What’s funny about this is the reaction from Hollywood would be more severe if he merely smirked at an Indian person while wearing a MAGA hat.

On Monday, January 21 at his comedy event Pete Davidson And Friends, the funnyman shocked and even angered the crowd with his controversial stories about baby sex and people with disabilities.
One of his most scandalous routines included a story about how he was babysitting his friend’s child, and the baby, who is teething, began sucking on his finger “but good,” he said.
“I don’t want to f**k this baby but he’s asking for it,” he said, adding that he doesn’t want to have sex with any babies, but if he did, he would choose that one.

They go on to say he used the term “mentally retarded,” which is supposed to be offensive now.
I don’t know if his career is already over as a result of his attention-seeking suicide posting, but I doubt this will have much effect.
A search of Google news shows only two or three other articles were written about it.
I guess journos were too busy writing about “racist MAGA hats” and “devastating smirks.”

Human Trafficking Sting Across California Nets 339 Arrests, Rescue of Nearly 50 Victims Including Teens

Fourteen minors were among the nearly 50 victims of human trafficking rescued during a sting across California that netted 339 arrests, law enforcement officials said Tuesday.
Some of the victims found by law enforcement were as young as 13 while other cases involved children as young as 6, Los Angeles County sheriff's officials said during a news conference alongside other authorities. Ninety-three human trafficking task forces and teams from various counties were part of the 3-day operation.
Among those arrested during "Operation Reclaim and Rebuild" were pimps who had put victims up for sale and individuals soliciting sex from underage teens, sheriff's officials said. Some of those saved from the underground world of sex trafficking were runaways or victims found through social media and chat sites online.
"Dramatic stories" of rescues and arrests have been shared between law enforcement agencies, L.A. County Sheriff's Assistant Chief Maria Gutierrez told reporters.
Naming a few such cases, Gutierrez said an adult man was seen sexually assaulting a 6-year-old child in multiple videos showing graphic child pornography. A 30-year-old suspect was found and arrested within 24 hours of authorities coming across the clips, she said.
The suspect was on felony probation and was wanted for another unrelated crime, the assistant chief said.
In another case, a 17-year-old girl was lured from a nearby city to Fresno by a man who she met online, Gutierrez said. Believing she was going to have a relationship with him, she also brought her 14-year-old sister to make the move.
Upon their arrival, the two teens were forced to work in prostitution under the threat of violence, according to Gutierrez. The man who the older teen had been in contact with was a pimp who then sold the girls to another pimp for $6,000 just days later.
In the hours after, law enforcement officials were able to track down both victims and the suspect, officials said. A firearm was found at the suspect's location. The two teens were connected with victim-centered services and taken home.
Meanwhile, in Contra Costa County, a 54-year-old man was taken into custody after allegedly sending photos of hundred dollar bills to a 15-year-old boy he was trying to "groom and entice" into meeting him at a park for sex, Gutierrez said. The teen was actually an undercover decoy who was one of the officers who later arrested the man when he arrived at the park.
Gutierrez described the suspect in that case as a "dangerous predator" who had already been convicted of lewd conduct offenses in 2003.
Law enforcement officials came across another potentially dangerous suspect after an online decoy was used to set up a meeting for sex at an Ontario motel room.
Upon entering the motel, that suspect was found with a 45-caliber pistol in his pocket and some meth, Gutierrez said. Seven other firearms, including assault weapons and handguns, were found inside his vehicle.
Officials said various tools are used in tracking down victims and suspects in the statewide sex trade, including bots who send texts to those soliciting sex.
The 3-day statewide sting took place during January as it's officially recognized by the federal government as National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month. Some of the advocacy groups who work with victims include the Coalition to Abolish Slavery and Trafficking and Saving Innocence.
The National Human Trafficking Hotline estimates that at least 760 cases were reported in the state of California in 2018. Nationwide, 6,244 cases of sex trafficking were reported in 2017, according to the hotline.
Standing alongside other human trafficking investigators from across the state, Gutierrez said authorities have a message for those working to sell, abuse and exploit victims.
"Don’t do business in Los Angeles County or the state of California because we will find you and prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law," she said.

A New Jersey special education teacher is in hot water with authorities after being accused of having a sexual relationship with a male student.

