I'll bet that doesn't change much.
The insurance scam artists will either cut their prices to what people can pay or go out of business. Either way, the common guy will win because all these "health care entities" will go back to accepting what can be paid. Think pre-insurance company scam days.

Medicine used to be about helping people, not getting rich. Doctors were respected for their knowledge and caring, not their bank accounts and fancy houses.

Analysis: GOP vexed by factions on replacing health law

WASHINGTON (AP) — Republicans are united on repealing President
Barack Obama's health care law, but ideologically and practically
speaking, they're in different camps over replacing it. Getting the
    factions together won't be easy.

Some Republicans would revise and rebrand "Obamacare," junking
unpopular provisions like its requirement that most Americans carry
health insurance, while preserving more popular provisions. Others would
rip up the Affordable Care Act, or ACA, and not replace it.

President-elect Donald Trump and Republican congressional leaders
will have to unite the groups on complicated changes affecting the
financial and physical well-being of millions of people. For some
constituents in fragile health, it's literally a life-and-death debate.

Republicans have "a really narrow path," says Grace-Marie Turner of
the Galen Institute, a free-market health care research organization.
"They've got to deal with the politics of this, they've got to make sure
they come up with good policy, and they also have process challenges."

Why replace it? Just scrap it and when the dust settles we'll have a better system because of free market forces.

After all, the quality of healthcare has been inversely proportional to the level of government involvement.

Price control needed and eliminate all the middlemen that get a piece of the pie. Allow the insurance industry to be more competitive.

Part of the problem now is that prices doctors and pharmacies charge are controlled by .gov and insurance companies instead of the market. If government (i.e. Medicaid /Medicare) says they will pay X amount for a particular treatment or medication, that amount will be what is charged. No physician is going to charge less than .gov will pay. The same is true concerning insurance companies. If the insurance company will pay $10.00 for a pill, the pill will cost at least $10.00. The solution is not to impose price controls, but eliminate the controls that are keeping prices sky high. Unfettered competition will bring prices down big-time. The transition would be rough, but no worse than Obamacare is now.

The GOP has officially hit the ‘buyer’s remorse’ stage on Obamacare repeal

Politics can sometimes resemble a smoldering pile of broken promises.
And the GOP's long-standing pledge to repeal Obamacare on Day One of a
GOP administration is suddenly looking like it might be thrown on the
    heap.

Over the last week, 10 Republican senators have voiced
concerns about the GOP's plans to repeal the law immediately before a
replacement can be crafted, and they're now being joined by a group of
    very conservative House Republicans.

I have issues with the price control piece. Would love to see the artificial fake state borders removed so I could buy from anyone. One of the biggest issues is med cost. Here I would consider a type of price control. It would be simple. You cannot charge more for a medication here than you charge anywhere else in the world. If a pill cost $1.00 in Mexico it shouldn't cost $35.00 in the US.

    Spicer--

Trump very clearly committed to preserving Medicaid/Medicare; will convey that to Congress as they repeal and replace Obamacare
