The democrats say that if the Senate votes on her replacement they will pack the court with 4 more justices when they are in power. What is to stop the Republicans from doing that now with Conservative Judges? Maybe we should.

Justice Ginsburg should have retired during Obama's administration. She was diseased and terminally so, and knew it. She could have lived out her life comfortably.

But she was an arrogant and vain woman.

She, like so many others, believed that Hillary was "the chosen one", much like Anikin Skywalker was believed to be the "chosen one" in Star Wars. She was entitled to be President, to rule. And thus she inevitably would do so, and as a result Ruth would retire in glory, as Hillary selected her replacement.

But -- she was wrong. Hillary was not the "chosen one"; she, like RBG, was a vain and arrogant woman.

And she lost -- to a literal scripted TV show host with a lot of money.

The white-hot hatred that flowed through Hillary and the Left subsequent to 2016 has driven both insane ever since. Unable to accept that their strategy was one of hubris, arrogance and vanity they tried to claim a nominee to the bench was a rapist, spinning tales of phantasm drenched in beer.

They claimed impeachable offense in "collusion" with foreign powers that was disproved.

They claimed an "insurance policy" that was nothing less than open sedition within the government itself.

None of this caught fire outside of the ranks of the crazy.

But none of it was prosecuted either, even though all of it involved myriad federal and state crimes carrying decades of prison time.

So then they tried "white cops love to shoot black men for sport" as a pretext to loot, riot and commit arson writ large.

But that failed too, as even black business owners were looted and burned -- creating Trump voters out of what were previously 100% safe Democrat supporters. Would you vote for someone who stands with the "fine people" who just burned your small business to the ground?

What appeared to be an "in the bag" win for a stand-in geriatric, sad old man with decades of government experience and not a single positive policy feather in his cap to show for it, backed by a woman with blind ambition greater than Palpatine who threw people in prison for marijuana while smoking a joint, has a family history that includes actual slave ownership and has falsely claimed to be black when she is not appears to have bled off a sold 5+ point advantage to effective parity -- enough to, quite-possibly, lead them to lose in an election to be decided less than two months hence.

Oops.

The immutable passage of time finally caught up with the schemers, as did the Judicial Calendar. With a looming start to the Supreme Court fall session, set by law and immutable, and the reality of terminal cancer, the Left's last, best hope fell apart and Ruth got the inevitable last ride we all take. I'm sure she doesn't actually believe in Hell and she had better hope it's not real, for otherwise she is now there, accused, tried, convicted and sentenced for the death of tens of millions of aborted children, never mind her pivotal role in the ongoing destruction of Federalism generally.

Just as arrogant Harry Reid thought he could game the filibuster to his advantage and it blew up in the Left's face after he retired, so now has Ginsburg's arrogance blown to bits their plan to set fire to the little that remains of the Constitution. Rather than have a Black Democrat President appoint her successor she held out for Emperor Palpatine -- and when that failed to materialize all she had left was the hope of surviving long enough for Trump to lose and Snoke to arise.

As is a fitting end to the story of the vain, arrogant woman who thought she could bend the universe to her will, she lost the bet.

Even better, Snoke appears to be on the verge of getting his own light saber in the belly, right where it belongs.

Trump will make his pick. He's very likely to choose Amy Barrett, who is immune from charges that she's a rapist. It's not that there aren't plenty of qualified male jurists -- there are. It's that disarming the Reeeeeing Karen false mass-rape charge, which you know awaits any male jurist, wins in this political season. So be it; Amy is a perfectly-qualified individual and if the Left can use sex as a weapon as they have with Kavanaugh, countless others and now Birx who has done so for months, leading with her vagina including as recently as the other day right here in Knoxville rather than resorting to analysis and reason, Trump has every right to slather the same BBQ Sauce on them just before he slaps them on the coals for three minutes a side.

Barrett is also Catholic, and means it, which of course drives The Left insane all on its own. And with Reid having destroyed their only ability to stop it on purpose, the number of glasses of Single Malt scotch that thinking persons should tip in response will be amazing.

The lessons are clear but politicians never seem to learn them: Those who believe they "the chosen one", no matter the pretext, are almost always wrong. Those who try to game the calendar frequently get bit by Old Brother Grim before their gambit can pay off.

Those who patronize and put forward scams, frauds and violence, whether it be in #Covid19 as we've seen here in Tennessee in the last few days, in Kansas and elsewhere, smug that they can evade responsibility usually get caught, and ruinously so. Their smug snickers of success prove short-lived.

And those who believed that RBG would stick around long enough to pronounce President Harris the next POTUS, after Joe is unable (or wisely unwilling) to assume office get to face a USSC that, like it or not, they can't do a damn thing about.
