Default As it was in the "days of Noah" and "days of Lot"...

Ironic that satanic sodomites have usurped and perverted God's rainbow symbol.

Christ said the end of the age would be as in the "days of Noah" and "days of Lot."

In the "days of Noah" society had race-mixed and degenerated past the point of no return. God destroyed all but a remnant via a flood. God gave Noah a rainbow as a sign promising that God would never again destroy by water.

In the "days of Lot" Sodom's perverted society had degenerated past the point of no return. God destroyed all but a remnant via fire from heaven.

The Bible says the evil end of the age is destroyed by fire. So it is quite ironic that sodomites have now usurped and perverted Gods rainbow sign.

The watery green/blue/purple colors of the rainbow symbolize the "days of Noah"...
the fiery yellow/orange/red colors symbolize the "days of Lot."

Many know Matthew 24:36 about not knowing the day and hour... but how many know the next verse... "as it was in the days of Noah so shall it be at the coming of the Son of Man." Matthew 24:37.

Look at the parallel in Luke 17 where it talks about the days of Noah and the days of Lot. Notice the related verses say the coming of Christ will be like the destruction of Sodom. In other words, fire from heaven... just like the fire from heaven against Gog/Magog in Ezekiel 38/39 & Rev 20:9.

In Luke 17:26-30, Jesus compares the evil end of the age to both the "days of Noah" and "days of Lot." In both of those Biblical examples, evildoers had passed the point of no return and God intervened.

But on the day when Lot went out from Sodom, fire and sulfur
rained from heaven and destroyed them all.

So will it be on the day when the Son of Man is revealed.

    Luke 17:29-30

For as the lightning flashes and lights up the sky from one side
to the other, so will the Son of Man be in his day.

    Luke 17:24:

kingx, good thoughts and well researched scriptures that all should read and remember, and we are living in the days of Noah, and we are rapidly swirling in circle as the toilet flushed, all we have to do now is wait and I do not think we will have much longer to wait...as one says a lot here on the board "prep and pray"

Not knowing the day or the hour, say's nothing about the year, or the signs of the times....the signs have basically been met, short of temple stuff and such. Isreal becoming a nation in 1948 set a certain Prophetic clock ticking......., that generation would be alive to see the Second Coming of Christ.

A Biblical generation is considered to be either seventy or eighty years. 2018 to 2028 becomes the window. It seems quite plausible given the move toward world government, new digital currency, chipping everything, attack on Christianity and the rise of Islam and Socialism (atheism). It's all lining up with 2020 coming up fast with no rudder to turn off this course...... 2020 is perfect sight, perfect hindsight. My God is one funny guy.

I suggest one take that date to the bank and beat the rush. Things are going to go south, mathmatically, no later than 2021, to give time for the Great Tribulation to run it's course. I do believe 2020 will make things perfectly clear.

Come Lord Jesus, give us all the strength and the wisdom to manage whatever comes our way, knowing there is great strength thru unity, thru good comms. Prepare wisely.
Educate others to grow our base of informed citizens, it's tyranny. Spread the Gospel.

Prepare wisely individually. An army runs on it's stomach.

Network with those who prepare wisely and take advantage of the strength in numbers and the economy of scale.

Then, when the curtains come down and the truth is evident to an informed citizenry, we unite and fight the new world order.

37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
    Matthew 24:37,38
Eating and drinking?! Especially the drinking part! I have sinned!!! I should be stoned!!!!! But, but, but, I never committed the evil of getting married. Maybe you'll be satisfied with only dishing out a half stoning? Please? Pretty please??? Show some mercy.

The meaning: Those evildoers were so oblivious to their sinful rebellion... they kept right on "eating and drinking."

In other words... they hadn't a clue that anything was wrong... and went on their merry way thinking their evil world order would never end... until their bitter end.

The parallel is in Luke 17... which refers to the "days of Noah"... and also the "days of Lot" where the evildoers continued to buy, sell, build and plant crops until God's fire from heaven destroyed them.

