Death of free speech: Germany approves bill imposing massive fines for online “hate speech” and “fake news”

April 5, 2017 4:50 pm By Robert Spencer 33 Comments
“German Justice Minister Heiko Maas said that the companies offering such online platforms are responsible for removing hateful content. He said the new bill would not restrict the freedom of expression, but intervene only when criminal hatred or intentionally false news are posted.”
What is “criminal hatred”? Clearly what German authorities mean is not just incitement to violence, but opposition to their suicidal policies regarding Muslim migration: “the issue” of this online censorship “has come to the fore amid the recent influx of migrants to Germany, which has sparked a backlash among some Germans including a rise in online vitriol.” German authorities apparently define “vitriol” as including any opposition to the Muslim migrant influx, no matter how reasoned, and to their supine attitude regarding jihad terror: Facebook and Twitter have already blocked 90% of their daily referrals from Jihad Watch, and the site is blocked by many Internet service providers in the UK and Europe. The government of Pakistan says that Facebook is doing its bidding and removing content that violates Sharia blasphemy laws.
The concept of “hate speech” is subjective. I don’t think that what I do constitutes “hate speech,” but Leftist and Muslim groups insist that it does, and they have all the power. “Hate speech” laws are tools in the hands of the powerful to silence the powerless and quell their dissent. But the increasingly authoritarian character of the political elites is in the final analysis a sign of their desperation. They didn’t see Brexit or Trump coming. They are rapidly moving to delegitimize and silence all those who dissent from their globalist internationalist agenda. But our numbers are growing. This ain’t over. And they will not succeed in silencing us.

“Germany approves bill curbing online hate crime, fake news,” by Kirsten Grieshaber, Associated Press, April 5, 2017:
BERLIN (AP) — Germany’s Cabinet on Wednesday approved a new bill that punishes social networking sites if they fail to swiftly remove illegal content such as hate speech or defamatory fake news.
Chancellor Angela Merkel’s Cabinet agreed on rules that would impose fines of up to 50 million euros (53.4 million dollars) on Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms.
German Justice Minister Heiko Maas said that the companies offering such online platforms are responsible for removing hateful content. He said the new bill would not restrict the freedom of expression, but intervene only when criminal hatred or intentionally false news are posted.
Germany poses a particular problem for U.S.-owned social networking sites accustomed to American standards of free speech. Due to its Nazi past, Germany bans public Holocaust denial and any overt promotion of racism. The issue has come to the fore amid the recent influx of migrants to Germany, which has sparked a backlash among some Germans including a rise in online vitriol.
Social networks need to ensure that obviously criminal content — as defined by German law — will be deleted within 24 hours and other illegal content after seven days.
“Just like on the streets, there is also no room for criminal incitement on social networks,” Maas said.
“The internet affects the culture of debate and the atmosphere in our society. Verbal radicalization is often a preliminary stage to physical violence,” he added.
The minister pointed out that social networks don’t delete enough punishable content, citing research that he said showed Twitter deletes just 1 percent of illegal content flagged by users, while Facebook deletes 39 percent.
Maas also said that measures to combat hate speech and so-called fake news will ultimately have to be taken at the European level to be effective….
They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would cease.
“As a general rule, the earlier you recognize someone is trying to kill you, the better off you’ll be.”

IED Explosions Target German Soccer Team Bus; Note at Scene Claims Islamist Motive

IED Explosions Target German Soccer Team Bus; Note at Scene Claims Islamist Motive

UPDATE: A man known to authorities as an Islamist has been arrested. See more updates below.
A series of explosions set off near the Borussia Dortmund's team bus last night rocked the vehicle and injured one of the team's star players, Marc Bartra.

The three explosions were caused by an apparent IED remotely detonated with a mobile phone.
While authorities initially tried to downplay any possible terrorist connection, reports early this morning indicate that the case is now being considered a possible act of terrorism after a note found at the scene indicated a possible Islamist motive.

