Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has changed her biography on her campaign website after she was caught making misleading statements about her past.
Ocasio-Cortez’s biography originally stated: “She ended up attending public school 40 minutes north in Yorktown, and much of her life was defined by the 40-minute commute between school and her family in the Bronx.”
Following her win as a Democratic Socialist in the New York’s 14th Congressional District primary race against incumbent Democratic Rep. Joseph Crowley, reports surfaced that contradicted those claims. The Daily Mail reported:

Supposed comedienne Michelle Wolf (yes, the same woman who compared White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders to Aunt Lydia in “The Handmaid’s Tale,” then later doubled down, calling Sanders a “hypocrite” and insulting her “ugly personality”) decided that she’d up the ante, stating on her Netflix show “The Break”: “God bless abortions!”
In a clip for the show that was published on Sunday, Wolf stated, “Look, access to abortion is good and important. Some people say abortion is ‘killing a baby.’ It’s not. It’s stopping a baby from happening. It’s like ‘Back to the Future’ and abortion is the DeLorean. And everyone loves DeLoreans.”

CNN came under fire today for publishing an article that criticizes the U.S. Army — and accidentally using photos of enlisted Marine and Navy recruits to accompany the piece.
The article, titled “Immigrants are increasingly denied entry to the U.S. Army and a path to citizenship,” criticized the army for curtailing a recruitment program intended on expediting citizenship for immigrants who serve. The article states:
Exactly how many foreign recruits have been rejected or discharged is unclear, but a number of them have filed lawsuits around the country to contest the decision. The Pentagon says 10,000 people were initially recruited as part of the Military Accessions Vital to the National Interest (MAVNI) program, designed to bring in talented and specialized recruits who could not only provide essential expertise in foreign campaigns, but also help fill gaps at a time when the US military is struggling to meet recruiting goals.

EXCLUSIVE: There’s No Evidence Nevada Democratic Senate Candidate’s Touted Business Ever Existed

Nevada has no records Rep. Jacky Rosen ever ran a small business in Nevada, despite her repeated claims that she started a consulting firm, according to documents obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation.
Rosen, a Democrat, is challenging Republican Sen. Dean Heller for his seat in the upcoming November election and is considered former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s handpicked successor.
In April, a public records request was filed with the Nevada secretary of state seeking a copy of any “Sole Proprietor Exemption” or “Sole Proprietor Registration” under Rosen or her maiden name between 1995 and 2005.
Less than a week later, a public information officer from the Nevada secretary of state responded in an email that no such records existed. Those registrations are necessary for any business owners in Nevada.
Rosen has routinely flaunted her business credentials, claiming her one-woman shop consulted with her former employer, Southwest Gas, and Radiology Specialists, where her husband was once a partner.
Rosen told a radio station in November that she “raised my family, I built a business – a woman in technology.”
When the Reno Gazette Journal asked her campaign about this discrepancy, a representative said Rosen “did not keep these kinds of forms from roughly two decades ago.”
“Jacky built a career as a computer programmer and software developer for major companies in Southern Nevada, and she used those tech skills to keep working as an independent consultant,” campaign spokesman Stewart Boss said. “Like many moms, she wanted to continue her career in business while also having more flexible hours so she could also focus on raising her daughter.”
Rosen’s campaign did not immediately respond to TheDCNF’s request for comment.
A Chicago native, many in her state know little about Rosen. A July 2016 in the Las Vegas Review-Journal said she struggles with “name recognition” and “remains a political unknown to most Southern Nevadans.” (RELATED: Nevada Congresswoman Jacky Rosen Wins Democratic Senate Nomination)
The Reno Gazette reiterated that point, noting that Rosen is somewhat unknown to political pundits and voters.
Yet other questions about her past demonstrates a woman comfortable with massaging the facts surrounding her credentials — if not outright lying.
In a 2017 interview with C-SPAN, Rosen claimed she received a degree in psychology and “computers.”

