A Georgia restaurant seems to be learning what most of us have known all along—violent criminals not only don’t obey gun laws; they also don’t abide by “No Guns Allowed” signs.
Waffle House has a “no guns” policy, and it is costing one Coweta County, Ga., location dearly. According to local media reports, armed criminals have robbed the Newnan, Ga., Waffle House twice in the last three weeks.
To add insult to injury, two other nearby locations were also targeted by armed robbers just last weekend.
“One has to wonder if it was the big Waffle House sign that drew the crooks to the location or the little sign on the side of the building that told them it was ‘easy pickings’—the no firearms allowed sign,” Jerry Henry, executive director for GeorgiaCarry.org, told Guns.com.
They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would cease.
“As a general rule, the earlier you recognize someone is trying to kill you, the better off you’ll be.”

College Students Destroy Free Speech Wall, Harass Conservative Group
“Tolerant left” at CSU violate freedom of speech
A group of conservative students at Colorado State University set up a “free speech wall” out of boxes to serve as a platform for students of all mindsets to share their opinions.
A crowd of people started to gather as debates began to take place, eventually turning into an all out attack on the wall itself.
In typical SJW fashion, students who were offended by slogans such as “Make America Great Again” and “Free Milo” decided to counteract the whole purpose of the installation by tearing down the box wall and running off.

Fliers Placed at PSU Targeting Three ‘Racist’ Students
Editor’s Note: These three nationalists are heroes. In a healthy society, they would be recognized as such.
Someone has posted fliers around Portland State University accusing three students of being racist, and asking to confront those named students.
Above their pictures, the fliers read “Local racists organizing on your campus…If you see them let them know what you think of their efforts.”
“I have seen the kids on the poster,” said PSU student Liard Wieliczkiewicz.
He said the students are well known around campus for their political views. He said they are outspoken supporters of Donald Trump and have angered many with their portrayal of minorities.
“I won’t go into detail but there were definitely some very racist characters of African Americans,” said Wieliczkiewicz, “and I just don’t appreciate their company.”
This week, the fliers caught the attention of white supremacist and Louisiana politician David Duke.
On Twitter, Duke criticized the people who made the posters, saying the three men were being unfairly attacked.
Contrary to Duke’s tweet, the fliers did not encourage any kind of violence. Still, some students disagreed with the flyer’s tactics.
“I’m not a Trump supporter but I wouldn’t support somebody hounding these people down,” said PSU student Jess Wiercx

    All SA Universities Shut

October 13, 2016 by TNO Staff— in Africa · 15 Comments

Ongoing black “student” violence and rioting has shut all South African universities and it is now doubtful that there will be any 2016 graduates this year. The violence has caused more than R600 million ($44 million) damage to buildings and vehicles so far, and the rioting shows no sign of ending soon.
Black police and black students clash at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg.
The University of the Witwatersrand tried to resume lectures on October 10, but had to call classes off once again after police officers and protestors engaged in violent clashes throughout the campus and the streets outside. The black protesters, whose principle demand is free tuition—despite almost all of them failing their exams—threw rocks at the police, who fired rubber-coated bullets and used tear gas and stun grenades to control the crowds.Such scenes, when they occurred under the previous white-run government of South Africa, were always given great prominence in the controlled media as evidence of “white racism”—but nowadays the media has largely ignored the events which have had a cataclysmic effect on higher education in the country.
A bus burned by rioting “students” in central Johannesburg.
Even when the violence is covered—such as a recent article in Newsweek—the blame for the unrest is still laughably blamed on “inequalities” resulting from white rule, claiming that the “protests highlight an ingrained frustration at enduring inequalities more than two decades after the end of apartheid.”In reality, the cause for the 80 percent increase in university fees in South Africa since 2008 is purely because the country’s economy is collapsing under black rule. READ Extreme Cold Forces Alarmists to Cancel Anti-“Global Warming” Protest

The nation’s currency, the Rand, has crashed on the financial markets, losing more than two-thirds of its value against the dollar in the past five years alone.

