Obama dances while Brussels burns: President and Michelle take to the floor to TANGO during glitzy state dinner in Buenos Aires as he ignores calls to come home in wake of terror attacks

24/03/16 15:47
Obama was pictured strutting his stuff on the dance floor in Buenos Aires, Argentina, this evening as he continued with a two-day trip to the country despite calls to return home. The President was attending a state dinner with wife Michelle (inset) alongside Argentine President Mauricio Macri and first lady Juliana Awada as part of a trade mission. Obama has called for calm in the wake of the Brussels terror attack which killed at least 34 people on Tuesday, saying that reacting with fear is simply playing into the hands of terrorists. Critics including Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, John Kasich and former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani have ripped into Obama's stance, however, and accuse him of ignoring the threat that America faces. ...read

Sorry, Mr.Obama, The Jokes Aren't Funny Anymore

On March 12, The New York Times turned the clock back five years to an overlooked moment that may have been the beginning of Donald Trump's bid for the White House. It was the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner, the annual event that reminds regular Americans just how cozy the press is with the government it's supposed to cover in an adversarial manner. In 2011, many of the journalists in the room were still star-struck, still convinced that President Barack Obama was the transformative figure who'd end political divisiveness and usher in the era of Hope and Change.
Wearing a bow tie and a mischievous grin, Obama took a warm-up dig at Mitt Romney -- his eventual opponent in the 2012 race -- before spending the next four minutes mocking Donald Trump, who was sitting in the audience.
"Say what you will about Mr. Trump," Obama said, "he certainly would bring some change to the White House."
Then the president pointed toward a projector screen, showing a crudely Photoshopped White House with a garish vertical extension topped by Trump's name and bright purple neon. That joke followed earlier jabs about Trump's "birther" skepticism.
"No one is happier, no one is prouder to put this birth certificate matter to rest than The Donald," Obama said, "and that's because he can finally get back to focusing on the issues that matter, like, 'Did we fake the moon landing?' 'What really happened in Roswell?' And 'Where are Biggie and Tupac?'"
The journalists in the room laughed as if Obama were Louis CK, and Trump smiled and waved as the crowd looked for a reaction.
As the Times notes, Obama is still laughing, and still taking digs at the Republican front-runner. But as Trump stands on the verge of a major party nomination for the presidency, his campaign is no longer the joke most people thought it was. Obama himself might be the one responsible for turning the idea of a Trump presidency from a joke to a serious goal for the real estate magnate, who by all accounts craves approval and credibility.
Obama might be the last person snickering, and that's probably not going to do him -- or Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton -- any favors if the president hits the campaign trail as often for Hillary as he says he will.
Indeed, Obama seems to enjoy belittling Republican rhetoric on national security and terrorism, which is not a good look for him on days like today, when the Islamic State reminded the world it can still strike prime civilian targets with impunity. The March 22 attacks proved ISIS hasn't been crippled by renewed vigilance, not when the fundamentalist group can hit an airport and a subway station in one of Europe's major capitals.
If Obama keeps on joking, he runs the risk of hurting the eventual Democratic nominee more than helping. It's not far-fetched to imagine campaign ads tying Clinton to Obama, with a voiceover of the latter making jokes about terrorism over footage of blood-soaked women and children stumbling out of ruined airport terminals.
The decision-makers and strategists who run the Democratic party should remind Obama that he's the president, not a comedian. The time for joking is over.
They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would cease.

The Innocence of Barack Hussein Obama

Posted on March 23, 2016 by Baron Bodissey

Before I get into tonight’s main topic, two things need to be said:

1. There is no way to determine whether Barack Obama is a Muslim. At least not yet.
2. What difference, at this point, does it make?
As has often been noted, whenever President Obama enacts policies that affects Muslims, his decisions always favor Muslims. Always.
So, for all practical purposes, we may consider him a Muslim.
And every now and then he does or says something that functions as what the defense policy analysts might call an “indicator”. One such tell emerged yesterday when Mr. Obama voiced his thoughts about the terror attacks in Brussels:
“The thoughts and prayers of the American people are with the people of Belgium and we stand in solidarity with them in condemning these outrageous attacks against innocent people,” Obama said.
For those who follow the Great Jihad closely, one word in that sentence leaps out: innocent. Why “innocent”? It’s a peculiar turn of phrase, if you think about it. A political leader might be expected to refer to the victims as “civilians”. But “innocent”? Is there a way that the dead and wounded could somehow be considered “guilty”?
Actually, there is: they could be non-Muslims. If you are a Muslim, and you obey Islamic law, then you believe the “murder of innocents” means “to kill Muslims without just cause”.
So there were presumably Muslims among the dead and wounded yesterday in Brussels — those were the “innocent people”.
This is the standard formula used by Muslim spokesmen after any Islamic terror attack: “We condemn all forms of terrorism. Islam forbids the killing of innocent people.” This is what you hear from CAIR, the OIC, the MCB, etc. When they say “innocent”, it’s a code word for “Muslim”.
Was Barack Hussein Obama using the word that way? There’s no way for us to tell, of course; it’s just another data point. And a lot of similar data points have accumulated over the past seven years
They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would cease.

