Islamic Extremists Trying To Recruit Migrants In Germany

If they aren’t already terrorists coming in, they’ll try to make them that way, once they’re there.
    Via The Telegraph:
Islamic extremists in Germany are trying to recruit Syrian refugees to their cause, the country’s domestic security service has said.
The warning came as one of Germany’s best known Islamist preachers published a list of suggestions for his followers on how best to approach refugees.
Pierre Vogel, a former boxer and convert to Islam who has been described as “Germany’s most influential Salafist preacher”, a puritan branch of Sunni Islam, called on his followers to seek out new recruits at government refugee shelters.
The preacher told his followers to take gifts and donations with them, and to volunteer to help staff with the influx. If the offer was refused, they should seek out newly arrived refugees at nearby mosques where they would go to pray, he said.
Mr Vogel has publicly denounced violence and terrorism as contrary to Islam, and denies any links to jihadist groups such as Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (Isil).

French Minister: “Germany Took Our Jews And Gave Us Arabs”

The PC police will get him now…
    Via Yahoo:
A former French minister stirred up controversy Friday after saying Germany “took our Jews and gave us Arabs” as France began taking some of the thousands of refugees arriving in Germany.
Patrick Devedjian, a right-winger who served in the governments of presidents Jacques Chirac and Nicolas Sarkozy, made the remark at a press conference, but quickly tried to backtrack on social media.
“My humorous jest was misplaced,” Devedjian wrote on his Twitter account, saying he regretted it all the more because he himself helps refugees in need.
Devedjian, who comes from an Armenian family and now leads the Hauts-de-Seine region of wealthy suburbs west of Paris, said the joke was meant to be about Syrian and Iraqi refugees.

NATIONAL LEVELS OF ALERT - THREATS TO EUROPE
    From JOHN CLEESE

The English are feeling the pinch in relation to recent events in Syria and have therefore raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved." Soon, though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross." The English have not been "A Bit Cross" since the blitz in 1940 when tea supplies nearly ran out.

Terrorists have been re-categorized from "Tiresome" to "A Bloody Nuisance." The last time the British issued a "Bloody Nuisance" warning level was in 1588, when threatened by the Spanish Armada.

The Scots have raised their threat level from "Pissed Off" to "Let's get the Bastards." They don't have any other levels. This is the reason they have been used on the front line of the British army for the last 300 years.

The French government announced yesterday that it has raised its terror alert level from "Run" to "Hide." The only two higher levels in France are "Collaborate" and "Surrender." The rise was precipitated by a recent fire that destroyed France 's white flag factory, effectively paralysing the country's military capability.

Italy has increased the alert level from "Shout Loudly and Excitedly" to "Elaborate Military Posturing." Two more levels remain: "Ineffective Combat Operations" and "Change Sides."

The Germans have increased their alert state from "Disdainful Arrogance" to "Dress in Uniform and Sing Marching Songs." They also have two higher levels: "Invade a Neighbour" and "Lose."

Belgians, on the other hand, are all on holiday as usual; the only threat they are worried about is NATO pulling out of Brussels .

The Spanish are all excited to see their new submarines ready to deploy. These beautifully designed subs have glass bottoms so the new Spanish navy can get a really good look at the old Spanish navy.

Australia , meanwhile, has raised its security level from "No worries" to "She'll be right, Mate." Two more escalation levels remain: "Crikey! I think we'll need to cancel the barbie this weekend!" and "The barbie is cancelled." So far no situation has ever warranted use of the last final escalation level.

    Regards,
    John Cleese,

And as a final thought - Greece is collapsing, the Iranians are getting aggressive, and Rome is in disarray. Welcome back to 430 BC.

