California To Ban the Sale of Bibles?

The Left’s hatred of Christianity on full display

    Conservative Tribune - April 22, 2018 72 Comments

When you think about the censorship and outright banning of books and opinions, do you imagine the United States of America?

Or, more likely, does that kind of suppression strike you more as the tactics of communists or fascists that America has frequently fought against?
If liberal lawmakers in California get their way, that west coast state may be one step closer to being unrecognizable as part of the United States. A bill currently pending in the legislature would essentially ban the sale of books that include traditional Christian views on marriage and sexuality.
Shockingly, the proposed law could even be construed to make it illegal to sell Bibles, since they include verses that the far left finds unacceptable.

    Yeah, I hear that.

The bill is basically doing away anything that would restrict, or speak against, any kind of sexual restrictions/limitations. Which would include the Bible, but not just the Bible. I guess CA politicians think the Bible speaks against homosexuality. Odd when so many modern day preachers do not.

Since the bill would ban the "sale" of the Bible, I would suggest giving them away.

Last night a brother at church showed me his new Bible. After he bought it, he noticed it had been printed in China. He thought it was odd that Bibles were being printed in China since ownership of Bibles is restricted in China.

I told him I had read several years ago that some publishing companies decided to have some of their Bibles printed in China in hopes that English speaking Chinese would read it. They also hoped that some of the Bibles, or at least some pages from the Bible, would find their way out of the factories and make it into the hands of the Chinese people.

They'll come for our guns first, then our Bibles, and eventually us as Christians. We're about to enter the darkest period of the "Twilight Zone".

Sad, isn't it. And, we are seeing the consequences of ignoring God.

The disarming of Americans will enable them to strip us of our rights. Once the Second Amendment is completely eliminated, then the rest of the Bill of Rights will be eliminated. As soon as the First Amendment is gone, the Bible will be outlawed as "hate speech". Then they will attempt to silence Christians. When this fails, we will be imprisoned and executed.

Exactly. Pretty soon, Christians are going to find out what their faith is made of. Will they fall away, because of persecution, or will they stand for Christ no matter the cost?

Maybe California will drop off into the ocean.
