Cover-up in Halifax: Parents confirm reports media retracted — Muslim migrants did brutalize their children

April 16, 201610:03 am By Robert Spencer 13 Comments
The initial report is here: at Chebucto Heights Elementary School, Muslim migrant children were choking non-Muslim children with chains. One screamed, “Muslims rule the world.” But then the Chronicle Herald, the paper that initially ran the story, edited it to remove all reference to Muslims, and finally took it down altogether, replacing it with an explanation that expatiated on what hard times migrants have, but didn’t really deny any of their original story. So it was fairly clear that the story was being deep-sixed because it was inconvenient for the multicultural agenda, and this Rebel report confirms that.
This is not an isolated incident, either. A senior RCMP officer has informed me that there are Muslim migrant men masquerading as children at other Canadian schools, unnerving the students who are of school age, particularly the girls. We have seen this among Muslim migrants in Europe as well: men who are obviously 25 or so saying they’re 14 and being placed in youth centers. I was told that at Fredericton High School in New Brunswick, one of the “Syrian boys” admitted to friendly classmates that he was actually 22. Other Muslim migrant students at Fredericton are in their late teens, past high school age. The RCMP officer said that they were were aware of this phenomenon, but could do nothing about it, since these young men had identification papers saying they were 14 or 15. At Fredericton, one Muslim migrant student has a full bushy Salafi-style beard (complete with shaved top lip, as Muhammad directed): those who have seen him say he looks closer to 25 than to 15.
Please call Fredericton High and politely and courteously ask them for comment about reports that they have adults masquerading as children enrolled there. The number is (506) 453-5435.

“COVER UP: Parents, student CONFIRM refugee children choke, slap Canadian kids,” The Rebel, April 15, 2016:
Are Canadian children being abused in school by refugee students? We spoke to the parents of children who say they are.
Last week an article by the Chronicle Herald detailed multiple instances of Syrian refugees assaulting Canadian children. The article featured comments by a woman nicknamed “Missy” who explained how her daughter had been choked with a chain and her son had been visibly threatened on the soccer field.
The story was pulled soon after it was posted with members of the left-wing media decrying the story as “racist,” “Islamophobic,” “xenophobic” or simply just not true.
In place of the story, an apologetic message was left in its place saying the story needed more research and was “insensitive” to the refugees.
The Herald also didn’t like how its story found its way onto “right-wing” websites that are critical of mass Muslim migration.
And in a letter on the Halifax regional school board’s website, Superintendent Elwin LeRoux called the complaints by parents in the paper “unsubstantiated accusations” and insisted they were “not true.”
However, the Herald did admit that other parents had come forward with stories of their children being attacked.
In the aftermath of this story and the Herald’s self-censorship, no one in the Media Party bothered to do any research.
    The Rebel, however, did.
Multiple parents and even one student spoke to Rebel reporter Faith Goldy who confirmed initial reports in the Herald’s story.
We sat down with Missy, a mother quoted in the original story. She says she feared backlash, and being branded a bigot. Which, she says, is far from the truth because it wasn’t long ago Missy was looking forward to the arrival of her children’s new classmates:
“I did a clothing drive when they first came. I did a basic needs and clothing drive. I’m all for the transition. I just can’t let this keep happening. Something has to be done about it.”
Missy revealed she went to the paper in public plea for more resources for refugees at the school:
“They need help in the school. They need communicators. Interpreters. Teachers. And more than one, Monday to Friday. They can’t have an interpreter up there two days a week. There’s kids that speak Arabic five days a week.”
Missy said that she had run out options at the school after learning her daughter was allegedly choked twice in one week by two different refugee students, but not with a chain as the Herald had reported:
“They said in the paper she was choked with chains two different times. That wasn’t what was said. She was choked twice, but once with a necklace. She was choked with their hands. Like it was just a bunch of little stories that kept adding up and I was like this is enough. Like, once or twice it happens, maybe its just rough play. But it’s happening a lot. And it hasn’t just been this week. There has been numerous things that have happened. Not just with my kids.”
Missy also confirmed her son’s reports of threatening hand gestures from across the soccer field.
“They stopped intramurals in school due to rough play. The kids are being slammed to the ground, choked, and hit. It’s not fair,” she said.
And what about the claim that refugees had shouted “Muslims rule the world” while choking Missy’s daughter? Missy replied:
“The kids said that somebody had yelled, one of the kids had yelled ‘Muslims rule the world’… They said it was one of the Syrian boys. Those kids do know how to speak some English. But they’re very limited to words… all the kids said [refugee boys] have said that more than once.”
When asked about whether or not school authorities were handling the situation, she says the school’s hands are tied:
“We went up on Friday to talk to the principal about the choking with the necklace, she said that her hands are tied. She said that she’s been fighting with her supervisor to get interpreters up there because she couldn’t contact those kids’ parents. And was here Friday. It’s been a whole week that that wasn’t addressed.”
“Yesterday my daughter was slapped in the face again by the exact same boy. Again. We got called up to the school and they had an interpreter in there yesterday and she said, the interpreter said, the little boy just wants to fit in.”
Days after being choked for a second time, Missy’s daughter was allegedly slapped across the face by a refugee student. When Missy reported the incidents to the principal, she ran into another child with a welt on her face after she, too, was smacked. Missy told The Rebel that addressing bullying of any sort is a problem school-wide; but now, there seems to be a double standard at play.
“If our students, our kids did that to these students it’d be a hate crime. It’d be something bad. And now that we’re addressing the problem cause it’s our kids involved, we’re still the bad guy. There’s no win to it. And everyone’s scared to come forward and say something because of what happened with that article.”
Another parent who didn’t want her name used, spoke to us and revealed that her daughter had also been slapped in the face by a Syrian refugee:
“She was slapped in the face by one of the refugee boys in the yard.. had a crush on him, didn’t like it, he slapped her in the face and left a red mark.”
But when the mother’s daughter told the school they simply told her to not approach the refugee students.
“[The school] told her not to go near them, walk away, that’s their solution for everything.”
We reached out to Halifax Regional School Board spokesperson, Doug Hadley, so see if these allegations were being investigated. He said:
“We have to stand up and stop allowing people target a specific group or suggest groups of people behave in a certain way based on who they are and where they’re from. We have to be tolerant of all people and respect their differences. Students have to follow the rules, but we have no indication that any of the allegations in that original article actually happened.”
He then said that no student or parent had come forward, which was a direct contradiction to what the parents we had spoken to told us.
“When we look at the specific allegations … we ask the school what do you know about this… they tell us not only did they not see anyone doing those things, no parent, no student ever came forward to tell an adult that this was a problem or it would have been dealt with immediately.”
“Some of the parents at the centre of this article, the school was speaking to just last week and will continue to speak with them,” Hadey admitted despite the fact he just claimed no student or parent had come forward about the refugee problem.
    So, which was it?
We asked one mom if she thought there is a cover up at Chebucto Heights right now. She answered:
“Yes, I do. They gotta look good is what it is. Nobody wants to believe children are being bullied and nobody’s doing anything about it but it’s the truth.”
It’s inconceivable that young children in this country are being bullied by newcomers and nothing is being done about it.
That’s exactly why not a single major media organization sent even one employee to Chebucto Heights to actually talk to the parents there… many of these media organizations, by the way, have offices right there… IN HALIFAX…
Our job as journalists is to tell the story.
But they didn’t believe the story could be true.
So they just didn’t bother to find out.

