Pastor, what does the OP have to do with Trump's magnificent reign.
It's about Pubs that continue to use and abuse by making promises they have no intention of keeping

If you happen to read the article without your knee-jerk Trump worship, the article isn't critical of him.

It is critical of the Pubs who promise the world and give us nothing.House and Senate.

    Every election.
    Voters fall for it.
    Every election

    We are taken for granted.
This is an all too common refrain, lets just stay home because we didn't get what we want.

It isn't about Trump, it is about people who won't continue the fight when things are heading, although slowly, in the right direction.

Did you read the article, Pat?

It wasn't about staying at home.
    It wasn't anti-Trump.

It was about Republicans in the Senate and House.
The article said to vote for any Republican that was on the ballot for Senate and do not vote for anybody in the House but to write in "on strike"

It won't hurt Trump's agenda because they haven't given him anything anyhow.

    Besides, I like gridlock.
The less the government can do the better

The article is anti-Trump and if people write in "on strike" in the House races, it would certainly keep the President from accomplishing what needs to be done.

Congress has not given the President everything he wants, but without the House of Representatives passing the necessary legislation, we would not have gotten tax cuts, rollback of regulations, repeal of the Obamacare individual mandate, improvements in the Veterans Administration, pay raises for the military and, though it is a small step, the House of Representatives has given the President more money for border security.

It is true that Congress, both the House and Senate, have not done what they should have done for many years, turning the House over to the Democrats will make sure the President's agenda will be stopped completely.

What the Liberal Progressives (our entire Congressional Delegation, Govenor, State House and Senate) have done to our state is on everyone's mind. I believe we're going to see something historic here in RI.

ETA: I haven't forgotten the GOP (especially it's leadership) did literally nothing during the 8 years Obooboo was President.

No it is anti Trump Dave...
Trump if you saw the 60 minutes interview is finding himself and adapting to being President..
The Kavanaugh hearings seem to have been the turning point in his administration.Republicans are coming on board with him daily...
Democrats never will, give him a chance and at least two more years and much more good will come out of this administration..

and speaking of 60 minutes, that woman was combative as hell with him. Disrespectful. Who ever talked to Bill and Barry that way? When people say Donald has knee jerk reactions and can't keep his cool, I think he had an unbelievable way of keeping his cool with that beast of an interviewer.

Back to the OP, I like what Pat Daly said, "It takes time to reinstall a spine". I hope you vote and keep the D's out, Davy

Let me repeat and I'll type real slow for the reading comprehension challenged.

    IT AIN'T ANTI-TRUMP!!!!

It is about Republicans pulling the switcheroo every election.

Someone mentioned Trump's rollback of regulations.
He doesn't need Congress to do most of that.
    Congress didn't give him that,

They did give him a little tax cut.
And a $1T deficit as far as they eye can see.
They're not giving him his border wall.
    They're not de-funding Planned Parenthood.
    They're not repealing Obamacare.
    And so on, ad nauseum.

They're not giving Trump his campaign promises.

We can have anybody sitting in the House that won't do that.
Democrats are, at least, honest about it.

To repeat the points in the article.
It says VOTE FOR every Republican for the Senate.

It suggests not voting for any Republicans for the House.
It doesn't say to vote for Democrats, either.

It doesn't matter who controls the House as long as Pubs control the Senate.
And Trump controls the White House.
Still get justices with the Senate if there are any more openings.

It's time to teach the Pubs a lesson

I haven't forgotten the GOP (especially it's leadership) did literally nothing during the 8 years Obooboo was President.

    And two years with Trump.
