    Africans Brawl in Melbourne, Sydney

March 13, 2016 by TNO Staff— in Australia · 29 Comments

The city centers of Melbourne and Sydney, Australia, were last night turned into battlefields as gangs of nonwhites—Africans and Pacific Islanders—fought running battles with each other and the police in what one news outlet described as “mayhem on the streets. The violence in Melbourne took place during the city’s famous Moomba Festival, which is normally a family-oriented affair, consisting of fun fairs, live music, eating, and merriment.
The city has of late seen a huge influx of African invaders, particularly from the Sudan, and they have organized themselves into several street gangs, bringing drugs, violence, and crime onto the formerly safe streets. The Sudanese gang involved in last night’s mayhem was named by police as the “Apex.” This gang had sought out battle with a Pacific Islander gang named “Islanders 23” during the festival—and online before the event started.Armed with knives and guns, about two hundred members of the Apex and Islander 23 gangs were heard chanting “f**k the police” before launching an all-out brawl that turned Federation Square and Swanston Street into a riot zone.According to reports, police used batons and pepper spray to break up the nonwhite gangs as they punched and beat each other with the weapons they had brought along specifically for the clash. Their violent feud broke out at around 8 p.m. and shut down parts of the central business district and the tramline for up to two hours.Terrified Moomba Festival-goers were forced to take cover as the nonwhites assaulted police and bystanders on the corner of Swanston and Flinders streets.READ Muslims Pouring into America in Green Card Storm

“Chairs were picked up and chairs were thrown from these gangs of people—there was glass being thrown; it was scary,” one witness told the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC).
A number of people were treated for injuries in the city and taken to the hospital after the clash, Ambulance Victoria confirmed.Police said they were investigating “a series of affrays” in Federation Square and surrounding areas, along with reports of four robberies and an assault which resulted in a man being rushed to the hospital. In Sydney, another group of Africans—unconnected to the ones rioting in Melbourne—started a mass brawl outside the Metro Theatre well past midnight. The fighting spread into the surrounding streets and took police from three different stations an hour to disperse.Sydney police inspector Stuart Leggat was quoted by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation as saying that the violence had stemmed from “a group of people from a particular ethnic background and they were arguing with one another and jostling one another….”
Two nonwhites, aged 24 and 18, were arrested and taken to Kings Cross Police Station where they were expected to be charged with assaulting police and resisting arrest. The Apex gang has been getting increasingly violent as African numbers in Melbourne have grown, and in November last year, police in the city set up a special unit known as “Taskforce Tense” to monitor the nonwhites.
The Chief Commissioner of Victoria Police, Graham Ashton, told ABC that in light of the night’s violence, the task force “would now be given extra resources” because the “levels of violence exhibited by this group was an increase and escalation of violence that concerns us greatly.”READ Australia: Invaders Riot on Christmas Island

The Apex gang of nonwhites is best known for violent car thefts across Melbourne’s southeast suburbs. Earlier this year, one of its young members threatened to walk into a Melbourne police station and shoot an officer.

The 14-year-old daughter of Australian terrorist Khaled Sharrouf has dismissed claims that he may still be alive and spoken about the 'stress' of living in the Islamic State stronghold in Syria.
Former Sydney schoolgirl Zaynab Sharrouf, who gave birth to baby Ayesha three months ago, has been left an orphan and widow after the death of her parents and jihadi husband Mohamed Elomar.
She ended speculation that her extremist father, who was reportedly killed in drone strikes in Iraq last year, was still alive, saying: 'We know for sure that he's dead'.
The child bride also revealed how she and her four younger siblings have been left to fend for themselves and are living in constant fear following the death of their mother Tara Nettleton.

Australia: Muslim cleric threatens violence if headscarf laws not changed

March 28, 201610:22 am By Robert Spencer 1 Comment
“If government laws do not prevent such assaults, then I fear that a day will come where the Muslim community might take matters into their own hands to protect their women and mothers. It is actions like these, and non-strategic rulings that could spark a reaction from the affected families that will result in violence.” He is saying that Muslims must have laws to their liking or they will take the law into their own hands. There will be much, much more of this, in Australia and elsewhere.