UK: Huge fireball at Manchester Airport as jihad terror suspect is seized

April 16, 20166:15 pm By Robert Spencer 35 Comments
The UK is rapidly becoming a war zone. And the jihad there is still just in its beginning stages. Note that this Express article, true to mainstream media practice, does not identify the ideology of the perpetrators. How the UK, and the West in general, expects to win a war while not daring to name the enemy is anyone’s guess.

“Huge fireball at Manchester Airport as terror suspect is seized,” by Suz Elvey, Express, April 16, 2016 (thanks to Pamela Geller):
A CAR exploded into flames at a UK airport today just minutes before a man was arrested on suspicion of terrorism offences.
The drama unfolded as it was revealed police discovered a “suspicious substance” when they arrested five people while targeting a terror cell with alleged links to the deadly attacks in Paris and Brussels.
The car, believed to be a taxi or a chauffeur-driven vehicle, was outside Manchester Airport’s terminal three building this morning when smoke began to billow from under the bonnet.
Moments later the vehicle dramatically burst into flames.
A shocked witness said: “The driver stopped his car and there was smoke coming out of the bonnet and then it went up in flames.”
Miraculously it is not believed anyone was hurt in the fireball and flights in and out of the airport were not affected.
Just moments later, at the same airport, a teenager was arrested on suspicion of Syria-related terrorism offences.
The 18-year-old man from Birmingham was held by counter-terrorism officers after returning to the UK, West Midlands Police confirmed.
It is not thought the fireball was related to the terror arrest.
A force spokesman said: “Today’s arrest follows the arrest of a man and a woman on Monday, April 4. The pair, a 24-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman, both from Birmingham, are currently on police bail.
“There was no risk to any passengers at Manchester Airport or to the wider public in relation to these arrests.”…
Of course not. There never is.

