Random Man Approaches the Mics at Kentucky Clerk’s Press Conference With a Message: ‘I’m Warning You…’

A random man who approached microphones that were setup for a Friday afternoon press conference to address the arrest of Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis warned members of the media that “destruction is coming on America.”
The man, who was carrying Bible-themed signage and a flagpole, while donning a long beard and cowboy hat, delivered an impromptu address about sin and the law just minutes before attorneys for Davis were scheduled to address her arrest.
Standing before an audience of journalists, he shared his wide-ranging views on religious themes, “loneliness on the streets” and “tyranny.”

“When they’re willing and able to arrest someone, it’s called tyranny,” he said, going on to also discuss spiritual issues. “We all gonna die. The word of God says, ‘Your life is like a vapor’ … we never know when we’re going to die.”
The man directly told the media that they are important to the nation, but seemingly accused them of not doing their jobs.
“This country was formed as a Christian nation,” he said, seemingly warning about the cost of sin. “I’m warning you: destruction is coming on America.”
He continued, claiming that the Constitution and Declaration of Independence say that “life begins in the womb, in conception.”
“The law by the Constitution says only Congress and the people they represent makes the laws,” he continued. “No judge can make the law … there is one law giver and that’s God.”
WLEX-TV ended up seemingly cutting off a live video feed as the man continued speaking.
A man identified as Alan Hoyle who matched the individual’s description was interviewed by WKYT-TV on Friday, saying that he was a supporter of Davis:
“Kudos to her for her stand, because, like I said, she would be disobeying the law if she did marry them,” he said. “She’s standing on her religious right.”

ACLU, Muslim Rights Groups Offended Over Tennessee Sheriffs’ Comments…

Doesn’t take much to cause butt hurt with the special snowflakes crowd.
    Via The Tennessean:
Several statewide civil liberty and immigrant rights organizations are denouncing recent comments made by two Tennessee sheriffs concerning Muslims in the state.
“Recently the sheriffs of Hamilton and Sevier counties have both made alarmist and sensational anti-Muslim comments, on the heels of similar statements from state legislators. Inaccurate, sweeping indictments made by leaders in law enforcement endanger members of the very communities that they have taken an oath to protect,” reads a statement from the four organizations, issued Wednesday.
The organizations are the state chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union, the American Center for Outreach, the American Muslim Advisory Council and the Tennessee Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition.
Hamilton County Sheriff Jim Hammond and Sevier County Sheriff Ron Seals each made comments considered disparaging during recent appearances before local conservative organizations, according to reports from the Chattanooga Times Free Press and Knoxville News Sentinel.
Hammond called Islam “communism with a god” and added that Islam uses religion to get tax breaks and “use our own system against us.” The sheriff said he was referencing only “jihadists,” reported the Chattanooga paper.
Seals told attendees at a local tea party event to “report” Muslims who are “aggressive in local restaurants,” according to the Knoxville paper.
“Law enforcement leaders and other elected officials who do not have active relationships with their local Muslim communities need to establish those relationships. Ignorance is not an excuse for those who are entrusted with public safety,” said Zulfat Suara of the American Muslim Advisory Council.

Student Arrested For ‘Impeach Obama’ Sign Sues Police

Psst, it’s called the First Amendment…
    Via NY Post:
A Long Island college student who was arrested for hanging an “Impeach Obama” banner from a Long Island Expressway overpass is suing the Nassau County Police Department for violating his right to free speech, according to a Long Island federal lawsuit.
Danny Martins, a senior at Hofstra University who says he’s a member of the school’s Libertarian Club, was charged with disorderly conduct in June 2014 after hanging up the message and the American flag from a pedestrian walkway in Jericho.
But a judge eventually tossed all charges against the libertarian activist after citing his right to free speech.
Nassau County prosecutors initially argued that the activity posed a safety hazard.
Martins, who routinely hung political messages from overpasses beginning in 2013, filed suit against the Nassau department as well as individual officers involved in his arrest

We do have something of a Muslim problem in Tennessee due to the refugee resettlement programs under Governors Haslam and now Lee. Lee is a nice guy, but a very weak governor who does not have the personal resolve to deal either with the Muslim issue or the Chinese virus lockdowns. He needs to go. I'd like to see Andy Ogles from Maury County in there, but not sure what kind of a shot he would have next time around.