Europe's Refugee Crisis: Violence, Demands, and Muslim Conquest

    By Carol Brown

As Muslims swarm into Europe, the long-term implications are clear as violence erupts and demands are made.
For example, the tiny Greek island of Lesbos, situated 6 miles from the Turkish shore, has a population of 85,000. But life for Greeks who live there has changed in hideously threatening ways, as they have been overwhelmed with 25,000 Muslim invaders. With no end in sight. The invaders arrive on inflatable boats, which they slash once they reach the shore. Breitbart reports on German news coverage (RTL):
…they are being held on the Island while the police issue emigration documents, a delay which can take days. The wait is causing tension between groups as Afghans accuse Syrians of getting preferential treatment by the authorities, leading to vicious violent clashes.
As rocks, bottles and municipal bins fly, one tearful local woman told RTL “We are in danger, every day, every minute. We need someone to protect us. They come into our houses. I want to go to work, but I can’t. Our children want to go to school, but they can’t. They have stolen our lives!” (snip)
The main town of Lesbos, Mytilene, now resembles a war zone as the migrants rip apart the infrastructure and use the town as a urinal. Mayor Galinos helpless in the face of such an onslaught is out of ideas, and is calling on the European Union to do something.
“This is a ticking time bomb that will go off soon,” he said. “We have managed to avert some catastrophes, but we need help, more ferries. This island is so small, we can’t solve a worldwide humanitarian crisis by ourselves. The European Union needs to act.” (snip)
Junior interior minister Yiannis Mouzalas told local radio “the situation is on the verge of explosion.” It is a scene being replicated on islands all along Greece’s coastline.
Video of the explosive scene described in the excerpt above can be found, here. It is emblematic of Europe’s Muslim problem – a problem growing exponentially with each passing hour.
The report noting tensions between Afghans and Syrians reveals one among many truths that is frequently overlooked, which is that the Muslim invaders are not just Syrians. As can be seen on this map from a UN Refugee Report, only half are from Syria. The rest come from nine other Middle Eastern or North African countries, including 14% from Afghanistan.
If you think the map looks like part of an ISIS battle plan, you would be correct. This is exactly what ISIS promised earlier this year: to flood Europe with 500,000 African Muslims, sent by boat across the Mediterranean Sea. What is now unfolding is at a level far and beyond ISIS’s wildest dreams. Hijrah in action.
Meanwhile, despite media coverage that plasters images of women and children embarking on this centuries-old invasion, it is worthy to note that, per the United Nations, 72% of these “Mediterranean sea arrivals” are single men. (“Mediterranean sea arrivals” being innocuous terminology for Islamic conquest.)
Breitbart also reports: “They are young. They are fit. They clearly know what they want….Yes, there are families…Plenty with young children. But if you stand and take a rough count it is hard not to come to the conclusion that young men are in the overwhelming majority….”
Without a doubt, young Muslim males often pose a special kind of threat. However Muslim women present a risk, as well, because traveling with them and their children is a totalitarian ideology that is incompatible with Western values. And that is the problem.
When many in the West look at photographs of Muslims arriving en masse to the southern shores of Europe they fail to see the hatred that lies in the hearts of many of these imports from Islamic nations – hatred, I might add, for us, our values, and our way of life. Hatred we have seen played out here and across Europe, from creeping Sharia to overt acts of terror and everything in between.
And so, not unexpectedly, this mash up of Muslims from the Middle East and North Africa are causing an outbreak of violence across Europe, along with a hefty dose of entitlement as these conquerors make demands.
    We’ve seen this before.
It’s how Muslims assert supremacy, even when they are the minority population. And even, apparently, within hours of their arrival in their new host country. Daniel Greenfield writes for Front Page Magazine:
The Syrian refugee crisis that the media bleats about is not a crisis. And the Syrian refugees it champions are often neither Syrians nor refugees. Fake Syrian passports are cheaper than an EU politician’s virtue and easier to come by. Just about anyone who speaks enough Arabic to pass the scrutiny of a European bureaucrat can come with his two wives in tow and take a turn on the carousel of their welfare state.
Or on our welfare state which pays Christian and Jewish groups to bring the Muslim terrorists of tomorrow to our towns and cities. And their gratitude will be as short-lived as our budgets.
The head of a UNHCR camp called Syrian refugees "The most difficult refugees I've ever seen. In Bulgaria, they complained that there were no jobs. In Sweden, they took off their clothes to protest that it was too cold.
In Italy, Muslim African “refugees” rejected pasta and demanded food from their own countries. But the cruel Europeans who “mistreat” migrants set up a kitchen in Calais with imported spices cooked by a Michelin chef determined to give them the stir-fried rabbit and lamb meatballs they’re used to. There are also mobile phone charging stations so the destitute refugees can check on their Facebook accounts.
It had to be done because the refugees in Italy were throwing rocks at police while demanding free wifi.
This is the tawdry sense of entitlement of the Syrian Muslim refugee that the media champions.
Hussein said: "We have the feeling that the aid workers are heartless." (He) lives in a trailer that cost $3,000. The air-conditioner runs with electricity he is tapping from the Italian hospital. The water for his tea is from canisters provided by UNICEF. He hasn't worked, paid or thanked anyone for any of it.
And why would he? He’s entitled to it by virtue of his superiority as a Muslim and our inferiority as infidels. There is no sense of gratitude. Only constant demands as if the people who drove out their own Christians and Jews have some moral claim on the charity of the Christians and Jews of the West.
Yes, indeed. Demands on those whom they drove from their own countries. Some might call it nerve. But it’s more codified than that. It is Islamic supremacy as written in the Quran.
And yet the West just can’t seem to get enough of it.
    Go figure.
The United States, like Europe, has wrapped itself in a cloak of denial and complicity with respect to Muslim immigration. Apparently most people would prefer to find their life and the soul of their country fade to black than face the truth and defend what is rightfully theirs, yours, ours.
There is not a single GOP candidate speaking the truth on this. Not one. (And of course no one on the left is as they, along with Muslim Brotherhood front groups, are lobbying to bring more refugees here.)
We’ve got Republican candidates talking about courage and truth; leadership and challenging the status quo. We’ve got two candidates talking about making America great again and candidates with slogans like “telling it like it is.”
But where is the courage, the truth, the leadership, the challenge to the status quo, the plan for renewing our greatness, or the telling it like it is with respect to the mounting threat of Muslim immigration?
It is nowhere to be found.
In a span of just a few days on the question of whether the United States should take in (more) “refugees,” Trump went from “possibly yes,” to “we have to,” to giving a more ambiguous statement that suggests that perhaps we shouldn’t. There’s no way of telling how many more changes in his position will occur between now and publication of this article.
Rubio stated he was “possibly open” to the idea. Cruz opposes us taking “large numbers” of refugees. Fiorina thinks Europe should do more, as if Germany’s insanely eager acceptance of nearly a million is not enough. Walker evaded the issue completely by saying it makes no sense to respond to hypotheticals. Kasich is all in for the US taking more refugees. Paul eked out a vague and ambiguous response. Graham thinks “sure, absolutely” the United States should accept refugees, otherwise referred to as our “fair share.” Jindal seems to be the only candidate who has expressed an unequivocal “no.” Whether he stands by that over time or caves to pressure, remains to be seen. Though it hardly matters. The man is polling at 0. Bush, Carson and others have not yet weighed in, but it’s safe to assume tepid answers (at best) will be forthcoming when, and if, they do arrive. (See here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, and here.)
Some may say the candidates can’t talk about the issue in an honest way because if they do they will be vilified and/or their life would be in danger. To which I would say: (1) then they cannot claim to be the standard bearers of leadership, courage, greatness, and truth, and (2) if they will not speak up now, then when?
It seems it is never a good time to “tell it like it is” when it comes to Muslims and the havoc even a small percentage can wreak upon others. Until our leaders will speak the truth, we will forever be at the losing end of this centuries-old fight.
Perhaps there is no better warning – persistently unheeded by the West – than the despairing Greek woman’s cry: “They have stolen our lives!”

