Hey Zazzu! C'mon and join us. You can bid on the overnight from after the day's market closes until 0600 the next morning. Figure out where to bid by seeing what the futures are. You're best going in around 10;00PM for the futures and the person who starts that thread usually says what the futures are.
For Futures I use
http://money.cnn.com/data/premarket/ and/or
https://www.finviz.com/futures.ashx
Remember, futures are an "educated guess" by highly paid market "experts." (they have no idea either)
Or you can bid on the morning A-list which is open from 6:00am until noon. The DOW opens at around 9:30 am. To check on how the market is doing and maybe give an idea on how to bid, I use
https://finance.google.com/finance?cid=983582
which shows a chart and where the DOW is.
Lastly, you can bid on the B-list if you wish. It's open from 12:01pm until 3:00 pm.
Despite what you see some people do here (Hammer for instance), you can only bid on one list per daily market cycle. In other words, if you bid on the overnight, you may not bid on the next day's A or B list. If you bid on the A, you can't bid on the B. Just one list.
Maximum points can be gained bidding on the Overnight. 1st, 2nd and 3rd places there get the player 9,8, or 7 points respectively.
On the A list, 1st, 2ns, and 3rd places earn the player 6, 5, or 4 points respectively.
On the B List, points are 3, 2, and 1 for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place.