Some of the details of that note claiming responsibility are now coming to light.
    Deutsche Welle reports:
Three explosions went off near Borussia Dortmund's team bus as it set off for the Champions League quarterfinal match against AS Monaco on Tuesday, authorities said. According to local media reports, the case has been handed over to federal prosecutors, which usually means an incident is considered terrorism or a similarly serious crime. Further reports indicated that a note found near the explosives began "in the name of Allah, the merciful," and that investigators were looking into possible Islamist connections.
Police spokesman Gunnar Wortmann confirmed there were "three explosions near the [Borussia Dortmund] team bus as they left the hotel to go to the stadium." Dortmund police said on their Twitter account said they "assume that this was an attack with serious explosives."
One German media outlet has obtained the text of the note.

An edited Google Translate version of the note reads:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, 12 unbelievers will be killed by our Blessed Brethren in Germany... Your Tornadoes [German military aircraft] still fly above the ground of the caliphate to assassinate Muslims. However, we remain steadfast by the grace of Allah.
As of now, all the disbelieving actors, singers, sportsmen and all prominent figures in Germany and other Crusader nations are on the death list of the Islamic State. And as long as the following demands are not fulfilled: Removing Tornadoes from Syria. Rammstein Air Base must be closed.
    A self-styled "anti-fascist" group also claimed responsibility:

The explosions and threats notwithstanding, the two teams have vowed to hold the soccer match tonight.
They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would cease.

So, what happened to all that renowned German ingenuity?

Are they spending so much money feeding and housing millions of Muslim freeloaders, posing as refugees, that they no longer have enough money to protect their citizens…from the Muslim invaders?

The German government started erecting Concrete Barriers around densely populated areas or festivals to prevent Muslim terrorists from mowing down civilians with hijacked assault trucks, now nearly a monthly occurrence in Europe. So they decided to erect concrete barriers to prevent trucks from slamming into people. Each concrete blocks weighs 2.4 tons. Watch what happens in a crash test.

They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would cease.

Default Hitler Loved Him Some Jihadi Too.....

Merkel confesses: “There is no doubt some asylum seekers are terrorists”

April 14, 2017 8:14 am By Christine Williams 21 Comments
German Chancellor Angela Merkel has finally confessed that there is “no doubt” some of the migrants she invited into Europe are terrorists
The shameless Angela Merkel is patronizing her citizens. The Islamic State revealed over two years ago that it smuggled thousands of jihadis into Europe, but only after sexual attacks in Germany en masse by Muslim migrants, a massive rise in crime also due to those migrants, the deadly Christmas jihad attack, when a jihadist plowed a truck into a festive market, and many other jihad attacks in Germany, plus other jihad attacks across Europe, is Angela Merkel finally admitting the obvious.
Merkel has also started to play a blame game after the soccer bus attack in Dortmund attack. She criticized “North Rhine-Westphalia for not conducting random police checks.” That takes a lot of nerve.

“Merkel Finally Confesses: ‘There Is No Doubt’ Some Asylum Seekers Are Terrorists”, by Jack Montgomery, Breitbart, April 13, 2017:
German Chancellor Angela Merkel has finally confessed that there is “no doubt” some of the migrants she invited into Europe are terrorists, following another deadly terror attack by a bogus asylum seeker in Stockholm, Sweden.
“Many people are convinced that the refugee influx has made our country more unsafe,” journalists from the Funke newspaper group told the chancellor, in a wide-ranging interview which also covered Syria, North Korea, and the upcoming federal elections.
“There is no doubt that among the so many people who have sought shelter in our country were also persons who have become the focus of the security authorities,” she confessed, hastily adding that “we should not forget that our country was already in the sights of Islamic terrorism before the many refugees came to us”.
Germany suffered a high-profile terror attack at the hands of Tunisian migrant Anis Amri in December 2016, similar to the recent attack in Stockholm, Sweden, and a previous attack in Nice, France.
Amri drove a hijacked lorry into a packed Christmas market in Berlin, taking advantage of the European Union’s borderless Schengen rules to escape the country afterwards.
He was discovered accidentally by two Italian police officers during a random stop-and-search in Milan, shooting and injuring one before being shot and killed himself by rookie officer Luca Scata.
Another asylum seeker directed by an Islamic State instructor attacked four tourists from Hong Kong on a train near Würzburg with an axe and knife, critically injuring two of them, in July 2016.
He also left a woman walking her dog near the train with serious injuries after striking her in the face with the axe twice.
Merkel was also asked if, following attacks in “Stockholm, St. Petersburg, London, also Berlin”, people would “have to accept terror” as part of life in multicultural societies.
She was quick to reject this, claiming that Germany could “never come to terms” with it.
French President François Hollande’s former prime minister, Manuel Valls, was jeered in public for saying that France “should learn to live with terrorism” after the Nice attack……..
They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would cease.

