California State Assembly To Proclaim August As “Muslim Appreciation And Awareness Month”…

    At CAIR’s behest.
(SACRAMENTO, CA, 7/29/16) – On Monday, August 11, the California chapter of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR-CA) will join Assemblymember Bill Quirk (D-Hayward) in the presentation of House Resolution 59, which recognizes the month of August 2016 as “Muslim Appreciation and Awareness Month.”
“I am proud to celebrate the first ever Muslim Appreciation and Awareness Month by honoring generations of Muslim Americans for their many social, cultural, and economic contributions to California,” Assemblymember Quirk stated. “The rhetoric surrounding this election makes the presentation of this resolution more important for me,” he said. “It is appropriate to acknowledge and promote awareness of the myriad invaluable contributions of Muslim Americans in California and across the country, and extend to them the respect and camaraderie every American deserves.”

California: Man who killed grandparents was influenced by jihadis

August 21, 201612:11 pm By Robert Spencer 20 Comments
From the information available in this account, Nathaniel Scheiern doesn’t appear to be a Muslim, or at least was not known to be one; yet he was “infatuated with and influenced by radical Islamists” to the extent of killing and trying to behead his grandparents after coming home with them from a church service.
Psychopaths who are fascinated by violence and death will naturally be drawn to those who belong to a cult of violence and death, whether or not they actually join it. Jihad murders will spawn copycats.

“Man accused of killing grandparents was influenced by radical Islamists, police say,” by Alene Tchekmedyian, Glendale News-Press, August 17, 2016 (thanks to DC Watson):
A 35-year-old man accused of bludgeoning his foster grandparents to death last year in their Glendale home using an ax and a hammer was held to answer Tuesday to capital murder charges.
After a preliminary hearing that lasted under two hours, a judge ruled there was enough evidence to move forward with a trial against Nathaniel Scheiern, who police said was infatuated with and influenced by radical Islamists when he attacked his grandparents after attending church with them one weeknight in June of last year.
His public defender, Christina Behle, declined to comment on the case, but suggested during cross-examination of a detective that her client had been molested by his grandfather at a young age. Police called the allegations “unfounded.”
The homicide investigation began on the morning of June 28 of last year, when Scheiern’s sister called and asked Glendale police to check the well-being of her grandparents, who lived with Scheiern in a single-family home in the 600 block of Alexander Street.
When the first officer — one of four who testified Tuesday — arrived at the home, he found the front door ajar and several newspapers stacked on the porch. A foul order emanated from inside, where in a bedroom, the carpet and walls were covered in dried blood.
Investigators found two decomposing bodies under a blanket on a twin-sized bed in that room. They were later identified as William and Verna Scheiern, 77 and 82 years old, respectively.
On the floor a few feet away, police found a bloodied hammer. Against a wall in the living room, they found an ax, with dried blood on the head and handle.
That day, police tracked down Nathaniel Scheiern to the Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital emergency room, where he was being treated for injuries after a car crash on June 25, the day after the killings.
When he was released from the hospital a few days later, he was arrested on suspicion of murder.
During an interview with detectives at the Glendale police station that day, Nathaniel Scheiern confessed to killing his grandparents and trying to behead them after they’d attended an event at Calvary Bible Church, Glendale Police Det. Jeff Davis testified. The elderly couple frequented the church about twice a week….
They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would cease.

    • Fed. Warrant Issued For District Attorney Involved In DEA’s California Wiretap Warrant Mill

Wiretap applications' reach frequently exceeded their jurisdictional grasp...

