    Default Mormon revelation changes again

I believe it is just one step closer to LDS allowing gay marriage, really. They initially had the revelation about not allowing children from gay marriages to be baptized until age 18. I guess God changed His mind now.

Instead, the changes reflect the continuing revelation that has been a part of the modern Church since the Restoration.
Now, a reversal of "revelation" changes homosexuality from a sin to a "serious transgression". Slight wording changes as the years go by.

Instead, the immoral conduct in heterosexual or homosexual relationships will be treated in the same way.
The wording is such that homosexuality could be fine as the relationship will be monogamous. Expect zero clarification on this...as it is all legalese. Meanwhile, the LDS still say sodomy is a "serious transgression". Boiling the frog comes to mind here. I used to think it would be 15 years before they allow gay marriage in the temples. Now, I think they are heading that direction in less than 5 years.

Then there's the Don't Ask Don't Tell policy now: https://edition.cnn.com/2019/04/05/u...licy-reversal/

LDS has always been a false belief system anyways. No surprise here.
"The one who says he stays in Him is indebted to walk, even as He walked." 1Jn 2:6

Without Torah, His walk is impossible - it's Rome's walk without Torah.