Blood on the Streets in Duisburg

Posted on April 18, 2017 by Baron Bodissey

Violence erupted on the streets of Duisburg on Easter Sunday evening, and a teenaged boy was killed. The article below does not discuss the ethnicity of either victim or perps, but it was almost certainly enricher-on-enricher violence.
Egri Nök, who translated this report from Express.de, includes the following note:
This happened in Duisburg-Marxloh, in North Rhine-Westphalia. You would have to search to find a German there. The few grandmas remaining are probably barricaded in their homes on a Sunday night.
Lauren Southern recorded a video report from the same district, and it provides a good overview of what the area is like.
    The translated article:
Easter Sunday on an open street: Boy (15) killed with knife and axe

Duisburg — The sidewalk on the Henriettenstraße in Marxloh is covered with blood. It is the blood of a 15-year-old, who was chased and grievously wounded by several perpetrators around 11 PM on Easter Sunday, and died in the ER in hospital. Bloody Easter in a heavily burdened problem district of Duisburg.
    Father grievously injured, too
The father who tried to save his boy from the mob was wounded just as badly as another helper. The mother managed to pull her boy into the hallway before the mob fled, and the emergency rescue was called.

    Homicide Division investigates
At the scene, police secured an axe. A homicide division is now investigating with which weapons the boy was attacked and shortly thereafter succumbed to his severe injuries, but they are met with a wall of silence.
Police immediately deployed a squad of a hundred, secured the scene, and pushed back the onlookers. Investigators cordoned off the house of the boys’ parents with a red and white band, and marked the blood and evidence with numbers.
The atmosphere became stirred up, was tense and aggressive. Groups yelled at each other; a disturbance was imminent, but the police managed to keep it down with strong forces and dogs.
One eyewitness voiced his opinion that the boy possibly was victim of one of the family quarrels which are frequently conducted on the open street in Marxloh.

Germany: Number of migrant criminal suspects soars by more than 50% in 2016

April 26, 2017 2:47 pm By Christine Williams 21 Comments
In addition to crimes by Muslim migrants and jihad attacks, Germany is stuck with a sizeable bill to pay. Back in January, the Express reported that to clean up the mess created by Muslim migrants will cost Germany and EU taxpayers $46 billion. But then in a later report, the Express estimated that figure would be much higher. Despite the mess created by Angela Merkel’s irresponsible immigration policy, she “signalled her intention to increase international aid spending to record levels even as the cost of her refugee policies spirals to a staggering £70 billion.”
But apparently many Germans are rather forgiving:
Concerns over security and integration initially pushed up the poll ratings of the right-wing Alternative for Germany (AfD), but support has slipped as the rate of arrivals has slowed.
The public all over the West appears to be quick to absorb blame and forget news about Muslim rape gangs in the UK, where the gangs view young infidel girls as “easy meat”; the epidemic crime in Sweden; Christian genocide in the Middle East; and the Islamic brutality against gays, infidels and Yazidi girls. This willful blindness can be blamed on the likes of German Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere, who insists that poor housing and crowded rooms are the reason for Muslim crime.
Angela Merkel only decided to stem the flow of incoming refugees when she realized that it meant political suicide for her to continue to bring them in at such a rapid clip. Despite the Cologne sex attacks that made global headlines and further crimes that followed, her earlier words were “we can do it.”