    Tim Cushing | Tech Dirt - August 25, 2016 5 Comments

Former Riverside District Attorney Paul Zellerbach is in trouble, as Brad Heath and Brett Kelman report for The Desert Sun.
A judge issued an arrest warrant Tuesday for former Riverside County District Attorney Paul Zellerbach after he failed to appear at a court hearing to answer questions about an eavesdropping operation so vast it once accounted for nearly a fifth of all U.S. wiretaps.
    […]

“He should have been there,” said Jan Ronis, the attorney who subpoenaed Zellerbach. “But he just blew us off. We could have had court today.”
It’s not uncommon for Zellerbach to go missing when people need him. When Zellerbach ran the DA’s office, he was rarely there. The DEA found his office to be just as accommodating, with or without him, though. Although the DEA was supposed to run its wiretap warrant requests through federal judges and have them signed by the district attorney himself, it often found it easier to obtain a signature from whoever happened to be at the office and run them by Riverside County judge Helios Hernandez, who approved five times as many wiretap applications as any other judge in the US.
The wiretap applications’ reach frequently exceeded their jurisdictional grasp, traveling far outside of Riverside County, California, to be deployed against suspects as far away as North Carolina. But that was only one issue with the warrants applications approved by Zellerbach’s office.
The DOJ’s lawyers didn’t like the DEA’s skirting of federal rules for wiretap applications.

“It was made very clear to the agents that if you’re going to go the state route, then best wishes, good luck and all that, but that case isn’t coming to federal court,” a former Justice Department lawyer said.“They’d want to bring these cases into the U.S. Attorney’s Office, and the feds would tell them no (expletive) way,” a former Justice Department official said.
California’s wiretap laws weren’t being followed either, thanks to Zellerbach holding office in absentia.
Riverside County’s former district attorney, Paul Zellerbach, has acknowledged that he allowed lower-level lawyers to do that job, saying he could not recall ever having reviewed a wiretap application himself. Four of the wiretaps in the Kentucky case were approved by one of Zellerbach’s assistants, and one was approved by an assistant to his successor.
Now, the DEA’s toxic and possibly illegal wiretap warrants are being challenged, now that defense lawyers know exactly how much — and how often — state and federal requirements were being skirted by the drug warriors. That’s what has led to Zellerbach’s arrest warrant.

The first challenge, filed in Kentucky, led a federal judge to say that Riverside had issued so many wiretaps “that constitutional requirements cannot have been met.” The second challenge, filed locally, led to the warrant being issued for Zellerbach.
Zellerbach was subpoenaed to appear in the case of Christian Agraz, 33, an accused drug trafficker who was allegedly caught on a wiretap selling bricks of heroin in 2014.The former DA did not appear at the hearing in the Agraz case on Tuesday morning, so Judge Michele Levine issued a bench warrant and assigned a bail of $1,500.
The constitutional requirements say Zellerbach was supposed to sign each wiretap applicationpersonally. Paul Zellerbach can’t recall approving a single one of the hundreds that flowed through his office over the years. The DEA’s Riverside County-centric drug war looks like it’s going to result in several cases being tossed out. Fortunately, the DEA still can keep everything it’s claimed via civil asset forfeiture, which makes good busts out of bad ones and makes obtaining convictions entirely optional.
They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would cease.

Imam’s Son Recruited Muslims to CHAINSAW CHRISTIANS at Mall

Son of an imam — there it is, the whole of the problem.
And President Obama is bringing in these holy men and any opposition to this invasion of savages is islamofauxbic.

