He did not hesitate to criticize the religion again and again as the crowd applauded him for his courage to practice his right to freedom of speech and to criticize Islam.
Freedom of speech is a basic basic right in a civilized democratic state.
There is an attempt in the West to criminalize "political correctness" and punish anyone who dares to say what is on his mind.
Freedom of speech, freedom of the press and freedom of thought are under attack by those who claim to defend "human rights".

Liberals and leftists in the West use the made up term "Islamophobia" to portray anyone who criticizes Islam as a racist.
Terrorists all over the world carry out terror attacks "in the name of Allah".
They justify their violence by quoting verses from the Quran.
Islamophobia is a made up word created specifically to silence debate.
Liberals and leftists ignore the fact that it is an ideology that has nothing to do with race.

Islamophobia is a neologism created to silence any possible debate about the problems Islamic extremism has got with modernity, with the intention of using the collective post-colonial "guilt" to exempt a particular set of beliefs from scrutiny, analysis and criticism. It's a buzzword used in an attempt to silence anyone, whenever had legit questions or criticisms about the religion.
It is not a race. It's a religion.
There is an attempt in the West to impose a sharia-blasphemy law to criminalize criticism of Islam.

It started when Saudi Arabia and Muslim countries tried to pass a UN resolution to force Western states to criminalize criticism of Islam.
The Parliament in Canada passed "Motion-103" to condemn the so-called "Islamophobia (Fear of Islam)" in a preparation for a blasphemy law in Canada.

In this final part we will delve into more examples of Cole’s Fantasy Islam, and then end by addressing the issue of stoning adulterers to death and providing proof that can be used to show that such stoning is an established part of Islamic Doctrine.
Muhammad spread Islam peacefully with no compulsion
On p. 3 Cole wrote that during Muhammad’s lifetime “Islam spread peacefully in the major cities of Western Arabia.” On p. 170 he wrote that the Koran does not allow the forced conversion of non-Muslims.
We’ll start out with Cole’s comment about the Koran prohibiting forced conversions. On p. 216 he mentioned Koran 2:256, and stated that this verse prohibited all compulsion in religion. Other than this verse, which is commonly used to make an argument like Cole’s, he relied on his own re-interpretation of Koran verses and dismissal of much of Islamic history during Muhammad’s lifetime to support his argument.
However, in 2016 I wrote a book refuting the claim of no compulsion in Islam: Islam’s Militant Prophet: Muhammad and Forced Conversions to Islam.[1] In this book I showed that 2:256 was only valid from the time period of August 625 to December 627, after which it was repeatedly abrogated.[2] I took a chronological approach to show that Muhammad had conquered the Arabian Peninsula largely at the point of the sword; the vast majority of non-Muslims were given the option of converting to Islam or fighting to the death.
With regard to Cole’s general claim that Muhammad spread Islam peacefully, here is what two authoritative Muslim scholars wrote:
Ibn Kathir: Allah’s Messenger remained in Makkah for thirteen years. During that time, the revelation continued being sent to him…When the evidence was established against those who defied the Messenger, Allah decreed the Hijrah. Then He ordered the believers to fight the disbelievers using swords, using them to strike the necks and foreheads of those who opposed, rejected and denied the Qur’an.[3]
Muhammad ibn ‘Abdul Wahhab at-Tamimi: He [Muhammad] continued for more than ten years warning them by preaching, without fighting and without imposing the Jizyah and Allah commanded him to be forbearing and to patiently persevere. Then He [Allah] allowed him to migrate (Hijrah) to Al-Madinah and He permitted him to fight. Then He commanded him to fight those who fought against him. Then He commanded him to fight the polytheists until all and every kind of worship is for Allah (Alone).[4]
In February 632, just a few months before he died, Cole’s “Prophet of Peace” said:
Indeed I was commanded to fight people until they say there is but one God, and when they say it, their blood and their property is protected and they are answerable to God.[5]

Macy's decision to sell hijabs sparks debate among Muslim women

(CNN)American department store Macy's sparked a fierce debate on Thursday, when it launched a line of "modest clothing" that featured hijabs.

The Verona Collection was founded by fashion photographer Lisa Vogl, after she converted to Islam in 2011, and struggled to find modest, fashionable clothing. The brand stands for "women's empowerment and taking pride in one's Muslim identity," according to its website.
Macy's decision to stock Vogl's line came after US retailer Nike released a "Pro Hijab" for Muslim athletes, and fashion brand American Eagle's limited-edition denim hijab, which sold out.
While the department store's efforts to be inclusive were applauded by some online, others criticized it for legitimizing the hijab -- a religious headscarf that has been politicized in some parts of the world in recent years and closely tied to women's rights issues.
Over the past few months in Iran, for example, some women have removed their headscarves in public to protest the country's compulsory hijab law. At least 29 people were arrested in the capital, Tehran, for their involvement in the protests.
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a US-based Muslim civil liberties and advocacy organization, said Macy's had "come under attack online by Islamophobes who routinely attack any manifestation of Islam in American society." CNN reached out to Vogl and Macy's, but they had no comment.

New York-based Iranian activist and journalist Masih Alinejad launched a social media campaign, #MyStealthyFreedom in 2014, inviting women to post pictures of themselves without a hijab.
CNN invited Alinejad to debate this contentious topic with Palestinian-American civil rights activist and Women's March co-chair Linda Sarsour, who is based in New York and chooses to wear the hijab.
