They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would cease.

    Apr 1
Apr 1 America’s Impending Camp of the Saints Moment

    John Q. Publius
    Western Zeitgeist's Ennui, Immigration

“And in my 27th year, I was dragged kicking and screaming into the
Light. I looked at God in the face and I said, I said God I said, ‘I
thought I was in heaven this whole time!’”-
    Every Time I Die, “INRihab”
On March 25th (Palm Sunday) a caravan of at least 1,500 families (I’m always very skeptical of “family” claims when it comes to migrants, and trust me, it’s a well-earned skepticism), so let’s very conservatively put that number at 4,500 people, began their month-long trek north toward the United States through Mexico, banking on the fact that no one from customs will stop them, or at the very least, they’ll be given asylum in the land of milk and honey. Mostly from Honduras, and calling themselves “Migrants in the Struggle,” these are not refugees—they are fleeing no conflict—but they are Latin America’s version of Jean Raspail’s Last Chance Armada from The Camp of the Saints, spurred on by the volunteers of People Without Borders/Pueblo Sin Fronteras. They march for “dignity” and the “right to asylum,” and, as TeleSUR tells us:
Through the mass mobilization, the group organizing the journey, ‘Pueblo Sin Fronteras,’ is demanding an end to gang violence, corruption between the police and governments, violence against women and the LGBTQI community, justice for the victims of domestic violence, and to the violence in the form of extortion and threats in the Central American countries the migrants hail from.
How exactly any of that ties into demanding a foreign country accept thousands of illegal aliens is not explicated, but in case you hadn’t noticed, the thinking train left the station a long time ago when it comes to “matters of the heart.” As Jean Raspail wrote, “The important thing about oppression, if you’re going to keep it panting in the public eye without killing it outright, is to make sure there’s plenty of variety.” What amounts to so much psychobabble was brilliantly dissected by Steve Sailer back in 2015:
There are currently 418 million people in South America, and the U.N. says there will be 510 million by midcentury. What are the odds that at some point something will go wrong in Latin America that interested parties in the U.S. will try to define as justifying our own Camp of the Saints? Last year, the Obama administration tried to pass off Central American gang violence as justification for letting in unaccompanied youths. Next year, it could be an earthquake, hurricane, civil strife, recession, inflation, sexism, homophobia, or transgender insensitivity.[1]
The “dream” of Pueblo Sin Fronteras is, “to build solidarity bridges among peoples and turndown (sic)border walls imposed by greed.” Starting on the 18th, a large chunk of the Armada—around 1,200 people—began amassing in Tapachula, Mexico, after they illegally crossed into Mexico as the lone border agent there walked off her post to get a Coke at a local restaurant and watched the Armada stream by. Over the course of the next week, more subsequently joined. The group of aliens and their sponsors celebrated the first victory “against” borders on the 26th with the addition of some tardy “reinforcements” from Guatemala—“The Refugee Caravan knocking down borders yesterday in Huehuetan! Immigration agents abandoned the post when they saw us coming. The people celebrate this first small victory!” On April 5th, some no doubt well-intentioned American lawyers will join up with the caravan in Pueblo, Mexico, and de-brief its Christs on the intricacies of immigration law and asylum claims and the like, all in the service of tearing down the awful borders that divide the rich tapestry of humanity! The ultimate destination is, naturally, Tijuana and on to “Moonbeam” Brown’s California (which, by the way, is up 842% in human trafficking since it declared itself a “sanctuary”).
Under the banner “We Are All Native Americans” (recalling eerily “We Are All From the Ganges Now”), the caravan specifically timed their departure to coincide with Holy Week and Easter; their self-styled “Stations of the Cross” will surely recall the timing of the landing of the Last Chance Armada from The Camp of the Saints, though in this instance it is the launch, not the landing, of the Armada. The symbolism should be eminently clear—not only will the caravan’s journey take forty days, but its genesis on Palm Sunday and its first Holy Week was consciously done to imbue the caravan with a certain religio-mythical aura and divinity of purpose that, coupled with its ceaselesssentimentalization in the public space that will only grow the nearer they get to the U.S. border, would make its refusal of entry at the border the most egregious of crimes, a violation of our basic humanity.
An alternate slogan of the Last Chance Armada is “Migrants in the Battle,” and several media outlets are framing the caravan as a “crusade.” Not a single member of the caravan has seen fit to apply for a visa. This is actually an extremely entitled way to conduct oneself; imagine for a minute you were hosting an event and a group of people simply showed up and demanded entry. By all rights you would refuse them, and yet here we are where thousands of individuals—and the number grows daily—march on the United States border illegally through Mexico while that nation does nothing (which should tell you all you need to know about Mexico’s stance regarding its northerly neighbor), and expect admittance despite not qualifying under any definition as refugees, despite no formal invitation, and despite the fact that the American public has in the majority been staunchly opposed to Third World immigration desde siempre. We would be complete monsters to refuse their entry, though, despite the fact that, to quote Frederick Wilhelmsen:
