    Default Prayer Warriors needed!

I was reading the Miradus thread and it was mentioned why some people come and go. While I have been lurking, I decided that I needed to cut much of the internet out. So I have a major concern after not being here on a more constant basis but need to bring this up anyway.

I thought my health was slowly improving. A routine work physical turned into a hematologist visit and that specialist believes I have multiple myeloma.(Bone Marrow cancer) We are completing tests and awaiting final results. I think the Dr. is right on this Your prayers would be greatly appreciated. Serious thanks!

By all means, Pony Up. Will be praying. Nice to meet you, btw.
But what weapons can you use to dispossess someone who will not accept anything except Holy Scripture interpreted according to his own rules?...Where Lutheranism reigns, learning dies. They seek only two things: good pay and a wife. The gospel offers them the rest — that is, the power of living as they please.

I understand now how Arius and Tertullian and Wickliff were driven into schism by malicious clergy and wicked monks.

I want to think all responding members. Prayer is so vital. OW, that's some great reading.
I will share this also, because I know we have some real pet lovers here-respectfully intended. My room mate/landlords sister was going out of town to visit one of their college children and brought her dog over to be kept. The dog and myself get along well and she came over to greet me while I was sitting alone. I didn't receive her normal greeting, however. She started sniffing and wouldn't quit. I had no food or other animal scent on me, so there was no obvious reason for her to do this. Then she laid at my foot. That action-not the dog-annoyed me. I knew she was on to something and I wasn't too keen on the thought of that. Just thought I'd throw that out. Animals are amazing and sense things people don't realize. One last thing: I know God is with me on this. I am not fearful!

Praying for you, for comfort, healing, peace.
Dogs DO tend to know when we aren't well. I had a dog who would body block me from going near my husband. He would whine and bark, act totally jealous of I tried to kiss my husband. It turns out that the dog could tell when my husband had developed serious infection. Eventually my husband died of infection. But the dog's posturing gave us a heads up that something was wrong. He was classified as a service animal as a result of his behavior. He was a pit bull.

Perhaps that dog will be your clue that treatments are working, or give you early warning if they aren't...catch problems in the bud. But no matter what, draw close to God, and stay there.
As an American you have the right to not believe in guns. You also have the right to not believe in God. But if someone is trying to break into your home, or wants to harm you, the first thing you will do is pick up the phone and call someone with a gun. The second thing you will do is pray that they get there in time. ~Don Moore

    Likewise Wiskey Reb.
I have a procedure today 7/26. It's not chemo or radiation, but the drug has some potential side effects, one of which is kidney damage. Prayer need that organs aren't harmed and no complications occur. Don't need any additional problems. Sincere thanks! to all.