“Australian Muslims may resort to violence if headscarf laws not changed, SA imam says,” ABC.net.au, March 22, 2016:
The founder of the fledgling Islamic Association of South Australia (IASA) has warned a lack of tolerance could spark violence, after a man who allegedly grabbed a woman’s headscarf was released on bail.
The imam of IASA, who goes by the name Shaikh M Tawhidi, today released a statement saying he feared a day “where the Muslim community might take matters into their own hands to protect their women and mothers”.
SA Police today arrested and charged a 27-year-old man from Kilburn in Adelaide’s inner-north with assault and offensive behaviour on a passenger vehicle.
They alleged he grabbed a young woman’s headscarf as she got on a bus at Churchill Road on March 16 and intimidated her for the rest of the bus journey into the city.
Police said the woman was not physically injured and the man was bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on April 18.
Mr Tawhidi said imams were striving “hard to reform the Muslim community of SA into a tolerant community”.
He said the alleged incident on the bus had provoked him to make a statement, warning the Australian Government to review its laws on headscarves.
“Kilburn, Prospect and surrounding areas have a large Muslim population,” said the imam, who arrived in South Australia recently.
“If government laws do not prevent such assaults, then I fear that a day will come where the Muslim community might take matters into their own hands to protect their women and mothers.
“It is actions like these, and non-strategic rulings that could spark a reaction from the affected families that will result in violence.”
Mr Tawhidi founded the association this year and its membership is unknown.. [sic]
A spokesperson for the SA Government said all citizens who were victims of assault “should expect that the perpetrator be punished according to the law”.
“The Government does not condone people taking the law into their own hands,” he said.
They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would cease.
“As a general rule, the earlier you recognize someone is trying to kill you, the better off you’ll be.”

    Australian Compliance

Posted on April 1, 2016 by Joe
If a politician advocates for the “Australian Model of gun control” be sure to inform everyone of the “Australian Compliance Model of gun control”:

In Australia, part of the supply of banned firearms comes from defiance of the original prohibition. The Sporting Shooters’ Association of Australia estimates compliance with the “buyback” at 19 percent. Other researchers agree. In a white paper on the results of gun control efforts around the world, Franz Csaszar, a professor of criminology at the University of Vienna, Austria, gives examples of large-scale non-compliance with the ban. He points out, “In Australia it is estimated that only about 20% of all banned self-loading rifles have been given up to the authorities.”
You might also speculate that would be an upper bound for the U.S. and that U.S. gun owners might not be nearly as “polite” about it as the Aussies.

How long will the Aussies put up with this garbage? Some of them are pretty tough. They could easily give the gangs a run for their money.

Imams Sent From Egypt to New Zealand to ‘Foil Radicals’
International relations expert Paul Buchanan described the move as “perplexing”. There may be “one or two hotheads” in Kiwi mosques, but radicalisation was not a widespread problem. The imams would be of more value across the Tasman.
“Australia has a radicalisation problem, we do not.”
Egypt had also had little success combating extremism at home, so he was not sure what they expected to achieve here. They might be interested in countering the influence of Wahhabism — an ultra-conservative Sunni Muslim sect — in NZ, he said.
The imams could also be New Zealand-bound as part of an as-yet-unannounced trade deal, with their work aimed at “softening” the inevitable views from opposition parties to any deal with Egypt, he said.
“Otherwise [the Government] opens itself up to the charge that New Zealand is cosying up to a dictatorship,” Mr Buchanan said.
He doubted the gesture came without some kind of ulterior motive.
“There’s always more than meets the eye … why Egypt would choose New Zealand to export its anti-radicalisation views, you don’t have to be an international relations expert to see that’s unusual.”
[I suspect this item has not reached the rest of the world, but specially-trained imams being put into mosques to ‘foil radicals’ does not have much of a ring of truth to it. A cynic might think this quote provides the real, alarming explanation: “Australia has a radicalisation problem, we do not.” — JM

Australia: Muslim teen arrested for jihad plot was in “deradicalization” program

April 28, 201612:01 am By Robert Spencer 14 Comments
“In the boy’s case, he was reportedly given a gym membership, given religious guidance and had regular visits and phone calls from community contact police.” What? He got a gym membership and he still tried to wage jihad against Infidels? Doesn’t he know that the Qur’an says to wage war against and subjugate non-Muslims, unless they give you a gym membership?
(Note for the incurably literal-minded: it doesn’t really say that.)

