    In addition to being warmest year on record, 2016 also set a record for atmospheric moisture ("precipitable water" or PW in these charts). A symptom of climate change.

    Gulf of Mexico and SE coastal waters still near record warm- easy to see why warm records falling in Florida

    That didn't look like Manhattan but, this didn't happen to occur during a heavy rain/high tide event per chance, did it?

    If Global Warming was real(it isn't) and caused NYC and places like SF to be totally submerged under water, would that be a bad thing?

    Global sea surface temperatures (SSTs) in 2016 were essentially tied with 2015 for the warmest on record.
