014, CAIR-Florida Executive Director Hassan Shibly, who has denied that Hezbollah is a terrorist group, wrote, “Israel and its supporters are enemies of God...”
Another Emerge/CAIR operative who participated in the Wasserman Schultz/Deutch/Wahid press conference was Ghazala Salam. Salam has held the positions of Emerge Florida Executive Director and CAIR-Florida Community and Government Relations Director. She has also been involved with Islamic Relief, a group that has been linked to al-Qaeda and Hamas financing and has been banned by Israel. At the press conference, Salam is depicted in different photographs shoulder-to-shoulder with Wasserman Schultz.
For Wasserman Schultz and Deutch to agitate against President Trump’s policies and falsely claim they target Muslims is suspect in itself. But to do so at an airport where five people were massacred in an ISIS-inspired attack just weeks before is an obscene travesty. And allowing Khurrum Wahid, a documented terrorist sympathizer, who himself was reported to be on a federal terrorist watch list, to speak from a podium bearing the Congressional Seal provided Wahid with authentication he had no rights to and was beyond the pale.
Wasserman Schultz and Deutch are career politicians and crass opportunists. Their love fest with radical Muslims is endangering their constituents and national security. Both politicians should be called to account for misusing their positions and enabling the sinister agendas and stealth jihad being waged by Islamists such as Khurrum Wahid and Ghazala Salam.

Oh, NOES! Muslim student claims to have seen men peeing on an Islamic prayer rug at University of Michigan

A third year student at the University of Michigan has filed a report with university police after she said a group of men were urinating on a prayer rug in a room set aside for Muslim prayer.


WXYZ (h/t Rob E) Genan Harissa said she was studying with another Muslim student Sunday night who saw a disgusting act in the ‘reflection’ room of the undergraduate library.

“He saw somebody urinating on one of the prayer rugs that we pray on everyday,” Harissa said. The alleged incident involved three men. The incident has been listed as malicious destruction of property with a bias motivation, she said. It remains under investigation.

Prayer rugs typically are used by Muslims. The University of Michigan Islamic Society of Ahl-ul-Bayt and the Muslim Students’ Association both issued statements of their Facebook pages following the incident, warning potential users of the room.

ISA has received reports that someone went into the reflection room in the basement of the UGLi and urinated on one of the Muslim prayer rugs. The school and the campus police have both been notified and they put tape around the room so no one enters until it has been cleaned. However, we’d like to point out that the way they clean may not ensure tahara, so please be advised and avoid praying there. If you have to then try using your own prayer rug and pray in the back corner. —ISA Team

The allegations follow the discovery of racist and anti-Semitic e-mails that were falsely attributed to an engineering professor and one of his students. (But only Muslims seem to rate TV news coverage of it)