In order to be, a society must first defend itself against whatever and whoever might threaten its existence. The inability to defend oneself against the enemy has always been the sign of approaching death…Men can live and act together only if they are bound together by code and custom, myth and legend, sculpture and song...Where such underlying orthodoxy is lacking we find ourselves in the midst of an aggregate of ghettos, not a society.
The invasion has been well underway for a long time now, the ubiquitous boiling white frogs totally unaware—or drugged with “compassion”—as the West slowly fills up with hostile aliens. This most visceral test on our southern border will show just how boiled we are. Will we refuse Emma Lazarus’s “wretched refuse,” committed the softest of suicides, or will we take back our self-determination and deny entry to those who have no right to demand it of us? Imagine if whites decided to flood Honduras en masse and agitate to change local customs, laws, language, and mores. Imagine if Honduras becoming majority non-Honduran by 2050 was hailed as an indisuptable good. It is a sickening double standard that flows one way only, as Jean Raspail wrote in The Camp of the Saints:
It is a known fact that racism comes in two forms: that practiced by whites—heinous and inexcusable, whatever its motives—and that practiced by blacks—quite justified, whatever its excesses, since it’s merely the expression of a righteous revenge, and it’s up to the whites to be patient and understanding.
Part of that revenge, presumably, would be for us to pack up and flee, or kill ourselves, so that the righteous dark-skinned peoples of the globe may partake in our spoils. But we all know that won’t last more than a generation, and what will they do when there’s no one left to put the blame on? As you might expect for an ideology driven by high time preference, no thought to this eventuality is given except that white racism, which is to say racism, must be stamped out, and the only way to do that, despite all the capitulations and entitlements and aid and apologies appears to be simply that whites cease to exist. As Jeffrey Hart wrote:
For “racism” has without a doubt become the taboo of our times, and like all taboos is routinely exempted from critical examination. But what is racism? Most people do not now and have not in the past subscribed to esoteric theories regarding the superiority of this or that race. Most people, however, are able to perceive that the “other group” looks rather different and lives rather differently from their own. Such “racist” or “ethnocentric” feelings are undoubtedly healthy, and involve merely a preference for one’s own culture and kind…No group can long survive unless it does “prefer itself.”…The liberal rote anathema on “racism” is in effect a poisonous assault upon Western self-preference.
There are, in any case, fellow travelers, Westerners of soul and spirit, who are not white (think of Monsieur Hamadura of The Camp of the Saints), and these people either came to the West or support the West because they understand its survival is absolutely vital to the survival of humanity. The West (at least in principle, and sometimes to its detriment) is concerned with issues of conservation, pollution, human rights, endangered species, and generally preserving this planet for posterity. The misguided liberals are confusing tolerance with totalitarianism, being used as pawns, but this is largely due to flabby intellects softened by twenty years in Marxist indoctrination camps before being thrust into HR-enforced diversity-at-gunpoint. I don’t loathe their blind adherence any less, but I am sympathetic, because many on the Right were once there. It’s difficult to break from something if you don’t know there’s an alternative. What concerns me is that this weakness has been cultivated for just too long for it to be reversible. That’s what will make the arrival of the Armada at the gates of Southern California such a crucial moment in our history/future. To cave there, and it really is all over. To show strength, and at the very least we live to fight another day. President Trump must not waver as the President of the Republic in The Camp of the Saints did, because doing so ensured the abject surrender not only of France, but of the entire Western world. Sleep easy, Mr. President, and be lead not into temptation. Commit the immediately painless surrender and die a thousand future deaths, or stand strong and live forever.
“And when the thousand years are ended, Satan will be released from his prison and will come out to deceive the nations that are at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle; their number is like the sand of the sea. And they marched up over the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, but fire came down from heaven and consumed them...” (Revelation 20:7-9)
They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would cease.
“As a general rule, the earlier you recognize someone is trying to kill you, the better off you’ll be.”