That reminds me of a scene in an old nuclear war movie... I forget the name of the movie.

A farmer in the midwest knows the nukes are about to fly... and is rushing around to get his family and last minute supplies into their underground shelter.

Although his wife also knows what's happening and the time is urgent... she continues to carefully make up the bed in the farmhouse instead of hunkering down in the underground shelter. In other words, she was in denial that her world was about to end forever.

What those Bible verses are telling us... the evildoers in Noah's and Lot's time were not only in denial that God's judgment was hovering over them... they were so clueless they had no reason to even entertain the thought. That's why their society... like ours... was past the point of no return... they were unable to discern good from evil and had no clue they were living in sinful rebellion that would soon bring down God's judgment.

Sinful rebellion goes much deeper than reckless immorality.

    Therein lies the greatest deception.

Thise who marry the state, pray to the state, accept benefits from the table of state, pay into the state’s destructive resource pool, register their God-given children with state, in any wise live by state-issued license (licentiousness)
rather than by the raw tenets of God-given rights (righteousness).....are not walking in obedience to Father.

Be careful what you pray/wish for.

In spite of King Josiah's attempt to make righteous reforms, the time during and after Josiah, Israelites lived in sinful rebellion. Israelites had become so evil and perverted, sodomites were allowed in Solomon's temple. God's answer to that was to send Babylon to destroy both Jerusalem and the temple.

For the people of Judah have done evil in My sight,
declares the LORD. They have set up their abominations
in the house that bears My Name, and so have defiled it.

    Jeremiah 7:30

Daniel, Matthew 24 and Mark 13 refer to what is called, the "abomination that makes desolate."

Matthew 24 and Mark 13 are parallels to Luke 17.

Ironically, although Luke 17, Matthew 24 and Mark 13 are all three parallels of the same prophecy... only Matthew 24 and Mark 13 refer to the "abomination that makes desolate"... Luke 17 is the only one of the three that refers to the "days of Lot."

So by inference... the "days of Lot" = the "abomination that makes desolate" !!

It's interesting what God has hidden in plain sight for those who are wise to seek it out.

It is the glory of God to conceal a matter
and the glory of kings to search it out.

    Proverbs 25:2

Read Luke 17:28-33... verses that reference the "days of Lot" happening at Christ's second coming.

The "days of Lot" reference is in Luke 17 but not in the Matthew 24 or Mark 13 parallels.

Note the very next verse after the first "days of Lot" verses [Luke 17:28-29] and after the reference of the "days of Lot" to the return of Christ [Luke 17:30]... the next verse is Luke 17:31... which matches the same verses in Matthew 24:17 and Mark 13:15... [THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT !!] Then Luke 17:32 verifies Christ is still talking about the "days of Lot" analogy.

Luke 17 refers to the "days of Lot" but not the "abomination that makes desolate"... while Matthew 24 and Mark 13 refer to the "abomination that makes desolate" [see the verses that proceed Matthew 24:17 and Mark 13:15]... but not the "days of Lot."

    DO YOU SEE IT ??!!

God has substituted the "days of Lot" in Luke 17 to identify the "abomination that makes desolate" in Matthew 24 and Mark 13 !!

Wow even the differences in the gospels are important pieces of the puzzle !!!

In the story of Lot in Sodom - Genesis 19 - it's interesting how the sodomites accused Lot of 'judging them'... sound familiar ?! [Genesis 19:9.]

The two angels [God's two witnesses required under God's law for final judgment and punishment] repeatedly tried to get Lot to hurry and get out of Sodom before it was totally destroyed. When Lot hesitated, the angels grasped the hands of Lot and his family and led them out of Sodom. Then the angels told them to flee for their lives and don't look back, flee far away from the area, flee to the mountains. THIS should remind us of the urgency to flee the abomination that makes desolate in both Matthew 24:15-18 and Mark 13:14-16. The partial parallel in Luke 17:31-32 also tells us the urgency to flee and to remember Lot's wife !!