Nine Teens Cut in Half with Chainsaw by Caliphate

Son of extremist imam arrested over ISIS terror plot to attack Christians in a shopping centre with chainsaws,” By Sam Webb, The Sun, September 7, 2016 (thank to Religion of Peace):
The teenager, who cannot be named, told cops about the sickening plot after he was arrested
ISIS planned to use chainsaws to murder Christians in a shopping centre, according to the son of a radical imam.
The teenager, who cannot be named, told cops about the sickening plot when he was arrested after he was allegedly spotted in a video walking down a street and calling in Arabic for the murder of Christians.
The youngster is the son of radical imam Shayh Alami from the eastern Belgian city of Verviers – described by Belgian media as “one of the most important breeding grounds for Islamists in Belgium”.
In the short video which was published by Arabic-language media watchdog MEMRI, the young man can be seen walking in the streets of the city of Verviers in Eastern Belgium. He curses Christians and prays for their annihilation.
He reportedly admitted to police during questioning that the murderous terror group is recruiting people to carry out an attack in a shopping centre with a chainsaw.
The youngster is the son of radical imam Shayh Alami, Belgian media reports (Photo: CEN)The imam’s son said that two of those planned attacks involved a chainsaw massacre at a shopping centre, while in another terror plot an Imam was targeted because he was ‘not radical enough’.
Shayh Alami has been a thorn in the side of Belgian authorities for years, who have so far unsuccessfully tried to deport him.
Theo Francken, the Belgian Secretary of State for Asylum and Migration, is trying to deport the imam and has started to look at possibilities to deport his son as well.
rancken said: “I already signed the order to remove the Imam from Belgian soil. But he appealed the decision, so I can only hope for a quick sentence.
“Clearly radicalism runs in the family.”
Belgian newspaper “La Derniere Heure” reported that over the summer the young man confessed to investigators that ISIS are recruiting lone wolves in Belgium.
He allegedly said that jihadists who went to Syria were trying to convince those who stayed at home to launch terror attacks.
ISIS executioners reportedly used a chainsaw to slice nine youths in half in a gruesome public execution earlier this month.

A source told Iraqi News : “ISIS fighters have executed nine youths of Mosul. The outfit accused that these youths belonged to an anti-ISIS resistance faction
“The death sentence pronounced by ISIS sharia court stated that the men should be tied to an iron pole in the center of Tal Afar Square in Mosul and then sliced into two with an electric chainsaw.”
The lawyer of the youngster noted that the man himself it not a suspect in those terror plots.
According to local media, investigators searching the house of the boy who filmed him found a video message by one of IS’ leaders. In the video, the IS bigwig was calling for would-be terrorists to perpetrate attacks and to send him video messages.
The once well-off industrial city of Verviers in the Walloon region of Belgium has been in sharp decline over the last few decades and is currently one of the poorest cities in the country.
A number of anti-terror operations have recently taken place there

Gov Moonbeam Vetoes Bill That Would Have Cut Taxes On Diapers And Tampons…

    War on women.
    Via LA Times:
Consumers in California will still pay sales taxes on diapers and tampons after Gov. Jerry Brown on Tuesday vetoed a series of bills that would have created or expanded tax breaks, citing their costs.
“Tax breaks are the same as new spending,” Brown said in his veto message for the bills.
This year, governors in states including Illinois and New York signed legislation to repeal sales taxes on tampons through a nationwide campaign that has argued the tax penalizes women because other necessities are tax-free.
Assemblywoman Cristina Garcia (D-Bell Gardens), author of the tampon tax bill, tweeted a harsh criticism of the governor:

Four arrested after EDH home invasions

By Amanda Williams From page A1 | September 14, 2016

El Dorado County sheriff’s deputies arrested four men suspected in two home invasion robberies and at least one attempted home invasion in El Dorado Hills Sunday.
On Sept. 11 the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Dispatch Center received reports of incidents on Northam Place (the attempted, but unsuccessful robbery) and Lago Vista Drive and Ventura Court (where the break-ins occurred), all happening within a 40-minute time span in the different El Dorado Hills communities.
Two victims told deputies that four men, who were wearing masks and hooded sweatshirts in attempts to conceal their identities, forced entry into their homes and held them at gunpoint, according to sheriff’s Sgt. Tasha Thompson. Items stolen included wallets, cell phones and jewelry.
A would-be victim reported that the four masked men attempted to break into his residence but were unsuccessful and confirmed that the suspects were carrying firearms.
Deputies began searching for the suspects and pulled over a Dodge Durango carrying four men in a commercial area in El Dorado Hills. During the investigation they reportedly found the men in possession of various masks, gloves, backpacks and handguns inside the vehicle.
Brandon Waters, 20, Walter McGee, 20, Derrick Fields, 19, and Ezekiel Caesar, 19, were arrested on suspicion of robbery and booked into the El Dorado County Jail in Placerville. At press time they remained in custody, each in lieu of $600,000 bail.
“If anyone has any information that may assist with the investigation we encourage them to contact Det. J. Robertson at (530) 642-4722. There is a possibility the suspects may have entered an additional residence but the homeowner may not have been home at the time. We would like to identify that residence and who resides there,” Thompson said.

