INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS: Requests law enforcement and governmental agencies to avoid and suspend contacts and outreach activities with the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR)
A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
To urge and request law enforcement and governmental agencies in Louisiana to avoid and suspend all contacts and outreach activities with the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR).
WHEREAS, the Federal Bureau of Investigation has suspended all formal contacts with the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) due to evidence indicating a relationship between CAIR and Hamas, a designated foreign terrorist organization; and
WHEREAS, one of CAIR’s directors was sentenced to a year in federal prison for violating U.S. sanctions against Iraq; and
WHEREAS, a CAIR director in Virginia pled guilty to terrorism-related financial and conspiracy charges, which resulted in a federal prison sentence; and
WHEREAS, a communications specialist and civil rights coordinator for CAIR trained with an al Qaeda-tied Kashmir organization that is listed on the Department of State’s international terror list and was also indicted on charges of conspiring to help al Qaeda and the Taliban battle American troops in Afghanistan and was sentenced to twenty years in prison; and
WHEREAS, CAIR’s former community affairs director pled guilty to three federal counts of bank and visa fraud and agreed to be deported to Egypt after he had funneled money to activities supporting terrorism and had published material advocating suicide attacks against the United States; these illegal activities took place while he was employed by CAIR; and
WHEREAS, a CAIR fund raiser was arrested on terrorism-related charges and was deported from the United States due to his work as executive director of the Global Relief Foundation, which was designated as a fundraising front organization for a foreign terrorist organization by the U.S. Treasury Department for financing al Qaeda and other terrorist organizations; and
WHEREAS, CAIR opened its first office in Washington, D.C., with the help of a grant from the Holy Land Foundation; and
WHEREAS, the federal case against the Holy Land Foundation, a charitable organization that was shut down by the United States Department of the Treasury for funding Jihadist terrorist organizations, was the largest successful terrorism financing prosecution in U.S. history, and the case identified CAIR as a Muslim Brotherhood front group, and CAIR was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the trial; and
WHEREAS, the cofounder of CAIR’s parent organization, Islamic Association for Palestine, was sentenced to prison on terrorism charges for financing Palestinian Islamic Jihad, a designated terrorist organization.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Legislature of Louisiana does urge and request law enforcement and governmental agencies in Louisiana to avoid and suspend all contacts and outreach activities with the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR).

Bulgarian Civilian Vigilante Groups Hunting Migrants
A group of men in Bulgaria roam the countryside helping plant trees, participating in torch light parades on national holidays and tracking down illegal migrants to turn into the Bulgarian authorities. The group call themselves the “organization for the protection of Bulgarian citizens,” and were founded by Hristo Atanasov, a cook and self described patriot, Die Welt reports.
Atanasov leads the group who go out on weekends donning military fatigues to go on what they call “healthy walks” through the nearby beaches and mountains close to his home in the coastal town of Burgas. Atanasov claims that the group likes to go to the area because of the natural beauty but also because it is a major hotspot for migrants who have come across the border from neighbouring Turkey.
The self styled patriot describes the process saying that the group often spots the people smugglers first, “they run 200 to 300 metres ahead to see if the coast is clear,” he said. If the migrants see him and his men they often run away, “they think we are the police,” Atanasov remarked.
The patrol leader said that he is usually joined by around 30 more men at any given weekend. The group has so far managed to capture more than 50 migrants crossing the Bulgarian-Greek border and they bring them all directly to Bulgarian police.

Hackers have leaked the personal details of 150,000 users of the Muslim Match website after breaking into the niche dating portal.
Almost 150,000 user credentials and profiles, as well as more than 700,000 private messages between users, were posted online.
"These private messages cover a range of subjects from religious discussion and small talk to marriage proposals,” Vice's Motherboard website reports.
A range of information including logged IP addresses and poorly hashed MD5 passwords was exposed by the breach. Some of the private messages contain Skype handles and other potentially sensitive information.
Troy Hunt has already added data from the leak to his breach notification site “Have I Been Pwned?”.
Circumstantially, evidence such as the format of leaked data suggests that SQL injection may have been used in the attack.
The Muslim Match website is not currently accessible to users, having put up a notice stating it is taking a short break for Ramadan, and had not responded to queries at the time of publication.
Muslim Match has become the latest in a growing list of dating or match-making sites to suffer a data breach. Previous victims have included BeautifulPeople.com and eHarmony, among others. ®