They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would cease.
“As a general rule, the earlier you recognize someone is trying to kill you, the better off you’ll be.”

BRATISLAVA: Thousands of people joined anti-migrant protests in three eastern European capitals on Saturday after leaders from the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia opposed an EU scheme to fix refugee quotas.
In the Polish capital Warsaw, nearly 5,000 people, many chanting anti-Islamic slogans, marched through the city, an AFP correspondent said. “Islam will be the death of Europe”, one of the banners said.
Organisers claimed the demonstration drew 10,000 people but police refused to confirm the figure.
“We’re here so that the government hears our voice and abandons any plans to welcome Muslims,” shouted one of the organisers after starting the march with prayers which identified the participants as Roman Catholics.
Members of far-right fringe parties and football supporters chanted “Poles against migrants” and “Migrants today, terrorists tomorrow”.
Another thousand or so joined a “Welcome refugees” rally in favour of hosting migrants in Poland, a strongly Catholic EU member state which has a population of 38 million and has seen hardly any newcomers arriving, despite Europe experiencing its biggest movement of people since World War II.
    ‘My duty’
“I became a refugee when I had to flee Warsaw as the Germans invaded during the war,” 80-year-old Danuta Chomiak told AFP as she marched with the crowd. “I have a duty to be here today.”
Around 1,500 anti-migrant protestors also rallied in the Slovak capital Bratislava, some holding up banners reading: “You’re not welcome here so go home”, an AFP correspondent said.
Another said: “Multiculturalism is a utopia, don’t open the borders”.
The rally was organised by the far-right “Our Slovakia” party, led by Marian Kotleba.
Unlike neighbouring Austria and Hungary, Slovakia — a eurozone member of 5.4 million people — has seen few migrant arrivals this summer.
Police in the Czech capital Prague said some 800 people protested against the arrival of refugees and migrants, holding up banners saying: “Send them back!” and “Protect the borders”.
Demonstrators called on the Czech government to resign and for a withdrawal from the European Union which it joined in 2004.
Elsewhere another 200 people staged a counter-demonstration in support of welcoming refugees in the Czech Republic, which has a population of 10.5 million and has seen few new arrivals in recent months.
All poorer members of the EU, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic on Friday ruled out accepting refugees under a compulsory quota system outlined by the European Commission, rejecting German pleas for European solidarity in tackling the crisis.
The European Union’s 28 interior ministers are to meet on Monday to discuss a the EC plan which involves a quota system for distributing 160,000 refugees around the bloc. – AFP

