Healey’s office subpoenaed Exxon as part of a multi-state effort among liberal attorneys general to investigate Exxon for allegedly trying to cover up global warming science. Healey charges that the oil giant lied to shareholders and consumers about the risks of global warming in its communications and shareholder filings, according to a copy of the subpoena obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation.
Healey demands decades worth or records from prominent conservative think tanks, including the Heritage Foundation and activist group Americans for Prosperity, and also from smaller, lesser known state-based right-leaning groups, such as Boston’s Beacon Hill Institute and the Acton Institute.

Broken world syndromeThe latest leftist fad is to tell children that they are oppressed by gender standards.
A child then is assumed to be some sort of genius who can auto-originate wholly new values from scratch. That one has it within oneself to choose at some tender young age what one’s gender is – child as gender philosopher! The kid is expected to newly create his own self without any prior conditioning…
Somehow, any gender standard is unequal and oppressive, but indoctrinating people to believe equality is not also oppressive? Go forth young man and rebel, but only in the prescribed way!
This is the paradox of liberating young minds. If all presumptions are oppressive, then the presumption of liberation must itself be oppressive, and the presumption of choice, and equality, and so on…
Equality is a mass delusion with no basis in reality and no hope of ever being achieved. Which is more oppressive, the reality of inequality, (which can never be changed), or brainwashing children to resent that reality? In my book reality is never wrong and people who resent it are insane.
The basic puritan mentality that infects our entire culture is a hatred of the real. I love the real and look with pity on anyone who can’t stand it. The problem isn’t “out there.” The world is not where it’s at. The problem is “in here.” It is you, and your unwillingness to accept the physical world and its people as is. Your hate has been given to you, it is not your own. The West hates reality, and has taught you to hate it too. Hate nothing liberalism hates. Abandon all delusions. Give up notions of equality, salvation, rising above, ending oppression, social justice, etc. and have serenity. Don’t hate people or reality. Don’t hate inequality. That is their value’s and not your own. Only if you abandon the values of your society you can have peace inside. They are at war with their own imaginary injustices. You don’t have to be.
Nothing rises above itself. That’s a contradiction in terms. Nothing can be saved. Equality is not possible. Oppression will always exist because a liberal will always think it exists. When slavery is no more, micro aggressions will be next. They will always have something to complain about. It’s the only way they can feel important.
People need a broken world so they can delude themselves into thinking they matter enough to fix it.
Western progressiveness believes the world needs saving. Actually, the progressive needs saving from his need to save things. Salvation is megalomania because you presume that you can save it. You can’t. You’re not that important, and that’s okay. Let go. Get the **** over it. Your anger is not your own. You have been indoctrinated by a group of do-gooders in perpetual anguish over reality to also have perpetual anguish.
The world has been saved by every Hitler, Stalin, Jesus, and Mohamed that has lived. The saviors ****ed it up. It doesn’t need any more saving, and certainly not from the likes of you.

Race Hoaxer Sentenced To 90 Days In Jail, Repay $82K In Damages
Examiner:
A Kean University graduate was sentenced to 90 days in prison, followed by five years probation and an agreement to repay more than $80,000 in damages caused by her fake tweets threatening to kill black students.
Kayla McKelvey, an African-American activist who claims she sent the fake tweets to “shine a light on an issue that is important to me,” received the sentence after admitting she left a campus protest last November to create the fake Twitter account and send the messages. She then returned to the protest and told everyone about the alleged threats.
She pleaded guilty to a charge of creating a false public alarm, and will have to repay $82,328 to law enforcement for the investigation of the tweets, which caused a panic on campus. More than half of Kean students missed two or three days of classes due to fears that they would be targeted for violence.
Union County Assistant Prosecutor Shawn Barnes accepted the plea agreement, noting that this past Friday was the first time McKelvey expressed remorse for what she had done. He added that she only sent the threats to increase turnout at her protest.

Via Charleston Post and Courier:A scuffle over Confederate flags Saturday at The Battery landed two tourists in jail.
The S.C. Secessionist Party was putting on its weekly display of Southern flags. A woman walking by broke two small Confederate flags off a parked truck and ran away with them, according to a Charleston police report. Party founder James Bessenger, 27, took off running after her.
A man stepped in front of Bessenger and kept grabbing him so he couldn’t chase the young woman, according to the report. Police were called.
Police identified the woman who broke off the flags as Lydia Folckomer, 22, of Brooklyn, N.Y. She told officers she grabbed the flags because they upset her.
The man who grabbed Bessenger was identified as her father, Paul Folckomer, 50, of Brevard, N.C. He told officers he grabbed Bessenger to keep him from chasing his daughter.
The daughter was charged with malicious injury to real property. Her father was charged with simple assault. They spent the night in jail and were released on bail Sunday afternoon.
The party posted an account of the incident on their Facebook page.