Tatjana Festerling is a former leader of PEGIDA Dresden and a popular speaker at anti-Islamization rallies in Germany and elsewhere in Europe. She recently visited Bulgaria for a “ride-along” with some of the volunteers who do border patrols and intercept illegal immigrants.
Critics of the Bulgarian volunteers refer to them as “vigilantes” and “paramilitary militias”. Their supporters call them “citizen activists”, and say they want to assist overworked and understaffed border guards. As Ms. Festerling reported in yesterday’s interview, the “refugees” are actually invaders, young men of jihad age who come to Europe to establish a bridgehead and do damage to the infidels, all the while milking the European welfare system.
But you wouldn’t know that from reading the following hit piece from Der Tagesspiegel, which is fairly representative of the way the German media cover such matters.

It is a fiery appeal to fight for “Fortress Europe” — and against refugees. A rally in Leipzig for Legida: Tatjana Festerling, ex-frontwoman of Pegida, is standing on Monday evening on the truck stage. She is wearing a camouflage jacket, with the insignia of a paramilitary vigilante group from Bulgaria on the lapel, and appeals to the men who are present in the Richard Wagner Plaza — especially those “with military or police training” — to travel to the Black Sea and join the operations of the “patriots” at the border region with Turkey against the “invaders.” That, she said, is “what the elites want to prevent by all means. The living friendship between European peoples.”
In the past week, in the framework of an extensive European trip, Festerling travelled from Denmark through Slovakia, Hungary and Romania as well as Bulgaria. Together with her comrade-in-arms Edwin Wagensveld, who became famous in Pegida as “Ed the Dutchman,” she joined the patrols of the Vasil-Levski Brigade, a kind of private homeland army of nationalists. She praises the leader Vladimir Rusev as “warmhearted and upright and especially also an experienced military man,” very much appreciated by the population in Bulgaria.

She also met Petar Nizamov. The “refugee hunter” was arrested in April and placed under house arrest, as reported by Bulgarian media. The Bulgarian Attorney General Sotir Tsatsarov said at the time that it was not acceptable when groups or individuals took upon themselves the functions of state bodies and hunted refugees. There are several ongoing criminal proceedings against Nizamov. According to a report by The Economist, he posted an amateur video in the spring to attract comrades. It shows how three refugees in the region of Malko Tornovo were brutally bound with cable ties. The refugees allegedly reported to police that the troop had threatened them with a pistol and knives, in addition to searching for money and valuables, according to the British paper.
The ex-frontwoman of Pegida, who recently was expelled from the leadership of the anti-Islam movement in a dispute with Lutz Bachman, posted pictures on Facebook and extensive reports of her Bulgarian excursion. She herself is wearing a camouflage suit on the pictures; some of the men of the vigilante group are disguised. In front of the public in Leipzig — there are about 300 people in the Plaza — she explains: “Should I trip through the bush in a pink T-shirt and high-heeled sandals?”

Whether Festerling’s call to join the paramilitary vigilantes in Bulgaria will have legal consequences remains undetermined. In the Criminal Code, Paragraph 109h reads: “Whoever recruits a German to military service in a military or military-like establishment for the benefit of a foreign power will be penalized with a term of imprisonment of three months to five years.” Even an attempt to do so is a criminal offence.

As described by the former AfD politician from Hamburg, the operations are covered by the law. “Bulgarian volunteers” would “track down illegals in a completely legal manner and without weapons and hand them over to the border police,” Festerling said in Leipzig. However, videos posted on the internet by the troop itself show fighters with guns and also doing target practice. The FAZ reports that the vigilante group appeals on its internet page to all compatriots to protect the southern border of Bulgaria and the fatherland and to free the world “from the slavery of the Zionist international financial mafia.”

Tatjana Festerling is a former leader of PEGIDA Dresden and one of the founding leaders of the new organization Fortress Europe (Festung Europa).
The clip below shows an interview given yesterday via skype. In it Ms. Festerling discusses her recent trip to Bulgaria to accompany civilian volunteers on their border patrols to look for illegally entering “refugees”. She also talks about the “pitchfork affair” (which did not result in legal action against her) and other instances of repression against dissidents in Europe, especially Germany.
