According to the NRA, a secret service agent arrived at the high school sometime in December of 2017 for active shooter training. The agent apparently went around the campus and stuck 21 post-it notes to various people that could have been potential victims in a shooting.

Well-known teen gun control activist David Hogg posted social media statements Wednesday that suggested he plans a Memphis protest against FedEx.
"See you this summer," he wrote to his 813,000 Twitter followers, adding a smiley face. "1000 Ridgeway Loop Memphis, Tennessee."

"That's FedEx," he wrote in a subsequent post. (FedEx is listed as one of the tenants in this East Memphis office building, but the main FedEx headquarters is at 3680 Hacks Cross Road.)
People immediately began asking for more details, but Hogg didn't add much, writing, "More info to come."

FedEx released a statement late Wednesday that didn't mention Hogg and repeated several points the company had made earlier this year during an earlier dispute over its discount program for NRA members.
"The pricing program mentioned in some reports is not for the NRA itself – it is for American small businesses and consumers that are members of the association," the company said.
The company also repeated earlier statements distancing itself from the NRA's positions: "FedEx opposes assault rifles being in the hands of civilians . . . Most important, FedEx believes urgent action is required at the local, state, and Federal level to protect schools and students from incidents such as the horrific tragedy in Florida on February 14th."

Hogg is among a group of teenagers who emerged as some of the most recognizable faces of a revitalized gun control movement this year following a February mass shooting at their high school in Parkland, Florida.
Hogg and supporters recently held protests at Publix supermarkets to bring pressure against the company's support for Adam Putnam, an NRA-friendly candidate for Florida governor.
In the protests, young people lay on the supermarket floors in "die-ins" as managers routed shoppers around them. The protests led the company to announce Friday that it was suspending its political donations.
On MSNBC's "AM Joy" in February, Hogg pressed for FedEx to end its NRA discounts and said, "The CEO is one of the biggest donors to the NRA, and we have to take care of them."
The company said CEO Fred Smith isn't an NRA backer.
"He has never been a member of the NRA, nor has he ever contributed to the NRA ... and his political contributions are a matter of public record," spokesman Patrick Fitzgerald said in February.
During a protest on the University of Memphis campus earlier this year, students stopped in front of the FedEx Institute of Technology building on campus and chanted, "Hey FedEx, whaddaya say? Divest from the NRA!"

    Parkland School Shooting

Hogg not home at time of incident

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - The family of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student David Hogg was "swatted" Tuesday morning, prompting deputies to respond to their Parkland home.
A call came into the Broward Sheriff's Office claiming a hostage situation at the home. More David Hogg Headlines

Coral Springs Fire Rescue arrived at the scene to find there was no hostage situation and the call was a prank.
Hogg was not home at the time of the incident and is currently in Washington with his mother to accept the RFK Human Rights award.
In a phone call with Local 10 News, Hogg sounded off on the massive law enforcement presence at his home after the prank call.

"I think it's really a distraction from what we're trying to fix here, which is the massive gun-violence epidemic in this country," Hogg told Local 10 News reporter Liane Morejon.
Hogg said he found out about the swatting incident through a phone call from a friend.
Sky 10 was over the home as units were staged outside as a precaution. BSO deputies and a BSO helicopter swarmed the neighborhood.
Swatting is the action of making a prank emergency call to bring about a response of armed law enforcement officers.
Neighbors who spoke to Local 10 News reporter Alex Finnie said the incident put them on edge.
"Today, we're walking -- we're going for a walk, and we saw some helicopters here, so we're like, 'Oh my God. What's going on?'" Marcia Marques said. "We are still trying to overcome everything because everything is very difficult, but that episode made us feel more attentive."
"Two police cars, two motorcycles. We should be doing better," Courtney Keisen, who lives in the neighborhood and attends Stoneman Douglas, said. "Something like this shouldn't happen a lot."
Since the shootings at Stoneman Douglas, Hogg has been a prominent advocate for gun safety. However, Hogg has been a lightning rod for controversy as some do not approve of his methods, such as holding a "die-in" protest at a Coral Springs Publix last week.
Hogg said the incident is "evidence of the fact of how many people are trying to stop us from what we're trying to do, which is stop these kids from dying." "There's people trying to distract from what we're trying to push here, which is the March For Our Lives Road To Change," Hogg said. "And I want people to know, like, we're just trying to advocate for change. There's going to be people against it and always will be, but we're going to keep going no matter what. Nothing will stop us."

He probably did it to himself for the publicity. Notice he wasn't at home?
