Despite the massive purge, Li said gatherings would continue.
“Even if we are down to our last five, worship and gatherings will still go on because our faith is real,” Li said.
“Persecution is a price worth paying for the Lord. We would rather live through it than to hide our faith and we hope more Chinese churches will speak up and stand with us.”
And this is what's missing in america. Those who don't care what the satanic system says.

Most churches in america are deader than a doornail.

Two female Christian artists in Arizona who refuse to make custom-art for same sex weddings could actually be jailed for sticking to their religious beliefs.
Joanna Duka and Breanna Koski , who own Brush & Nib Studio, make custom artwork using painting, calligraphy and handlettering. They filed suit against the city of Phoenix, as a Phoenix city ordinance threatens them with up to six months and/or a fine of $2,500 each day they refuse to make the artwork. First the women filed in state court to overturn the ordinance, but lost in a court of appeals, prompting them to appeal to the state’s Supreme Court, which said on November 20 it would hear the case.
The Alliance Defending Freedom, which represents the women, asked in their petition:
Does Phoenix violate the Arizona Constitution’s Free Speech Clause when it forces commissioned artists to create custom artwork—consisting of words and paintings—conveying messages they object to and when it bans commissioned artists from publishing a statement explaining the artwork they can and cannot create?
Does Phoenix violate Arizona’s Free Exercise of Religion Act when it uses criminal penalties—including jail time—to force commissioned artists to create custom artwork expressing messages that violate their sincerely held religious beliefs and when it bans religiously motivated speech?
The petition added, “Their Christian beliefs forbid them from creating ‘custom artwork that conveys messages condoning, supporting, or participating in activities or ideas that violate their religious beliefs. For example, they cannot create artwork expressing messages that ‘contradict biblical truth, demean others, endorse racism, [or] incite violence.’”
ADF senior counsel Jonathan Scruggs stated at the time the state Supreme Court agreed to hear the case, “The government must allow artists to make their own decisions about which messages they will promote. Joanna and Breanna are happy to design custom art for anyone; they simply object to being forced to pour their heart, soul, imagination, and talent into creating messages that violate their conscience.”
The business license is the contract....

Governor Larry Hogan Announces Additional Funding to Prevent Hate Crimes

FY 2020 Budget Includes $5 Million for Increased Security Measures at Schools and Places of Worship
ANNAPOLIS, MD – Governor Larry Hogan today announced a total of $5 million in funding to enhance security at facilities in Maryland that are potential targets for hate crimes, including schools and places of worship. The funding will support additional security needs including training, security personnel, and security-related technology such as cameras, door-hardening, improved lighting, and other security-related facility upgrades.
“Hate has no place in our society and we stand united in our conviction that a diverse and inclusive Maryland is a stronger Maryland,” said Governor Hogan. “These investments will allow us to more effectively prevent and address instances of hate and violence across our state, and help ensure that Maryland remains a place where people of all backgrounds and beliefs can call home.”
The governor is including $3 million in his Fiscal Year 2020 budget to protect houses of worship that are at risk for hate crimes. This new competitive grant program will be administered by the Governor’s Office of Crime Control & Prevention. Houses of worship will be eligible for funding regardless of religious affiliation.
“Governor Hogan has made it clear we will not tolerate hatred towards others because of their background or beliefs,” said Glenn Fueston, Executive Director of the Governor’s Office of Crime Control & Prevention. “These funds will help religious institutions and schools to enhance their security and keep our communities safe.”
The Schools and Child Care Centers – State Grant Program, established by Senate Bill 1191 during the 2017 legislative session, is operated by the Maryland Center for School Safety. Governor Hogan appropriated $1 million in funding for the program in Fiscal Year 2019, which has been awarded to 28 applicants in order to make improvements to help keep their institutions equipped and prepared. Building upon this success, the governor’s Fiscal Year 2020 budget will include $2 million to continue this program – a doubling of last year’s appropriation.
“This grant will help enhance those at-risk venues so they can have the tools and resources needed to keep our children safe,” said Kate Hession, Executive Director of the Maryland Center for School Safety. “Ensuring the well-being of our children while in school or at a childcare center is paramount, and this funding will help achieve that goal.”
Hate crimes reported to the FBI increased by 30 percent between 2016 and 2017, the most recent year of data, and most experts agree hate crimes are underreported. To strengthen reporting of hate crimes, the Maryland State Police will introduce legislation to broaden law enforcement reporting requirements so that reporting on hate crimes is more reflective of the hate crimes occurring in Maryland. The legislation will bring the definition of what must be reported in line with what legally constitutes a hate crime – actions directed against an individual or group because of race, color, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, gender, disability, or national origin or because another person or group is homeless.
“Martin Luther King, Jr. said in 1957, ‘Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that,’ and those words still ring true 60 years later,” said Dr. Calvin Baltimore, Pastor of The People’s Community Baptist Church and The Missionary Baptist Ministers Conference of D.C., Maryland, and the Vicinity. “While we continue to spread love, we are grateful to the state for providing resources to help keep our most vulnerable and precious members of society, our children, safe and secure.”
“We must stand in solidarity against anti-Semitism and other acts and words of hatred,” said Yehuda Neuberger, President of the Baltimore Jewish Council. “The initiatives announced today by Governor Hogan will strengthen and protect communities across Maryland.”
“The Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Washington (JCRC) is pleased that Governor Hogan recognizes the growing need to protect our faith based institutions by allocating much needed funds for both operating and capital security needs,” said Ron Halber, Executive Director of the JCRC.
“We all seek a society free from hate and intolerance, one that celebrates diverse backgrounds and inclusiveness,” said Imam Earl El-Amin, Muslim Community Cultural Center of Baltimore. “As the Quran reads in Chapter 49, verse 13: ‘O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other).’ Maryland’s growing Muslim community believes working closely with our state leaders is important to protecting our children in their places of education and worship.”

