9 2017 STOCKHOLM SYNDROME 2.0: The new and improved version following another Muslim terrorist attack in Stockholm Instead of staging massive protests against a government that has flooded their country with Muslim freeloaders, rapists, and jihadists who want to kill them, the people of Sweden come out to build a “heartbreaking wall of flowers and candles” in response to the latest Islamic terrorist attack in Stockholm. At the same time, politicians and the media fall all over themselves trying to convince people that Islamic terror has nothing to do with Islam. Stockholm Syndrome dates from 1973 when hostages in a bank robbery in Sweden fell prey to a psychopathology which caused them to bond with and side with their attackers. Kinda like what Sweden, “the most generous little country on Earth!” has been doing in response to its government’s wholesale importation of an alien culture, one antithetical to Sweden’s historic tolerance. One which scoffs at and tramples on respect for women, protection of children, and civil order. Now that more civilians have been murdered in the latest truck jihad attack, we have a laboratory in which we’ll be able to see how Stockholm Syndrome plays out if the situation continues to its logical, inevitable conclusion: Justification of the murderer’s actions. As in all cases of abuse, protestations that the victims somehow deserved and invited the violence. John Guandolo, a former FBI counter-terrorism specialist turned private consultant to law enforcement, said “100 percent of these attacks are being conducted by people who identify themselves as Muslims waging jihad in the cause of Allah in order to establish an Islamic State (caliphate) under sharia (Islamic law).” Since the Islamic references the jihadis use constitute doctrinal Islam, it can only be deduced by any rational mind that Islam is the problem, he said. As European leaders regurgitate the lie that these attacks have ‘nothing to do with Islam’ and side with the enemies of liberty, European nations will get more death and bloodshed. “Stockholm Syndrome” occurs when ‘hostages’ form an emotional or psychological bond with their captors. But there’s a new kind of Stockholm syndrome that occurs when victims of terror defend the ideology that promotes terrorist attacks.

(CNN) – A man arrested on suspicion of terrorism offenses after the Stockholm truck attack is from the central Asian republic of Uzbekistan and was known to intelligence services, Swedish authorities said.
Suspicions about the arrested man have strengthened during the course of the investigation, Dan Eliasson, chief of the Swedish Police told reporters Saturday.
“We confirm that we have found a device in the truck that doesn’t belong there. We are now investigating its content,” Eliasson said.
Prosecutor Hans Ihrman said the arrested man was a 39-year-old from Uzbekistan.
The attack Friday in the heart of Sweden’s capital killed four people and injured about 15 more. Ten of the injured — nine adults and one child — are still being treated in three different hospitals in the city, the Stockholm County Council said Saturday. Four of the adults have serious injuries.
Earlier, Sweden’s public broadcaster SVT reported that a bag of undetonated explosives had been found inside the truck, which was stolen minutes before the attack as it made a delivery at a restaurant. The attacker apparently suffered burns caused by the explosives, which did not detonate properly, SVT said.
The man was detained north of Stockholm in the early hours of Friday (Thursday evening ET.)
The individual has featured in previous intelligence reports from last year, Anders Thornberg, chief of the Security Service said. However, the security services were not able to confirm that intelligence, so he was not on their radar, he said.
Their focus is now to prevent further attacks and investigate if there were other accomplices, Thornberg said.
The prosecutor has until noon Tuesday to ask the courts to detain the suspect, said Karin Rosander, spokeswoman for Sweden’s prosecutor’s office.
The attack happened just before 3 p.m. local time. Eyewitnesses reported seeing the beer truck speeding along Drottninggatan before it crashed into the front of a department store. The company that owned it said it had been hijacked as it made a delivery nearby.
According to eyewitness Veronica Durango, the driver “put his foot on the gas and ran through the crowd.”
“He came from Olof Palmes Street and drove down to Drottninggatan,” Durango told CNN in a phone interview.
“It was like he was driving through paper. It’s like it was nothing. I can’t even believe how a person could do such a thing. And then he just kept on going. I was in shock.”
Parliament and the Stockholm subway were placed in lockdown in the aftermath of the attack. All train services in and out of Stockholm Central Station were halted and people were evacuated, the state railway company said.
Officials told reporters that border controls had also been set up to monitor the identity of those leaving Sweden.

Swedish authorities said the 39-year-old man suspected of driving a truck into a crowd in downtown Stockholm had been wanted by police for failing to comply with a deportation order.
The Uzbek national, who was detained late Friday, had sought residency in Sweden in 2014, a request the state denied in June last year, police said on Sunday. In late February, police issued a warrant in his name for failing to report for his deportation.
“He had gone missing,” said Jonas Hysing, national strategic commander for the Swedish police. “He was not present at the address that he had provided.”
On Sunday, prosecutors said police had detained a second man who is being investigated over possible involvement in the attack, for which no group has claimed responsibility.

Swedish City To Offer Returning ISIS Fighters Housing And Financial Support To Help Them “Reintegrated”…

A programme to rehabilitate former Isis fighters and other extremists with housing, employment, education and financial support is being trialled in Sweden.
Local authorities in the city of Lund say the controversial measures aim to reintegrate returned jihadis into society and prevent them reverting to their former networks.
Anna Sjöstrand, the municipal coordinator against violent extremism, acknowledged the proposals were controversial but argued that the same approach should be taken to Isis defectors as to those leaving organised crime and neo-Nazi groups.
“When this subject came up we thought: ‘Oh god, how should we handle this’,” she told national broadcaster Sveriges Radio.
“Pretty quickly we realized that we should deal with this in the same way.
“If you have committed a criminal act should take responsibility for it, but there are many aspects – one could for example look at it in terms of cost.
“It is much cheaper to reintegrate a person into society than to abandon them, for example.”
Christoffer Carlsson, a criminologist, said he supported the plans after conducting a report on extremist defectors for the Swedish government.

Two asylum seekers who are on trial for raping a Swedish girl and streaming the ordeal live on Facebook will not face deportation back to their home countries.

The asylum seekers directly involved in the rape, aged 18 and 21, will not face deportation after the prosecution withdrew their previous claim. “The prosecutor has taken a wise decision. It is against the Aliens Act, which I pointed out here before,” said lawyer Stefan Wallin who is defending one of the men accused of the rape, 24 Uppsala reports.








Mr. Wallin, who represents the 21-year-old Afghan national, said he and his 18-year-old co-defendant arrived in Sweden when they were under the age of 15.
The third defendant in the case, a 25-year-old Iranian immigrant with Swedish citizenship, is also being tried as he is accused of filming the incident and not reporting it to the police. He also faces a charge of defamation as he broadcast the rape on Facebook. However, due to him holding Swedish citizenship, he cannot be deported.


Tuesday marked the end of the trial which began several weeks ago in March. Unlike several other cases, this has seen a speedy trial as the incident only took place in January of this year.
Prosecutor Pontus Melander said he was confident he would achieve a guilty verdict. “We have an incredibly good evidence in the form of film material, but it is always up to the district court,” he said.
Melander said the likely punishment for the two involved in the attack would be three years in prison, while the 25-year-old who filmed it could receive a one-year sentence. The prosecution argued the sentence for slander should be at least one year due to the fact the video was spread widely on social media and the victim would have to live with it for the rest of her life.


The defence has claimed the act was consensual and the Afghan’s lawyer said he had evidence the woman participated in the incident on her own accord.
Two weeks ago, just after the trial began, police in Uppsala reported there had been another similar rape incident that was filmed and posted to social media. The sex attack was broadcast on the social media app Snapchat and so far one man has been arrested and his mobile phone confiscated, though police suspect at least two more men having been involved.