Germany's refugee inferno: A disturbing dispatch with dark echoes of the past as the nation divides over the influx of foreigners

    • Germany is expected to welcome some 800,000 refugees during this year
    • Officially, the country is extending a warm welcome to their Syrian guests
    • Yet, many ordinary Germans are uncomfortable about the sheer numbers
    • Meanwhile, neo-Nazis are using influx to take to streets and spread hate

By Ian Birrell for The Mail on Sunday

In the three-storey house in the neat village of Gerstungen, the smell of smoke and charred wood hangs heavy in the air. Shards of broken glass crunch beneath my feet and police stickers across the door warn against entry.
Just hours before, in the early hours of Friday morning, arsonists firebombed the empty building – shortly after its owner revealed he had offered it as a home for some of the 800,000 refugees pouring into Germany this year.
Such extreme violence feels at odds with the respectable rural village, filled with lovingly tended gardens, duck ponds and carefree children on bikes enjoying the late summer sun.

Officially the country is welcoming tens of thousands of new migrants every day following their arduous trips

But this was just the latest in a series of vicious assaults on refugees and sinister arson attacks on their housing that reveal the dark side of German generosity towards the world’s refugees.
This year there have been 306 attacks on refugee accommodations – 46 of them torchings such as the one I witnessed in the eastern state of Thuringia. Nine of them have been in the past fortnight alone.
This is already four times the number last year, itself a threefold rise on 2013. There have also been attacks on buses of refugees and Syrians fleeing civil war. Recent victims include teenagers beaten with bottles, kicked to the ground and even urinated on in a train.

Shockingly, they show how the resurgent far-Right is exploiting the fears of many Germans over the influx of foreigners in such numbers, with incendiary talk of civil war. One neo-Nazi source even told me they were running secret military-style exercises with firearms.
It is plain a majority of Germans support Chancellor Angela Merkel’s decision to accept refugees in such high numbers. Recent arrivals have been greeted warmly with welcoming banners, food and hugs. Ministers predict the country may take another 500,000 annually over the next few years and have challenged other European nations, especially Britain, to display similar resolve.

Yet the cowardly attacks, bigots and fascists show another side to the story – and they are a chilling echo from the nation’s past, as I discovered arriving at Gerstungen less than one hour after passing the site of the former Buchenwald concentration camp.
The village of about 3,000 people currently hosts 160 refugees, housed in a seedy centre that greets visitors with a warning against xenophobia. These numbers will rise – and one after another, residents showed sympathy for the aims, if not the actions, of the bombers.
Heike, 52, a mother of two who, like others, urged me not to use her last name, claimed the mood in the village was tense after a series of break-ins blamed on refugees. ‘There are too many single men and there is nothing for them to do,’ she said.
Stefanie, a 34-year-old housewife and former casino worker, said she felt ‘uncomfortable’ amid so many foreigners and afraid even in her own house. ‘The village is going down the river. We go out to work but they come here and do nothing.’

She fears tensions between factions with opposing views on refugees may explode in Germany. ‘In this village, the divisions are getting worse and worse. It is very sad,’ she said.
Werner Hartung, Gerstungen’s mayor, rapidly condemned the attackers for hurting those most in need, while at the refugee centre I found a young couple unloading a car filled with clothes and toys for the mainly Syrian residents there.
The attacks are taking place across Germany. Recently, incendiary bombs were hurled at a new shelter in Berlin; a hostel in nearby Nauen was destroyed just before 130 asylum-seekers moved in; and a fire injured five people and forced the evacuation of 80 refugees from a unit in Baden-Württemberg.
There have also been threats to behead a conservative politician backing a new centre, while a mayor was forced out after a hate campaign over his support for refugees.
Last month, protesters shouting ‘Foreigners out’ attacked asylum-seekers arriving in a town near Dresden. Last week, a 14-year-old Syrian refugee in Potsdam was punched in the face and kicked on the ground.