“Boy, 16, arrested over ‘Anzac Day terror plot’ was in deradicalisation program,” by Rachel Olding, Sydney Morning Herald, April 26, 2016:
A 16-year-old boy arrested over an alleged Anzac Day terrorism plot had been in a government-run deradicalisation program for about a year.
The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, chose not to appear in Parramatta Children’s Court on Tuesday for a brief mention two days after his arrest.
His lawyer, Zemarai Khatiz, entered a not guilty plea to one charge of doing an act in preparation or planning for a terrorist act, an offence that carries a maximum sentence of life in prison.
Zemarai Khatiz, the lawyer for the 16-year-old terrorist suspect.

Mr Khatiz said a psychologist with more than 38 years’ experience would assess the boy in prison this week to support an application for bail on Friday.
The boy was arrested near his Auburn home Sunday afternoon, just hours after police allegedly intercepted an online chat he was having with a man overseas in which he mentioned trying to obtain a firearm and targeting an Anzac Day event on Monday.
He was not considered a “prime target” for counter-terrorism officers but had been on their radar for about a year.
The boy’s father was interviewed anonymously by The Australian in December about a deradicalisation program in which his son had been placed after extremists allegedly tried to involve him in a foiled plot in May last year.
He said his son was bullied at school and spent a lot of time in his room. However, he spoke about the dramatic progress the boy had made after ASIO and the police intervened, including the boy starting an electrician’s apprenticeship and going to English-language sermons at a mosque with his father.
“[It is] the worst thing, but also the best thing … because, potentially, it enabled him to come out of that shell, or wherever he was, and see that he could get it out,” the father said of the program.
The article lauded the government’s National Disruption Group, a $15 million inter-agency taskforce set up by the federal government and led by the Australian Federal Police.
Authorities can refer potential extremists to the diversionary program, and a suite of agencies come up with a tailored program for the individual.
In the boy’s case, he was reportedly given a gym membership, given religious guidance and had regular visits and phone calls from community contact police….

Australia: Barriers installed to shield synagogues against jihad terror attacks

May 2, 201610:54 am By Robert Spencer 11 Comments
“You will surely find the most intense of the people in animosity toward the believers to be the Jews…” (Qur’an 5:82). In practice, this generally works in reverse: the most intense of the people in animosity toward the Jews are Muslims.

“Water-filled barriers installed to shield Sydney synagogues against terror attacks,” by Nick Hansen, Daily Telegraph, May 1, 2016:
WATER-FILLED barriers are being installed to guard against terror attacks at four synagogues in the eastern suburbs during the Jewish High Holy Days.
The security arm of the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies said in a letter, “the threat of terrorism and racial vilification against Jewish Communities around the world is well established”.
“A car containing explosives which attempts to ram (or to park outside) the installation will be stopped at the barriers,” the letter said.
Woollahra Council renewed its approval for the barriers and a series of no-stopping zones outside the synagogues on Monday.
In considering the measures, council staff referred to the letter submitted by the board when it last sought approval in 2010.
The letter cited a car-bomb attack on a New York synagogue by a radicalised Muslim group in 2009 to support the application.
“Since September 11, numerous Jewish communities have been the target of successful terrorist attacks … most recently the attacks planned against a synagogue in The Bronx,” it reads.
“Correctly positioned barriers can absorb much of the force of a blast and the distance from the target will reduce the impact of the blast.”
The measures will be used at the Old South Head Synagogue, Rose Bay, Emmanuel and Sephardi synagogues in Woollahra and the Chabad Synagogue at Double Bay from September 29 to October 26 this year and again in 2017 and 2018….

A ROCKHAMPTON man was decapitated by a workmate from a local meatworks, police will allege.
Syeid Alam, 33, was found dead at a creek off Fitzroy River in Rockhampton on April 16, 10 days after he was last seen.
Police today charged his colleague, Mohammed Khan, with his murder and interfering with a corpse and he was to appear at Rockhampton Magistrates Court at 2pm.
Detective Inspector Darrin Shadlow revealed Mr Alam was the victim of a brutal decapitation. Both men worked at a local meatworks.
“They were associates. It wasn’t a random attack. There is certainly not a threat to the community,” he said.
