Epstein’s Friendship With Bill Clinton Invoked, Former Model Who Reportedly Fled His Home Says

A member of Jeffrey Epstein’s entourage tried to stop a model from fleeing his home by bringing up the financier’s friendship with former President Bill Clinton, the New York Post reported Sunday.
Former Italian model Elisabetta Tai said in an interview with The Post she secured a meeting at Epstein’s Manhattan mansion in 2004 to meet who she understood to be “in charge of Victoria’s Secret” and could get her in the outfitter’s catalog.
Epstein’s only known client is Leslie Wexner, the founder of Victoria’s Secret’s parent company, Ohio-based L Brands.
During the meeting, as Tai was talking about her prior modeling experience in Italy, Epstein abruptly removed his clothes, laid down naked on a massage table set up near his desk and told her to approach, Tai said.
Tai, who was 21-years-old at the time, said Epstein handed her a vibrator when she arrived at the massage table.
“I froze,” Tai told The Post. “I didn’t know what to do.”
Tai said she took the vibrator from Epstein, “threw it at his head,” then fled from the room as fast as she could.
Tai said she was accosted on her way out of Epstein’s mansion by a woman with short black hair who she told The Post resembled Epstein’s alleged madam Ghislaine Maxwell.
“She told me that I couldn’t just leave,” Tai said. “She said that this man is important, that he is a friend of President Clinton.”

The arrest last week of wealthy financier and sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein has resonated in Israel because of his mysterious—but well-known—ties to former Prime Minister Ehud Barak, who announced a new bid for office last week, and whose name appeared in Epstein’s infamous black book of prominent guests.
The news could not have come at a better time for current Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is facing a tough reelection campaign after failing to form a government following elections in April, throwing the country into an unprecedented second consecutive electoral campaign.
Netanyahu, who has been in office for 10 years, is expected to be indicted on three counts of corruption after a hearing scheduled for October 7, less than three weeks after the September 17 vote. And he has faced an uphill struggle making accusations against his rivals stick. In June, Netanyahu’s attempts to taint hardline former defense minister Avigdor Lieberman as a “left-winger” provoked laughter from reporters.
So he wasted no time after Epstein’s arrest tweeting a published article about Barak’s alleged financial ties to Epstein, adding ominously, “and the media is silent.”
Two days later, Netanyahu tweeted a video juxtaposing Epstein’s mug shot with a 2016 photograph of Barak exiting Epstein’s Manhattan townhouse. This time, the caption was “What else did the sex offender give Ehud Barak?
The answer, if you ask Barak, who served as prime minister from 1999 to 2001, is an unalloyed “nothing.”
In an exclusive interview, Barak told The Daily Beast his dealings with Epstein were entirely on the level.
“The man who introduced me to Epstein about 17 years ago was Shimon Peres,” Barak said, uncertain if the event took place in New York or Washington, but recalling it was at an event where “there were many famous and important people, including, if I recall, both Clintons and hundreds of others.”

Former President Bill Clinton’s connection to since-convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein was established through British heiress and longtime Epstein pal Ghislaine Maxwell, who also became a friend of former first daughter Chelsea, according to a new report Sunday.
Clinton’s family grew close with Maxwell after Clinton left office in early 2001, Politico reported.
“The Clintons were relatively intimate with her,” a friend of Maxwell’s told the Web site. A person familiar with the relationship also described Maxwell as “the contact between Epstein and Clinton.”
“She ended up being close to the family because she and Chelsea ended up becoming close,” the source added.
Maxwell, the daughter of late publishing tycoon Robert Maxwell, vacationed on a yacht with Chelsea in 2009 and attended her wedding to Marc Mezvinsky the following year, Politico said.
Maxwell was also associated with the Clinton Global Initiative as recently as 2013, when it promoted a “commitment to action” by a group that included Maxwell’s environmental nonprofit, the TerrarMar Project, which she shuttered in the wake of Epstein’s arrest earlier this month.
