    Default beans

can beans be eaten if one wants to have a limited sugar diet. I'm just concerned that beans will revert to sugar quickly after eaten

They shouldn't be eaten in excess if you are diabetic. However, they are a great source of fiber and are good for you.

Try working them in to your every day meals. Throw a 1/4 cup of cooked kidney beans on your salad. Add a 1/4 cup to your taco. Add a can of beans to your pot of soup.

Most canned kidney beans have sugar/corn syrup in them, so I wouldn't use them if you're trying to limit your sugar intake. I used to participate in a weight loss class, and I was told that peas count as starch, but beans (dried beans) count as protein.

goya does not. they are more spendy, but if one doesn't want sugar, those are one.

Ok hunybee you're either going to have to drink some more coffee, take something for you're arthritis, or use some kind of translation program.

Cuz as a bona fide eater, I didn't understand a single word of that LOL

    LOL sorry

goya is a brand name of food. they make many things, among them, beans. it is usually found in the ethnic section. they make their kidney beans without sugar, but it is a more expensive brand of beans.