Authorities arrested Alexandra Reiner, 30, of Eastampton on Tuesday and charged her with one count of sexual assault and one count of endangering the welfare of a child after school officials found out that Reiner allegedly had an inappropriate sexual relationship with a male student at the school where she taught.
Investigators began looking into Reiner, who teaches at Rancocas Valley Regional High School, after district officials received word that she had been in the alleged sexual relationship with the student in December 2018.

They allege that he repeatedly hit them, often after drinking, frequently in bed and never with their consent. Manning Barish and Selvaratnam categorize the abuse he inflicted on them as “assault.” They did not report their allegations to the police at the time, but both say that they eventually sought medical attention after having been slapped hard across the ear and face, and also choked. Selvaratnam says that Schneiderman warned her he could have her followed and her phones tapped, and both say that he threatened to kill them if they broke up with him.

Former New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman used nearly $340,000 in political campaign funds to pay the law firm that represented him during an investigation of allegations that he physically abused several women, according to campaign finance reports reviewed by The Associated Press.
The practice is legal, but reform activists say Schneiderman and other politicians are exploiting lax campaign finance rules.

University of Michigan Professor Arrested for Sexual Assault

University of Michigan music professor David Daniels has been arrested, along with his husband, Scott Walters, amid accusations that the two men drugged and raped a graduate student in 2010.

David Daniels, an opera singer and music professor at the University of Michigan, has been arrested, and may be handed over to authorities in Texas for a second-degree sexual assault charge, according to a report by Inside Higher Ed.
Daniels’ husband, Scott Walters, was also arrested on accusations that the two men allegedly drugged and raped graduate student Samuel Schultz in Houston, Texas, in 2010.


The attorney representing Daniels and Walters, Matt Hennessy, says that Schultz is just looking to capitalize on the #MeToo movement, because the former student knows he will never get that amount of attention as a singer.
“David and Scott are innocent of any wrongdoing,” said Hennessy to Mlive, “Sam Schultz is not a victim. He never would have gotten this much attention from his singing, and he knows and resents that fact.”
“He waited eight years to complain about adult, consensual sex to ride the MeToo movement to unearned celebrity,” added Hennessy, “We will fight this.”
“I have been terrified to talk about this publicly,” said Schultz in a statement on his website, “as many know, people in positions of power — have not been held accountable in the past. There was a legitimate danger of destroying my career by reporting someone else’s assault against me.”
Daniels, who was granted tenure last May, is also facing a lawsuit by another former student, Andrew Lipian, who said in 2017 that the professor took off his clothes and groped him after tricking him into taking sleeping medication, according to NPR.
Lipian also claims that the university’s faculty and administration did not act, despite knowing that Daniels had been “extremely open about and forward with his sexual thoughts and feelings.”
Daniels, who is on a leave of absence from the University of Michigan, denies Lipian’s allegation, calling it “fake and malicious.”
“I was raped,” said Schultz in his statement regarding Daniels and Walters, who were wed by Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg in 2014.
“Yes, men are raped,” added Schultz, “I did not know that the word ‘rape’ applied to what happened to me until I lethargically went to tell a friend, and told her through tears and emptiness, what happened to me.”

Pope Francis has acknowledged the abuse of nuns by priests and bishops - and admitted some of them had been used as 'sex slaves.'
The Pope, whose papacy has been marked by efforts to quell a global crisis over sexual abuse of children by Catholic clergy, said yesterday he was committed to stopping the abuse.
Pope Francis made his comments on the plane back from Abu Dhabi in response to a reporter's question about a Vatican monthly magazine article last week about the abuse of nuns in the Catholic Church.
Recently more nuns, encouraged by the MeToo movement, have been coming forward to describe abuse at the hands of priests and bishops.
Last year, the International Union of Superiors General - which represents more than 500,000 Catholic nuns - urged their members to report abuse.

Popular Twitch streamer and game community manager Thomas Cheung was arrested on Monday as part of a child sex sting operation conducted by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

Thomas Cheung, a popular gaming streamer on the Twitch platform, was arrested on Monday after he fell into a child sex sting operation conducted by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. Cheung was also a community manager for Hi-Rez studios, which publishes the popular online multiplayer game Paladins.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigations published a press release on Monday about the operation and its arrests. The sting targeted adults who were using the Internet to “purchase” sex with a minor.