San Francisco Teachers' Union Offers Sick Anti-Trump Propaganda as Lesson Plan

Left-wing indoctrination in the public schools has been a problem for decades and it's getting worse. Remember the early days of the Obama administration when liberal teachers literally had their students singing songs of homage to our historic new president? Creepy and alarming videos kept emerging online showing kids praising President Obama as if he were some sort of deity.
In February of 2009, for instance, children in one class were taught "The Obama Song," featuring the following lines: "Obama is the President! First African America in history 44th president of the United States! The ground has shifted, the world has changed! Oooo I’m a proud American Oooo yes yes yes yes YES WE CAN!"
And who can forget the infamous "Mmm mmm mmm!" song, which seemed to be loosely based on "Jesus Loves the Little Children," but substituted Jesus with Obama.

I only mention this because in the wake of the 2016 election, liberal teachers are at it again. Only this time, instead of laudatory songs that praise the new president, a sick new anti-Trump lesson plan that demonizes President-elect Trump and his supporters has already been offered to teachers in the San Francisco area. High school social studies teacher Fakhra Shah apparently drew up the lesson plan in a fit of spite and rage in the wee hours of the morning of November 9, right after Trump was elected. The school district reportedly has no problem with the plan, which characterizes the new president and his supporters as racist and sexist bigots.

San Francisco's public schools have been offered a classroom lesson plan that calls President-elect Donald Trump a racist, sexist man who became president "by pandering to a huge racist and sexist base."
The union that represents city teachers posted the plan on its website and distributed it via an email newsletter to its more than 6,000 members. The school district has more than 57,000 students.
It is unclear how many teachers have used the plan, outlined by a Mission High School teacher, but it appears to have the tacit support of city education officials.
School district spokeswoman Gentle Blythe said the plan is optional and not part of the official curriculum.
"Educators are entrusted to create lessons that reflect the California standards, support students' social and emotional well-being and foster inclusive and safe school communities," she said in a statement that neither praised nor rebuked the lesson plan. San Francisco schools serve diverse populations and teachers are encouraged to include multiple perspectives in lessons, she said.
The Republican Party in San Francisco reacted sharply.
"It's inappropriate on every level," said Harmeet Dhillon, a Republican National Committee member from California. She called it "inappropriate propaganda that unfairly demonizes not only the campaign that Donald Trump, the winner, ran but also all of the people who voted for him."
The lesson plan was written by social studies teacher Fakhra Shah, who said she hadn't planned for it to spread citywide — that was a step taken by the teachers' union. She wrote it at 2 a.m. Nov. 9, just hours after news networks declared Trump had won, to help teachers at her school struggling with how to answer students' questions and concerns about his becoming president.
"I think a lot of people were lost for words, wondering, 'What do we say? What do we do?' " said Shah, whose Latino, African American, white, Muslim and LGBTQ students are worried about a surge in hate crimes since the election.
"We're calling him out," she said. "If he's our president, I have the right to hold him accountable and ask him to take a stance that is anti-hate and anti-racist."

Shah warned teachers that some students may lash out at the new president using foul and obscene language. She even encouraged this because it is how kids living under white supremacy lift themselves up and fight oppression at school. Or something.
"I know that they might curse and swear, but you would too if you have suffered under the constructs of white supremacy or experienced sexism, or any isms or lack of privilege," she wrote.
This is not "empowering" or "uplifting." It is seriously deranged and destructive. The songs of Obama praise were disturbing and inappropriate, but this kind of propaganda is just plain evil. Instead of helping students deal with an election that maybe didn't go the way they wanted, they are encouraging them to wallow in anger and self-pity and branding over 60 million Americans as racist and sexist bigots.
A KPIX reporter asked Shah if there are "safe spaces" for students whose parents may have voted for Trump. "They absolutely will be given safe space," she answered. "They'll be asked to explain, 'how is he not racist?'" she added.