In addition, less than 5 percent of the South African labor force pay more than 50 percent of all personal income tax—and these are mostly extracted from the dwindling white population. This means that less than 1.75 percent of the country’s entire population pays more than 50 percent of personal income tax, and a substantial portion of VAT, excise duties, import duties, and the fuel levy.No economy can continue to successfully function on this basis, and as a result, the infrastructure is buckling through a combination of lack of funds and typical Third World neglect.Blacks—some of them not even students—around the country launched fresh demonstrations under the banner #FeesMustFall after South Africa’s minister of higher education Blade Nzimande said on September 19 that universities would be allowed to raise their fees by a maximum of 8 percent. They have been demanding free higher education, a promise made by the African National Congress (ANC) when it came to power in 1994, and similar protests were held in 2015, forcing President Jacob Zuma to freeze planned fee hikes. The extent of the problem for completing academic studies has been admitted by Dr. Max Price, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cape Town, in a letter to students published on the university’s official website.“The suspension of the academic program has understandably caused much anxiety across the University of Cape Town. The executive and I fully understand the damaging impact of not completing the academic year—on students, parents, staff, society, and the university itself.
“We appreciate, in addition, that for final year students and international students the consequences are even more severe. The economic consequences will also be far-reaching,” Price wrote.“Unfortunately this is an unavoidable consequence of the current approach that links the successful completion of the academic year to an engagement process with protest leaders.“We are focusing all of our energy on finding pathways to concluding the 2016 academic year successfully. While there is even a small possibility of breaking the impasse, it is an outcome worth pursuing rather than closing for an extended period, or trying to work in a hostile securitized environment given what is at stake.”
They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would cease.
“As a general rule, the earlier you recognize someone is trying to kill you, the better off you’ll be.”

Watch Leftist Students Say Science Is Racist and Should Be Abolished

University of Cape Town movement says witchcraft is no less valid than Isaac Newton's theory of gravity.

    Robby Soave|Oct. 14, 2016 2:35 pm

Screenshot via UTC Science Faculty / YoutubeStudents at the University of Cape Town in South Africa brought some interesting concerns before the science faculty this week: namely, they think science as it is currently understood must be abolished.
"The whole thing should scratched off, especially in Africa," said one of the students.
The students are apparently known as "fallists." Their hashtag is #ScienceMustFall. You can watch them make their case during a meeting here.

Essentially, these students believe that modern scientific understanding is too Eurocentric. One explained:
"I have a question for all the science people. There is a place in KZN called Umhlab'uyalingana. They believe that through the magic' you call it black magic' they call it witchcraft' you are able to send lightening to strike someone. Can you explain that scientifically because it's something that happens?"
Many people laughed at this remark because, well, witchcraft is not something that happens. But according to the student, witchcraft is like Isaac Newton's theory of gravity—it's just one way of explaining the world, among many.
"Decolonising the science would mean doing away with it entirely and starting all over again to deal with how we respond to the environment and how we understand it," the student continued.
Down with science: coming to an American university near you? It wouldn't surprise me.
Ideally, universities are the perfect vehicle for reforming idiotic views about science. Let's hope Cape Town is up to challenge of explaining why concerns about social justice should not lead students to reject the theory of gravity.

CUNY Prof Accused of Sexual Harassment Because His Syllabus Says Effort Is 10% of Grade

Kneel before the Director of Diversity Investigations and Title IX Enforcement.

    Robby Soave|Oct. 13, 2016 9:14 am

    Gabriel Liendo
A professor at the City University of New York's Brooklyn College was ordered to make changes to his syllabus because it amounted to sexual harassment.

The professor, David Seidemann has refused to comply, and for good reason.
According to Seidemann, a university administrator expressed three grievances about the syllabus. First, and most quizzically, the grading portion of the syllabus suggests sexual harassment. It reads, "Class deportment, effort etc……. 10% (applied only to select students when appropriate)."

That's it. That's sexual harassment, Seidemann's department chair claimed.
Why? No one explained it to him. I gather that the "effort, etc…" was taken the wrong way: a completely unreasonable person could presume Seidemann was suggesting that sexual favors would boost the grades of "select students."
But you would have to be really uncharitable to read it like that. You would have to be looking for a reason to be offended.
Seidemann told me in an email that his department chair said "the 10% section could be construed as a prelude to sexual harassment," and had to be changed at once.
This order apparently came from the Director of Diversity Investigations and Title IX Enforcement. In the course of Seidemann's interactions with the director, he realized something quite stunning: there was no record of anyone actually complaining about the syllabus. The university had apparently launched this investigation on its own.
Seidemann was also initially in trouble for writing in his syllabus, "This classroom is an 'unsafe space' for those uncomfortable with viewpoints with which they may disagree: all constitutionally protected speech is welcome." But the director eventually conceded this was fine.
The bigger issue was triangles. Yes, triangles. Seidemann has a habit of using them instead of quotation marks "when referring to foolish PC terms," he wrote.
"The triangles were the problem," Seidemann said, recalling his department chair's words.
The professor refused to meet with the Director of Diversity Investigations, preferring to talk via email so that the conversation could be documented. This eventually caused the director to abandon the investigation: the matter is now officially closed, according to Seidemann.
The professor is pleased with the result, but little else.
"I got zero information from the college administration about the complaint, investigation, and findings," he said. "CUNY is a First Amendment and due process free zone."
College administrators apparently think Title IX gives them the power to force professors to revise completely harmless provisions in their syllabi.
