Watch as ex-CIA analyst falls victim to Trump Derangement Syndrome, goes berserk on CNN

    By Thomas Lifson

We now have a visual depiction of the onset of a Trump Derangement Syndrome episode, causing a presumably serious person to lose self-control. If the psychology and psychiatry professions were not so politicized and left wing, it could be useful documentary evidence for DSM-6 to include TDS as a recognized diagnosis. Friday, on Anderson Cooper’s CNN show AC 360 (with substitute host Jim Sciutto), ex-CIA executive Phil Mudd reacted badly to the charge from fellow panelist Paris Dennard that “courtesy” security clearances for former national security officials enable them to cash in.

The video below is worth watching for its 1 minute and 43 seconds of TDS building into a full-blown breakdown. You can actually see the fury building in Mudd’s face, and he ends up using a profanity, the s-word, and ordering his antagonist to “get out” in a series of screen grabs I clipped:

    Here is the video:

Courtesy of P.J. Gladnick of Newsbusters, here is the transcript [emphases in original]:

PARIS DENNARD: A lot of these people that have these security clearances, and this is the secret in the swampy Washington, D.C., they have them and they keep them because it's profitable for them after they leave government, because if you a security clearance, especially high level security clearance, your contracts and consulting gig pay you a lot more money because of the access that you have. I hope the president continues to do this, and I hope he adds Omarosa to the list, because if she has a clearance, she too because of her actions should have it revoked.
JIM SCIUTTO: I don't know if I would put Omarosa in the same category as the 75 people who signed the letters. But, Phil Mudd, I imagine you want to react.
PHILIP MUDD: Profitable, Paris? When I am required to sit on an advisory board, let me ask you one question, how much do you think I'm paid to do that at the request of the U.S. government? Give me one answer, and you've got 10 seconds? How much?
DENNARD: I'll ask you a question. How much are you paid for your contracting gig?
MUDD: ANSWER THE QUESTION!!! I have no contracts with the U.S. government that pay money. Zero.
DENNARD: I'm not talking about your role with the federal government. I'm talking about...
MUDD: Oh, who are you talking about? Are you talking General Hayden?
DENNARD: Consultant and a contractor, the consulting firms that they form and you all get is because you get more money when having a consultant -- for having the security clearance. Stop acting like that doesn't happen.
MUDD: That is incorrect. I have zero consulting relationships with the U.S. government. Zero.
DENNARD: I'm not talking -- Phil, that's a good talking point. I'm not talking about relationship with the government. I'm talking about in the private sector. When you a security clearance...
MUDD: I have zero relationships with the private sector that involve my security clearance.Zero. Zero. I get zero dollars from consulting companies that deal with the U.S. government. Are we clear?
As Gladnck points out, this is evasive at best:

Zero Phil? What about your relationship with CNN as a counterterrorism analyst?
    Mudd continued (via Business Insider):
"We're done, Jim," Mudd said, referring to CNN chief national security correspondent Jim Sciutto, who was anchoring the news program Friday night, and got caught the verbal cross-fire. "We're done. Get out!"
"It's not your show, so I'm staying right here," Dennard said. "Don't be so defensive about this."

"Twenty-five years in the service and this is the s--t I get? Get out!," Mudd said again.

Typical, they think that their former position in Government, their Rank, is a privilege.
    That it's theirs for life.
Yes they worked hard (some of them), and the higher they got, they got paid very well too for their service.

They answered the call to duty and to serve, they forgot that it's also a honor.

When I was in, I had a very high security clearance, but just for my area of operation (as it should be). I was briefed (on some stuff) that maybe 100 other people in the Government knew about.
Again for my area only. (I don't know anymore then you do about UFO's, Space programs, Stargates, or Big Foot, LOL). (Well maybe a bit more on Big Foot!)

I do know that those at the top (especially in the Previous Junta) were heavily politicized, to do the 0's (zeros) biding, same as it was under Clinton.
Way to many of those who got Stars to wear were not our best or brightest.

The Day I got out I had my Security clearance downgraded, and of course signed all of the papers saying I couldn't talk or write about certain time frames or missions done. (As it should be)

These Perfumed Princes that still have their Clearances, and use it for profit, should be stripped of all retirement benefits. If they talk about secrets they should be charged, found guilty and receive punishment as needed up to and including Treason Charges and then a hanging.

Nothing will become of this, just like insider trading and advanced knowledge of government spending the swamp creatures won't give up easy money.

Keep in mind that Mudd's great grand-pa, son of slave owners, helped assassinate Lincoln
They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would cease.
