Portland police are investigating a shooting that happened at 12:15 a.m. Saturday in the Kerns neighborhood, they said.
Police responded to the scene at NE 8th Avenue and Davis and found a SUV crashed into the side of a building and evidence of gunfire.
While they didn't find anybody at the scene, police said they received a report of an injured person who was taken to the hospital and might be connected to the incident.