    Trump Wins, Parents Panic

So -- not actually a safe space at all. Kids are sent to school to receive a basic education and learn how to think critically, not to be forced to defend how their parents voted in a contentious election in a hostile environment where they have already been branded as racists. That, it seems to me, is the exact opposite of a "safe space."

Forget the dams, forget the spillways, forget about the infrastrcuture Californians. Your state politicians love identity politics more than you or any other common hardworking America, That’s one of the reason why they lost so bad in the elections. You would think they would start passing some common sense pieces of legislation right? Nope. Common sense has no business in the state of California.
State Sen. Toni Atkins, a Democrat from San Diego, said Tuesday that her bill, SB310, would let state prison inmates apply for legal name changes without first getting approval from several state correctional officials.
Her bill would also apply to inmates in county jails.

Senator Atkins thought this would be the best way the the state of California should spend the tax dollars of hardworking Californians. it’s safe to assume her brilliant idea came about after she saw the transgender inmate .Shiloh Quine become the first U.S. inmate to have state-paid sex-reassignment surgery.
Atkin’s bill would give inmates the same right to seek the legal changes as those who aren’t incarcerated. She says it would improve inmates’ chances of being rehabilitated.
Liberal logic at its finest. Its no wonder the top ten poorest cities in America have been run by democrats for the past several decades. Its no wonder California’s infrastructure is busting at the seams. Because of faulty leadership, and thats an understatement

Citizen journalists have captured stunning images and video of homeless encampments that are spiraling out of control in the shadows of Disneyland and Anaheim Stadium in California.

The tent city has recently sprung up along the Santa Ana riverbed, near a busy convergence of three major California highways known as the “Orange Crush,” at the border of Anaheim and Santa Ana, the latter a “sanctuary city.”
Homeless activists estimate that as many as 1,000 people are camped in the region.

Locals have become increasingly alarmed by the rapid spread of unregulated squatters and their belongings – and their waste.
“As a cyclist who uses the trail to ride to the beach often, over this last year it has gotten substantially worse,” an Orange Co. resident told Infowars. “It is unsafe and unsanitary with loose dogs everywhere and human fecal matter scattered on the trail.”
“The area is disgusting and reeks of trash and feces.”
He reports that the bike trail, once popular with outdoors enthusiasts and families which runs for miles to beaches along the Pacific Ocean, has become unsafe as miscreants plot assaults and robberies on passing riders, even laying tripwires across the path.

County and city officials are well-aware of the unfolding crisis, but seem to be turning a blind eye.
A lawsuit filed by the ACLU claims that local police in multiple cities have made it policy to advise homeless to move to the riverbed region to avoid citation or arrest.
The suit, which claimed that Orange Co. was ‘unconstitutionally imprisoning’ the homeless when they attempted to erect fences as part of an on-going flood prevention project, provides a look at how groups like the ACLU are contributing to the banana republicization of California and the nation at large.
First Defendants and other law enforcement agencies direct individuals to the Santa Ana Riverbed, then they falsely imprison them by literally building fences around them that make it impossible for them to leave…such a Kafkaesque system cannot stand and is not lawful,” read the suit.
A settlement was reached shortly after, leaving taxpayers on the hook for the ACLU attorney fees.

Governor Jerry Brown and his coterie of fellow travelers invest over $25 billion per year in illegal immigrants, the Washington Times reports.
Ballot Pedia reports that, “Between fiscal years 2014 and 2015, total government spending in California increased by approximately $41.7 billion—from $210.9 billion in fiscal year 2014 to an estimated $252.6 billion in 2015.” And estimates for Brown’s on-going pet project, the “bullet train to nowhere,” are pushing $100 billion.
As Democrats move towards official “sanctuary state” status and #CalExit, California is coming apart at the seams, structurally, financially and culturally due to socialist policies that have degraded the once-great state for decades – the same kinds of policies that Barack Obama and his failed successor, Hillary Clinton, have worked to implement at the federal level in an effort to turn the entire country into one giant California.
“As California goes, so goes the nation…”
