Shana Tova, my friend. All the synagogues are booked up...I waited too long to get my reservation in. We'll be following the Machzor from home, and reciting the appropriate things for the B'nei Noach.
But what weapons can you use to dispossess someone who will not accept anything except Holy Scripture interpreted according to his own rules?...Where Lutheranism reigns, learning dies. They seek only two things: good pay and a wife. The gospel offers them the rest — that is, the power of living as they please.

I understand now how Arius and Tertullian and Wickliff were driven into schism by malicious clergy and wicked monks.

One of the reasons we go to Chabad on the High Holidays is because they're free and open to everyone, including Noahide's. Well that, and they're within walking distance.

The signficance of why we celebrate on this day is that it is the commemoration of the creation of Adam & Eve, therefore it celebrates the beginning for all of mankind, the crown of creation.

Shana Tova u’Metuka - a sweet New Year filled with good health, much happiness and success in all of your endeavors.

OK, I'm going to reveal my ignorance, here, but I have never understood how there could be two "New Year's Day" in the same year. When God was informing Moses, He said that the Spring month of Abib would be the first month for them, with Adar, I think, being the last, the twelfth or the thirteenth, month of the year. Rosh Hashanah, is the first day of the seventh month? I just get a little confused. Any help would be appreciated...Thanks
