    People literally lost their ****. 10 minutes to say goodbye. I promise you there are people in the Chain of Command at the 7th Fleet who are rinsing out their underwear right now. That "This is not a drill" FUBAR set off a chain reaction which we'd all regreat real fast if they didn't get confirmation ASAP.

    I'm very much unconvinced that it was a "false" alarm. My hunch is that we just foiled a real missile launch, and this "false alarm" narrative is to forgo or forstall having to confront the offending country that launched on us.
