Durham's probe into possible FBI misconduct is now criminal probe, sources say-Fox News

The investigation's new status means Durham can subpoena witnesses, file charges, and impanel fact-finding grand juries.


Fox News reported on Tuesday that Durham's probe had expanded significantly based on new evidence uncovered during a recent trip to Rome with Attorney General Bill Barr.


Barr reportedly told embassy officials in Italy that he "needed a conference room to meet high-level Italian security agents where he could be sure no one was listening in."

John Durham is a highly respected prosecutor with a Stellar reputation among both Republicans and Democrats. He was a colleague of Robert Mueller, who even came out in defense of Mueller during his Russia probe. The left is out in full force "Russian troll" style to discredit it as some sort of "payback". But that conspiracy theory falls apart quickly because Durham started this investigation months ago. Long before the whistle-blower and the latest attempt to impeach Trump. Democrats didn't even mention it until last night when it was changed to a criminal investigation. Meaning by law, in order to change it, Durham had to have evidence of crimes. Now he can convene grand jury's, indict and charge people with crimes, and find out who did what and hold them accountable. What have Dems repeated over and over? "Nobody is above the law".