“Number of migrant criminal suspects in Germany soared by more than 50% in 2016, as minister warns the number of crimes has ‘increased disproportionately'”, by Chris Pleasance, Daily Mail, April 24, 2017:
The number of migrant criminal suspects in Germany soared by more than 50 per cent in 2016, data from the Interior Ministry showed on Monday.
Police were hunting 174,000 suspects classed as immigrants in 2016, the data showed, 52.7 per cent more than in the previous year.
Crimes motivated by Islamism also increased by 13.7 per cent. That includes the truck attack on a Berlin Christmas market by a failed Tunisian asylum seeker.
Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere warned that crimes committed by refugees had ‘increased disproportionately’ last year.
The number of attacks on refugee homes has declined for the first time since data started being collected in 2014.
Some 995 were carried out in 2016, compared with 1,031 the previous year.
Mr De Maiziere blamed the high crime rate among migrants on their housing , saying that many were living in makeshift shelters or sharing crowded rooms in 2016.
The number of attacks on refugee homes has declined for the first time since data started being collected in 2014.
Some 995 were carried out in 2016, compared with 1,031 the previous year.
Under the German system immigrants are classed as people who are applying for asylum, refugees, illegal immigrants and those whose deportation has been temporarily suspended.
The number of German suspects declined by 3.4 percent to 1,407,062.
More than a million migrants have arrived in Germany in the last two years, largely from the Middle East.
Concerns over security and integration initially pushed up the poll ratings of the right-wing Alternative for Germany (AfD), but support has slipped as the rate of arrivals has slowed.
Chancellor Angela Merkel’s party, the Christian Democratic Union, has shown strong gains in recent polls, including in Germany’s most populous state of North Rhine-Westphalia….

Report: Spike in number of guns obtained legally by right-wing extremists in Germany

A new report has found some 750 right-wing extremists in Germany own guns legally. Meanwhile, refugee-related attacks with weapons more than doubled from the previous year.

Around 750 right-wing extremists in Germany have legally acquired guns, up from 400 in 2014, the "Welt am Sonntag" newspaper reported on Saturday.
The newspaper acquired the statistics after German lawmaker Martina Renner, member of the socialist Left party, submitted a request for information to the federal government. "Police and those responsible for the enforcement of gun laws must deal urgently with the 750 right-wing extremists who have obtained gun licenses," Renner said after the figures were released.
A participant in a neo-Nazi march in Lower Saxony in 2013

The spike in legal gun ownership among right-wing extremists coincides with an increase in the number of attacks involving guns on asylum-seekers and refugees, refugee shelters and volunteers, the lawmaker noted. In 2016 there were 79 such attacks - up from about 30 in 2015. The weapons used in the attacks include pistols, semi-automatic weapons and blank-firing guns.
    Concern over migrant attacks
"The rapid rise of small arms licenses apparently corresponds with the acts of violence against migrants using blanks, etc.," Renner said.
In October 2016 a known member of the extremist "Reichsbürger" movement shot and killed a 32-year-old police officer in Bavaria. It was later revealed he had been a legal gun owner.
Though gun ownership isn't rare in Germany, owners are subject to strict laws and are rarely allowed to obtain permits for self-defense.

    More Germans are arming themselves

For weeks arms sellers and regulatory agencies have seen increased demand for gun permits. Enrollment in self-defense courses is also up. Police say that is not yet a problem. (27.01.2016)

More than 3,500 attacks on refugees in Germany in 2016: report

New figures show there were nearly ten attacks on refugees and refugee accommodation every day in Germany in 2016. The country's opposition says the government is not doing enough against right-wing violence. (26.02.2017)

The Bundeswehr's image problem - is it overrun with right-wing extremists?

