OUTED: FBI Made At Least 11 Payments To Christopher Steele

This past week, Judicial Watch was able to get over 70 pages of heavily redacted records concerning Christopher Steele, the former British spy. And what they revealed showed just how shady the business with Steele, the Democrats and the dossier was.
The documents confirmed that the FBI had actually paid Christopher Steele, the man who put together the infamous unverified dossier targeting President Donald Trump during the campaign, in 11 separate cash payments in 2016.
This was despite being admonished in February 2016 and despite the fact that he was being paid with money from the Democrats that went through the law firm Perkins Coie to Fusion GPS to Steele for opposition research to gather against Trump.
So it means the FBI was using taxpayer dollars to pay for opposition research and unverified smears on Trump. In the words of FBI official Peter Strzok, sounds like an “insurance policy.”
And then to thicken the soup, even more, Steele passed money on to sources who were Russians. So yes, there was ‘collusion’ between the Russians who were providing the information and the Clinton/Democrats who were providing the funding to get that information. And in some sense, perhaps, between the FBI who was also paying Steele, which money may also have gone to Russian sources.
And the FBI wanted to continue the relationship even after the election and was going to pay him more, but for the fact that Steele violated their rule about leaking to the press that he was working for the FBI.
The documents include a “source closing communication” that states that Steele (referred to as “CHS” or Confidential Human Source) “is being closed” because:
CHS confirmed to an outside third party that CHS has a confidential relationship with the FBI. CHS was used as a source for an online article. In the article, CHS revealed CHS’ relationship with the FBI as well as information that CHS obtained and provided to FBI. On November 1, 2016, CHS confirmed all of this to the handling agent. At that time, handling agent advised CHS that the nature of the relationship between the FBI and CHS would change completely and that it was unlikely that the FBI would continue a relationship with the CHS. Additionally, handling agent advised that CHS was not to operate to obtain any intelligence whatsoever on behalf of the FBI.
Steele also made it very clear to the FBI that he was doing this because he didn’t want Trump to become president.
Yet despite the questions about Steele, despite the fact that James Comey himself called the dossier “salacious and unverified,” the FBI used the dossier to get multiple FISA warrants to surveil Carter Page before and after the election. And the judges were never told about the Clinton connection to Steele and the dossier.
“These new docs show the shady, cash-based relationship the Obama FBI had with Clinton operative Christopher Steele,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “The anti-Trump Russia ‘investigation’ had Christopher Steele at its center and his misconduct was no impediment to using information from his Russia intelligence collaborators to spy on the Trump team. The corruption and abuse is astonishing.”
The Mueller investigation has spent millions to find no Trump collusion.
So where is the investigation into the DNC, Hillary Clinton and Obama administration actions here?