U.S. Imported More than 10M Immigrants in Last Decade, Exceeding the Population of NYC

    448

John Moore/Getty Images 20 May 2018Washington, D.C.1,772 The United States has imported more than 10 million legal immigrants in the last ten years, federal data circulated by the White House reveals.

Since 2008, the U.S. has admitted and permanently resettled close to 10.8 million legal immigrants, a foreign population that exceeds the entire population of New York City, New York — where more than 8 million residents live.
Of those roughly 10.8 million legal immigrants resettled across the U.S., the majority derives from the process known as “chain migration,” where newly naturalized citizens are allowed to bring an unlimited number of foreign relatives to the country.
Nearly 7.8 million legal immigrants have been imported to the U.S. through chain migration since 2008.
Another 478,000 legal immigrants have entered the U.S. through the Diversity Visa Lottery program in that same time period. The Visa Lottery randomly gives out 50,000 visas every year to foreign nationals from a multitude of countries, including those with known terrorism problems – such as Afghanistan, Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Trinidad and Tobago, Venezuela, Yemen, and Uzbekistan. Visa Lottery winners have undergone only minor screening from immigration officials, even when their ideology is hostile to Americans laws and culture.
White House officials said the current U.S. legal immigration system “fails to consider the needs of American workers and taxpayers” by inundating the nation with mass immigration every year.
    Officials said:
Census data shows that current U.S. immigration policy admits large numbers of individuals who struggle to become financially independent and instead rely on a vast array of government benefits paid for by U.S. taxpayers. For instance, roughly half of all immigrant-headed households use one or more welfare program. [Emphasis added]
Under our current refugee and asylee programs, the federal government brings in hundreds of thousands of mostly lesser-skilled migrants into the United States, on top of other legal immigration flows, who can quickly become eligible for cash and non-cash federal welfare, federal entitlements, free medical care, education and a host of state and local benefits. [Emphasis added]
As Breitbart News has chronicled, chain migration is expected to add more than 8 million foreign-born voters in the next 20 years, forever changing the electoral landscape of the nation.
Likewise, the Visa Lottery has imported more than 30,000 foreign nationals from terrorist-funding countries since 2007, Breitbart News reported. Last year, it was revealed that 29-year-old Sayfullo Saipov — the man who allegedly mowed down pedestrians in the Tribeca neighborhood of New York City — entered the U.S. in 2010 from Uzbekistan through the Visa Lottery before obtaining a Green Card to permanently stay in the country.
Meanwhile, a majority of American likely voters have continuously told pollsters that they want to see legal immigration reduced to the U.S., including an end to chain migration and the Visa Lottery program.
In the latest poll by the Polling Company, a majority, 52 percent, of swing-voters said they wanted to see chain migration eliminated.
Despite sweeping nationwide support for wage-boosting legal immigration cuts, the Republican establishment has fixated their midterm re-election campaigns on a tax cuts, amnesty, and prison reform agenda driven by the billionaire GOP megadonors, the Koch brothers

Vet says troopers asked to take his guns without a warrant. He didn't let them

Leonard Cottrell Jr. fought on the front lines in the Iraq War. Now, he feels he's fighting the frontlines at home in New Jersey for the right to bear arms.
Cottrell, 40, said he was working at Wawa on June 14 when he got a call from his wife around 9:30 p.m. that two police officers from the New Jersey State Police's Hamilton station were at the doorstep of his Millstone home.
The troopers, who patrol this sprawling Monmouth County township, were there, he said, because his 13-year-old son had made a comment at school about the Millstone Middle School's security, and the officers wanted to confiscate Cottrell's firearms as part of an investigation.
Cottrell, a disabled U.S. Army veteran who served three tours during "Operation Iraqi Freedom," owns a shotgun and a pistol. He has all the correct permits to own the firearms, he said, and predominately uses the shotgun to hunt.
He said his wife allowed the officers to enter the home, and with her permission, they searched his son's room -- but they did not find any weapons, he said. The officers, he said, didn't have a warrant but still wanted to take his guns. Cottrell wouldn't let them.
"No one from the state was going to take my firearms without due process," he said Thursday.