UK: Christian loses appeal of suspension for giving Muslim a religious book

April 16, 20162:18 pm By Robert Spencer 30 Comments
If the shoe had been on the other foot, and a Muslim had been perceived as proselytizing and trying to convert a Christian to Islam, would the Muslim have been suspended, and lose her appeal? Of course not. Not in today’s appeasement-besotted dhimmi Britain.

“Christian NHS worker suspended for ‘harassing’ a Muslim colleague by giving her a religious book loses appeal against decision to discipline her,” by Euan McLelland, MailOnline, April 7, 2016 (thanks to Robert):
A Christian NHS worker suspended for giving a religious book to a Muslim colleague has lost her appeal against the ruling – with a judge concluding that the decision to discipline her was lawful.
Victoria Wasteney, 39, was found guilty by her NHS employer in 2014 of ‘harassing and bullying’ a work friend for giving her a book about a Muslim woman’s encounter with Christianity, praying with her and asking her to church.
She was suspended for nine months and given a written warning – even though the woman had been happy to discuss faith with her and never gave evidence about her allegations to the NHS.
Ms Wasteney, a senior occupational therapist, challenged the decision by East London NHS Foundation Trust at an employment tribunal last year, but it ruled that her employer had not discriminated against her.
A judge gave her the chance to appeal against that decision, saying it should consider whether the original ruling had correctly applied the European Convention on Human Rights’ strong protection of freedom of religion and expression.
But at a hearing in central London today, Her Honour Judge Eady QC dismissed the appeal.
Following the decision, Miss Wasteney, from Epping, Essex, said: ‘What the court clearly failed to do was to say how, in today’s politically correct world, any Christian can even enter into a conversation with a fellow employee on the subject of religion and not, potentially, later end up in an employment tribunal.
‘If someone sends you friendly text messages, how is one to know that they are offended? I had no idea that I was upsetting her.’
Miss Wasteney, a born-again Christian, was working at the St John Howard Centre in Homerton, east London, when she became friendly with a junior colleague Enya Nawaz.
The two women had discussed Islam and Christianity, as well as the work done by her church at the Christian Revival Church in the O2 Arena in Greenwich against human trafficking.
When Miss Nawaz was upset about health problems, Miss Wasteney said she offered to pray for her – putting her hand on her knee and asking God for ‘peace and healing’.
She also invited her to church events and gave her colleague a book, I Dared To Call Him Father, about a Muslim woman who converts to Christianity, but denied she was trying to make Miss Nawaz convert.
Miss Nawaz went onto make a formal complaint, and the East London NHS Foundation Trust suspended Ms Wasteney on full pay from her £50,000-a-year job for nine months while they investigated in June 2013….

British Airways Airbus Carrying 137 People is Struck by a Drone as Pilot Prepares to Land at Heathrow
A passenger jet was hit by a drone above London yesterday, sparking major concerns over air safety.
The front of a British Airways jet, carrying 132 passengers and five crew, was struck in what is believed to be the first time a drone has hit a commercial plane in British airspace.
The Airbus A320 from Geneva was minutes away from landing at Heathrow when it was hit. The aircraft landed safely.
Metropolitan Police detectives are investigating the strike, which follows a string of near misses in recent months.
Pilots warn that drones — which are too small to appear on air traffic control radar screens — could destroy an airliner’s engine or smash a cockpit windscreen…

UK: Two 14-Year-Olds Are Charged With Murders of Dinner Lady and Her Daughter, 13, Who Were Found ‘Stabbed to Death’ In Their Own Home
The two people arrested after the alleged murder of a dinner lady and her 13-year-old daughter are only 14 years old.
The victims, named by police as 49-year-old Elizabeth Edwards and her 13-year-old daughter Katie, were found at the property in Dawson Avenue, Spalding, on Friday afternoon.
Police have yet to confirm the gender of the two youths, who will appear at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
The pair were found at their home in Spalding at 12.15pm on Friday and it is believed they were stabbed but police will not confirm the cause of death until a post mortem has taken place.
Floral tributes were today laid outside the house, where police stood next to the smashed ground floor window yesterday.
Sources claim that the mother, known as Liz, lived in the house with daughter Katie and another teenage daughter, Kim. She is believed to have worked at St Paul’s County Primary School, just down the road from their home.
Miss Edwards’ partner, Graham Green, posted a heartwarming picture of them together with a message paying tribute to her on his Facebook page…

This is the heartbreaking moment a 13-year-old boy had his new bicycle snatched from him by two hooded thugs.
CCTV footage shows the teenage victim struggling with the older youths before they wrench the bike from his hands and cycle down the street in Cheetham Hill, Manchester.

The schoolboy, who is identified only as Colin, tries to give chase but the thieves get away.
It was the first time the teenager had ridden the £1,000 bike, which was given to him by his parents as a bar mitzvah present.