Default The Religious War is days away

The Nuclear Option: Twitter Tiki Torch Mob Rages Against Christians

Just when you think political discourse in America could not possibly get any dumber. Or more dishonest.

Along comes an(other) angry, bigoted mob.
First, they got whipped up by last week’s decision by second lady Karen Pence to return to teaching. At a private Christian school, this being America and all. You know, the birthplace of religious freedom and tolerance.

The ensuing meltdown was astonishing, even by today’s moronic standards of public debate. By the end of the week, the phrase “Expose Christian Schools” went viral.
If only there were an ointment or a cure or a prophylactic for such a nasty virus. It makes people dumb and thoughtless and impairs their judgment.
Left untreated, this virus causes people to froth at the mouth and spit invective at innocent strangers. Most often, this virus is associated with untreated, advanced-stage Trump Derangement Syndrome.

In mob form — particularly in the safety of online “forums” — those suffering from this virus become fully infantile, develop deep paranoia and will lash out at complete strangers with ignorant, bigoted, racial and religious animus.

You know, the sort of behavior that is not accepted in any polite society any more today.
Full-grown adults, mothers and fathers of actual children, were infected by the virus. They condemned not just Mrs. Pence but Christian schools generally and smeared an entire religion.
Adding to their rage was the prospect of the March for Life, an annual gathering of tens of thousands of people — often hundreds of thousands — on the National Mall.
Religious bigots have long despised the March for Life, a remarkable gathering of peaceful people giving voice to the truly voiceless. These people do this every year on what always seems like the coldest day of the year. (Also, they are famous for never leaving behind any trash.)
But with “Expose Christian Schools” a trending rage, the lusty mob smelled blood. Their Twitter tiki torches were burning hot, their shiny forceps glinting in the sun.
They went in search of victims to jeer and bully and smear with their vitriol. They found them on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. Young students from a Catholic high school in Kentucky.
The internet mob — is there a more ignorant, prejudiced or cowardly mob? — was relentless. Accusing the young boys who had finished the March for Life of disrespecting an elderly gentleman who wandered into their group, banging a drum.
The offense: One boy stood there watching the man, smiling, as the man banged the drum inches from his nose. Nearby, other boys continued with the school chants they were reciting when the drummer walked up.
The bigoted mob denounced the boys for the color of their skin and ridiculed them for their religion. The lusty mob found out where the boys attended school and began harassing school officials.
Within hours, the mob — many of them grown adults with children of their own — had so thoroughly destroyed these young boys’ reputations that the students feared they would be expelled from school.
Surely, once the mob has put away its tiki torches and turned off the internet, cooler heads will prevail.
Still, left behind by the angry mob is the most appalling pile of garbage that will follow these boys for the rest of their lives.