He said the attempted seizure resulted because of a new law Gov. Phil Murphy signed into law that makes it easier for police to confiscate guns when someone in the state poses a threat to themselves or others. The law is part of a broader statewide effort to make New Jersey's gun laws even tougher amid the national outcry for more gun control in the wake of the school shooting in Parkland, Florida.
The U.S. Secret Service said Thursday that schools around the country should establish teams to evaluate potential threats and encourage students to report troubling behavior.
"Snitching is informing on someone for personal gain," the Secret Service said. But students should come forward "when they are worried about a friend who is struggling or when they are trying to keep someone from getting hurt."
Cottrell said the officers "danced around the issue" when he confronted them about the new law.
A New Jersey State Police spokesman declined to answer questions about whether this incident had anything to do with the new gun laws.
In an email, Sgt. First Class Jeff Flynn said, "Troopers responded to Mr. Cottrell's residence in reference to the report of a possible school threat. Based on their investigation, it was determined that Mr. Cottrell's weapons did not need to be seized."

Cottrell said he was able to work out a deal with the officers that he would remove the guns from his house and keep them outside until the investigation concluded.
His son was not allowed to return to school and was barred from attending graduation, he said.
Millstone school officials did not return a request for comment.
"He's upset," Cottrell said of his son. "He didn't do anything wrong, and he doesn't understand why it happened - he was just having a conversation with nothing as far as threats. It shouldn't have blown up the way it did. But he understands it happened, there are consequences and there's fallout from his actions."

US response to 9/11 was 'moment of hypocrisy,' former Obama official running for Congress wrote By Lukas Mikelionis | Fox News

Lauren Baer, a former State Department adviser in the Obama administration, is running for Congress in Florida. She once penned an article claiming the U.S. response to the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks was a “moment of hypocrisy.” (Lauren Baer campaign)

A former Obama administration official running for a U.S. House seat in Florida once penned an article claiming the U.S. response to the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks was a “moment of hypocrisy.”

Lauren Baer, who worked for the State Department under both Hillary Clinton and John Kerry, also criticized the country’s “shameful history” while hoping the attack, which killed nearly 3,000 people, would make America more "humble and humane."
Baer, a Democrat, is now running for Congress in Florida's 18th District against incumbent U.S. Rep. Brian Mast, a Republican. The district is along the state's Atlantic coast, north of Miami.

A pair of Deep Staters; Lauren Baer with former President Barack Obama.

But Baer has not received an endorsement from former President Barack Obama, who has opted against endorsing any Democratic candidates in Florida this year.
Baer’s writings came during her years at Harvard University, when she worked for the Harvard Crimson, a student-run publication. Her column titled “From Hypocrisy to Humanity” appeared Oct. 10, 2001 – just a month after the attacks.
The column by Baer was first reported by the Washington Free Beacon.
“Some people speak of wanting an America to emerge from these events that is stronger and more proud ... I wish to see an America emerge that is humbler and more humane."
    - Lauren Baer
“Some people speak of wanting an America to emerge from these events that is stronger and more proud,” Baer wrote. "I wish to see an America emerge that is humbler and more humane."
She then wrote that America had a “shameful history” when it comes to standing up for its values.
"Everyday the world is plagued by more mundane battles ... These events were just as much an affront to justice as were the events of Sept. 11."
    - Lauren Baer
“At the same time that America calls on the world to ardently preserve our sacred values, it must live up to a shameful history of having so rarely stood up for those values itself,” the now-Democratic candidate wrote.
Baer went on to minimize the significance of terror attacks against the U.S., criticizing those saying the attacks against the U.S. were an “attack on the world.” In her view, “every day the world is plagued by more mundane battles” and those are “just as much an affront to justice as were the events on Sept. 11.”
“By the rhetoric of an attack on American values anywhere being an attack on security everywhere, they should have warranted a meaningful U.S. response,” Baer wrote. “But the U.S. response to these atrocities was meager, if it existed at all.”
The candidate now sees the 9/11 attacks differently, according to a campaign email sent out Tuesday, the 17th anniversary of the attacks.
“I was on the cusp of adulthood, and our country was on the cusp of changes that would define my generation," she wrote in the email, according to the Free Beacon. "We didn't know yet then about how we'd be called to defend American values at home and abroad.

“But we understood, on some deep level, that we would have to come together. We knew that in the face of tragedy, we would have to unite as a community and a country,” she continued.
“On this 9/11, as we remember all those who perished that day, and in the struggle to defend our values that came after, let us all pledge to keep coming together, to keep taking care of each other, and to keep reaching out to our neighbors to make our country stronger.”
They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would cease.