Few of the arsonists and thugs have been caught, so it is unclear whether these are the actions of angry local people or organised covertly by far-Right groups. Yet one thing is clear: Germany’s neo-Nazis want to inflame and exploit concerns over refugees.
On Thursday evening, I went to a protest purporting to be against ‘civil war in Germany’ in Freital, Saxony. There have been more than 150 rallies organised by the far-Right against refugees this year. Security services recently forced removal of online posts by a shadowy group calling itself ‘Defenders of Freital’ to ‘arm themselves’ against asylum-seekers.
Another group tried and failed last month to get permission for a Nazi-style torchlit march through the town. Facebook posts by organisers of the latest protest asked people to avoid flags associated with the far-Right; they also discussed the attempted arson of a potential refugee centre.
As soon as I arrived, I was surrounded by a group of burly men, while my photographer’s camera was grabbed. ‘You do not speak English in our country,’ one crop-haired man told me. ‘You are in Germany now.’
After showing my press card, I was able to listen to the rally, although most people refused to talk to me. The photographer, however, was harassed throughout the protest, during which people chanted ‘We don’t want homes for asylum-seekers’.
Speakers displayed the usual persecution myths of the far-Right, with cheers when they complained of being seen as racists for saying they were against foreigners. ‘We talk about the problems of society and they say we are Nazis,’ claimed one.

German police were forced to hose-down demonstrators who refused to clear the roadway

    +16

The rival demonstrations necessitated a massive police protest to prevent any wide-scale disturbance

When we left the demonstration, two menacing men in hoodies followed as we turned down badly lit streets towards the car. Fortunately, riot police were watching and rushed around in a van to drive beside us, forcing the pair to shuffle away.
Among those at the protest were four local pensioners. ‘What the last speaker said is what we are all thinking,’ said 69-year-old Barbara Sobe.
One friend, a 72-year-old retired engineer, said they felt betrayed by a Chancellor they had supported. ‘Everyone wants to come to Germany because Merkel says everyone is welcome here,’ he said. ‘We do not want civil war but we fear civil war.’
Such statements sound absurd in this peaceful and prosperous powerhouse of a modern European nation, which currently enjoys the lowest unemployment levels for 24 years. Most analysts believe refugees will revitalise the nation’s ageing society by slowing population decline and plugging gaps in the workforce.
Yet, to my astonishment, I heard similar fears of unrest not just from protest organisers – who said this was the first of weekly demonstrations by ‘patriots’ – but from almost all the ordinary Germans I spoke to in both Freital and Gerstungen.
‘Maybe there could be civil war,’ said Matthias Weinlich, a former anti-asylum activist who now assists refugees in Freital. ‘When you have so many people coming from North Africa, they have a different culture. But I hope Germans can stay cool.’

    +16

Some 550 people have been temporarily housed in this Berlin sports hall while they are processed

They were also echoed when I talked with Dr Alexander Gauland, one of the founders of the Right-wing Alternative for Germany (AfD) party that has been gaining ground in areas such as Saxony and Thuringia.
Gauland claimed many German people were frightened of losing their culture. ‘It is hard to say what will happen in the future but these scenes of welcome will turn to disillusionment,’ he said.
Let me stress again that six in ten Germans believe their country can cope with the influx.
But Professor Fabian Virchow, head of the research unit on Right-wing extremism at the University of Applied Sciences in Düsseldorf, told me that while the majority wanted to help refugees, they harboured concerns about the long-term consequences for their country. He added that a significant number – more than ten per cent – thought too many foreigners were being admitted. ‘They fear this is changing Germany in a negative way. This is why we will see violent attacks.’
Or as Christine Luders, director of Germany’s Federal Anti-Discrimination Agency, put it earlier this year: ‘First the homes will burn, and then the people.’
A neo-Nazi skinhead called Werner, jailed for hate crimes, told The Mail on Sunday how far-Right extremists used codewords in chatrooms as calls to attend protests at refugee centres. He said: ‘A buzzword will give you the information where to meet for a protest against immigrant scum.’
This unpleasant racist, who wears the Iron Cross, claimed neo-Nazis held covert firearms and explosives exercises in the Czech Republic.

They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would cease.
“As a general rule, the earlier you recognize someone is trying to kill you, the better off you’ll be.”

"You think a wall as solid as the earth separates civilisation from barbarism. I tell you the division is a sheet of glass."