Obama: We Should Learn from the Communists I'm Aiding Not to Profile Muslims

Obama has illegally decided to aid an enemy Communist dictatorship. But at the same time he wants to use that Communist dictatorship as a cautionary example when bashing Republicans. This is what a hypocrisy meltdown looks like.
Obama on Wednesday delivered a sharply personal rebuke of GOP presidential candidate Ted Cruz for his call to institute surveillance on Muslim communities in response to the Brussels terrorist attacks.
During a press conference in Argentina, Obama called such a proposal “wrong and un-American”
“I just left a country that engages in that kind of neighborhood surveillance, which, by the way, the father of Sen. Cruz escaped for America,” the president said.
It's also, by the way, the country that Obama is aiding. Also Cuba does worse than "neighborhood surveillance". And it doesn't practice it to stop terrorists from murdering people in the streets, but to suppress political dissent. Much the way that Obama tried to be explicitly targeting political critics as enemies of the state, e.g. Operation Rushbo, Fight the Smears...
Speaking of un-American, Obama is aiding an enemy state that tried to kill millions of Americans. So let's not learn from the example of the country that Obama is aiding.
But let's get down to the issue.
"Neighborhood surveillance" prevented Muslim terrorist attacks in America. We've never had anything like Paris here yet, because the FBI and NYPD engaged in surveillance that proactively broke up terror plots. As a matter of fact, despite the way it's been crippled, the FBI is still catching Muslim terror plotters in many of the same old ways.
If Belgium had engaged in better "neighborhood surveillance", the latest attack would not have happened. Instead Muslim No-Go Zones formed. And the authorities could no longer control them.

But he said the U.S. should not “take approaches that will be counterproductive," such as carpet-bombing Middle Eastern countries, an idea Cruz proposed.
“Not only is that inhumane, not only is that contrary to our values, but that would likely be an extraordinary mechanism for ISIL to recruit more," Obama said, using an alternate acronym for the group. “That’s not a smart strategy.”
Recruit more what... corpses?
Someone should have told the Allies in WW2 that bombing the Nazis is not only contrary to our values, but will only help recruit more Nazis. Then 6 million could have been 8 million. The Third Reich might even still be around today. Not to mention that the invasion of Japan would have cost a million American lives.
But Obama's smart strategy is to pour weapons into conflicts, free terrorists and ignore the consequences until they're on national television. That's smart.
Obama said, "We defeat them in part by saying, 'You are not strong. You are weak.' "
There you go. We're going to keep telling ISIS, "You are weak". Until they believe us. Or behead us. Smartpower (TM

Obama Considering Another Possible Opportunity to Apologize for America

Obama considering visit to Hiroshima: Official

Yahoo News
(AFP) - The White House is considering a possible visit by President Barack Obama to Hiroshima, the Japanese city devastated in history's first atomic bombing at the close of World War II, a US official told AFP. The official, who asked not to be named, said the details of Obama's visit to Japan for a Group of Seven summit in late May had yet to be finalized, but a trip to Hiroshima had not been ruled out. Obama is scheduled to participate in the summit of leading democracies in central Japan's Mie prefecture.
In 2008, then-House speaker Nancy Pelosi visited Hiroshima, becoming the highest, sitting US political figure to visit the city.
Japan has long urged world leaders to visit Hiroshima and Nagasaki to see the horrors of the atomic bombings and join efforts to eradicate nuclear arms. Yoshihide Suga, the Japanese government's top spokesman, refrained from directly commenting on the reports, but reiterated Tokyo's position.
"The government has always called on leaders around the world to visit Hiroshima and Nagasaki to see for themselves the reality of atomic bombings. We believe visits are important to boost international momentum toward achieving a world without nuclear arms."
Washington will make its final decision after a planned trip to Hiroshima by US Secretary of State John Kerry for a meeting of the G7 foreign ministers on April 10-11.
On August 6, 1945, the US dropped the world's first atomic bomb on Hiroshima, killing about 140,000 people. Three days later, the US military dropped a plutonium bomb on the port city of Nagasaki, killing some 74,000 people.
The bombings are controversial in the United States, where opinion remains divided over whether their use in the closing days of World War II was justified.