“When I was in college in Minnesota, I actually got a degree in psychology and computers. I’m a computer programmer and systems analyst by trade,” Rosen said.
Subsequent articles, like one in The Atlantic from January 2017, cited her supposed computer science degree, as well as her actual degree in psychology, as an example of how she is one of the few congressional representatives with a scientific background.
Yet no such degree yet existed when Rosen was enrolled at the University of Minnesota. The Atlantic had to eventually run a correction.
Polls show that Rosen is considered the narrow favorite in her upcoming Senate bid against incumbent Heller.

In the aftermath of the Parkland school shooting, CNN ran a piece attributing the rise in pro-gun and pro-NRA tweets to Russian bots. And when everyone was waiting for the Nunes memo to become public? Sen. Dianne Feinstein and Rep. Adam Schiff demanded to know if Russian bots were pushing the #ReleaseTheMemo hashtag.
Now, the same mysterious “bipartisan” group that linked those pro-Second Amendment tweets to Russia has both HuffPost and Salon convinced that the #WalkAway hashtag — encouraging fed-up Democrats to leave the party as it moves further and further left toward the edge of the cliff — is also a Kremlin operation.

Progs: Lovers of the Fake

Dear readers, have you ever seen so much FAKE? It is breathtaking in its all encompassing nature. The Fakeness is almost everywhere you care to look.

None of this is new to my five or six faithful readers. They know about the scourge of the Fake. The progs revel in it; in fact, the Fake is essential to the whole prog weltanschauung. As the Beatles would say, "Nothing is real." Well, a couple are, and we'll mention them at the end.

First, let's do a casual walk through the Fake fields of progressivism and examine some of its most prominent fruits.

So hard to pick just a few, there are so many.

In no particular order:

Hate crimes: Almost non-existent in the real America, but not in the Hollywood version that runs through the heads of the typical progs. Nooses on black profs office doors? "N-word" written on dorm doors? Hijabs ripped off innocent girls by nasty white men? Racist notes left black wait staff by nasty white men? So many more of this variety of fake fruit . . . don't get too full on just this one, we got lots more;

Climate change: A biggie this one. So much to gorge on. Weather is not climate, except when it is! It's man-made permanent winter; it's man-made permanent summer; it's man-made drought; it's man-made flooding; it's man-made dearth of hurricanes; no, no it's more hurricanes than ever! No snow! More snow! Fewer sharks! More sharks! Pant. Pant. Please, please go on without me . . .

We now run into fake fruits one after another, too fast to categorize.

Putin-Trump collusion!

Army purging immigrants!

Migrant children ripped away from their "parents"!

Universities are rape farms! Must suspend due process!

The progs love fake NATO! The progs love fake health insurance! Fake borders! "Undocumented" migrants need a pathway to citizenship so they can vote! Citizenship should not be required to vote! Progs love fake African-Americans and fake Native Americans! The progs decree that "hispanics" are a race, except when they do something progs don't like then they are "white hispanics"! Let's have fake women! Let's have fake science say there are no genders! No, no let's have fake science say that there are millions of genders and that we can each choose one! Let's have fake trade deals that wipe out whole chunks of the American working and middle class, all in the name of Gaia and the poor!

Above all, let's have outrage 24/7/365!

A couple of things are not fake, however. The progs love power. All of these fake "crises" and "issues" require intervention by the state to resolve. Guess who controls most of the levers of state power? One guess. As I have written before about progressives and their "targets,"

The idea is to create turmoil, chaos; keep society and its institutions reeling from one punch to the next. The only solution to this turmoil? Why, naturally, more progressive government and regulation.

The other thing that is not fake is the hatred for Donald Trump. He's not fake. In fact, he relishes identifying the progs fakeness. He knows that as they now stand NATO, NAFTA, the EU, the Paris Climate Change Treaty, and the Iran Deal are all fake institutions and agreements meant to cover up the prog drive for power, the drive to disrupt the real world. Trump has the guts to say so. Unforgivable in prog world!

Norris Sweidan owns Warrior One Guns & Ammo and he says Cohen entered his business disguised as a Hungarian immigrant last year.
Fox 11 quotes Sweidan saying, “He comes in, off the bat you can see in the video I’m looking like, this guy does not look like a Hungarian immigrant, tight ass leather pants, a beard, it just didn’t fit. The moment his words came out of his mouth I was like this guy is full of s***.”