The case of a German lieutenant suspected of planning a right-wing terror attack has unsettled both political and army leaders. The question of whether the Bundeswehr is a right-wing haven is as old as the army itself. (03.05.2017)

Germany failed to track extremist 'Reichsbürger'

The German government has only just started tracking dangerous Reichsbürger, it has admitted. Members of the movement reject the legitimacy of the German state and have murdered police officers. (21.02.2017)

    German police raid 'Reichsbürger' movement

German police have carried out multiple raids on suspected "Reichsbürger" members. The movement believes the German Reich continues to exist in its 1937 borders and doesn't recognize the modern German state. (30.03.2017)

Police find weapons parts, ammunition during raid on 'Reichsbürger' extremist

Police in the German state of Lower Saxony have searched the property of a so-called "Reichsbürger." The extremist grouping has gained support in Germany following the onset of the refugee crisis. (04.02.2017)

Reichsbürger movement on the rise in Germany

The Reichsbürger movement in Germany is on the rise, and already has thousands of followers, a survey finds. Followers reject the authority of the German state, some found their own kingdom - and some are armed. (13.12.2016)

help me understand how the average German can fail to see that they have essentially been conquered by the mooslimes? Or the French, or the Brits or the Dutch? I see the hike in immigrants coming here and see more folks getting new arms and training. So at least some of us are becoming aware of the growing threat here. don't get it. Prep and pray, the end has arrived.

The trap of socialism has been cataloged to include a higher rate of mental illness as well as a drop in IQ and critical thinking skills, destruction of the nuclear family unit. All of Europe has been living off America since the end of WW2 and have dragged our economy down as a result. The sheep of Europe are incapable of facing life w/o a nanny state to rule them. Their emotional 'reasoning' is that life under islam is far preferable to life with Liberty. They are the proof of the r-Type Reproduction theory

Germany: Court rules it acceptable for politician to be called “Nazi slut” on TV for opposing Muslim migrant influx

May 18, 2017 8:40 am By Christine Williams Leave a Comment
When AfD leader Alice Weidel said during a Cologne party conference that political correctness belongs in the dustbin of history, comedian Christian Ehring responded by putting her words to the test.
“Alright then, political correctness is over – let’s all be incorrect to each other. The Nazi slut is right there,” Ehring said while hosting his ‘Extra 3’ program.
Clearly, Weidel was expressing reasonable concerns about the prospect of Western freedoms, particularly freedom of speech, being shut down by accusations of racism, and specifically “Islamophobia.” Ehring knew this, but that did not stop him from spewing his ghastly insult and mischaracterizing Weidel’s intent. In so doing, he has perpetuated the common leftist/socialist schemes of dehumanizing their detractors and thereby inciting violence toward them. Another tactic of theirs is to label anyone “Nazi” who merely questions damaging immigration policy and the barbarism that is spreading into the West due to Islamic supremacist and jihadi incursion.
Remember also that this “free speech” court ruling comes in a country in which a comedian was arrested last year for criticizing Turkish President Erdogan.

“‘Nazi slut’: German court rules ‘satirical’ insult of AfD leader is acceptable”, RT News, May 17, 2017:
Calling a far-right politician a “Nazi slut” on television is perfectly acceptable, according to a German court, which ruled that a TV presenter was being satirical when he said those very words about an Alternative for Germany (AfD) politician last month.
Failing to see the ‘comedic value’ in Ehring’s joke, Weidel took legal action against the presenter, saying his words were defamatory and put her in danger.
However, a Hamburg court disagreed with Weidel on Wednesday, ruling that the phrase was clearly a joke about the politician’s reference to political correctness.
It ruled that the word ‘Nazi’ referenced the fact that “within large sections of the public, the AfD is viewed as right-wing or even far right-wing,” according to the Local and DPA.
It went on to state that while the word ‘slut’ has a sexual connotation, it is clear to the viewer that “the description was used because the complainant is a woman, and that the comment in no way is truthful.”
The judgement also stated that satirical exaggeration is protected by German laws on freedom of speech, and that Weidel, as a public figure, must accept being the target of exaggerated satire.
Weidel has announced she will appeal the decision.
“This ruling shows how far you can go under the cover of satire in Germany. That such aggressive defamation also poses a threat to Ms Weidel’s safety doesn’t seem to bother the court,” AfD spokesman Christian Luth said.
The ruling comes less than one week after Weidel made headlines for accusing German Chancellor Angela Merkel of being “insane.”
“Donald Trump said that Merkel is insane and I absolutely agree with that. It is a completely nonsensical form of politics that is being followed here,” she told the Local….
