Default Scientists Discover HIV-Like "Mutation" Which Makes Coronavirus Extremely Infectious

Scientists Discover HIV-Like "Mutation" Which Makes Coronavirus Extremely Infectious

    by Tyler Durden

    Wed, 02/26/2020 - 19:45

While mainstream scientists continue to perform mental gymnastics to insist that the new coronavirus wasn't man-made, new research from scientists in China and Europe reveal that the disease happens to have an 'HIV-like mutation' which allows it to bind with human cells up to 1,000 times stronger than the Sars virus, according to SCMP.

Recall that at the end of January, a team of Indian scientists wrote in a now-retracted, scandalous paper claiming that the coronavirus may have been genetically engineered to incorporate parts of the HIV genome, writing "This uncanny similarity of novel inserts in the 2019- nCoV spike protein to HIV-1 gp120 and Gag is unlikely to be fortuitous in nature," meaning - it was unlikely to have occurred naturally.
Fast forward to new research by a team from Nankai University, which writes that COV-19 has an 'HIV-like mutation' that allows it to quickly enter the human body by binding with a receptor called ACE2 on a cell membrane.

Other highly contagious viruses, including HIV and Ebola, target an enzyme called furin, which works as a protein activator in the human body. Many proteins are inactive or dormant when they are produced and have to be “cut” at specific points to activate their various functions.
When looking at the genome sequence of the new coronavirus, Professor Ruan Jishou and his team at Nankai University in Tianjin found a section of mutated genes that did not exist in Sars, but were similar to those found in HIV and Ebola. -SCMP
"This finding suggests that 2019-nCoV [the new coronavirus] may be significantly different from the Sars coronavirus in the infection pathway," reads the paper published this month on Chinaxiv.org - a platform used by the Chinese Academy of Sciences which releases research papers prior to peer-review.
"This virus may use the packing mechanisms of other viruses such as HIV," they added.
For those confused, what the latest scientific paper claims is that whereas the Coronavirus may indeed contain a specific HIV-like feature that makes it extremely infectious, that was the result of a rather bizarre "mutation." However, since the scientists did not make the scandalous claim that Chinese scientists had created an airborne version of HIV, but instead blamed a mutation, they will likely not be forced to retract it, even if it the odds of such a "random" mutation taking place naturally are extremely small.
As a reminder, the running narrative is that the new coronavirus lie dormant in bats somewhere between 20 and 70 years, then 'crossed over' to humans through and unknown species - possibly a Pangolin - before it emerged at a Wuhan, China meat market roughly 900 feet from a level-4 bioweapons lab.
And what were they researching at said lab? Among other things - why Ebola and HIV can lie dormant in bats without causing diseases.
According to the new study, the 'mutation' can generate a structure known as a cleavage site in the new coronavirus' spike protein, SCMP reports. "Compared to the Sars’ way of entry, this binding method is “100 to 1,000 times” as efficient, according to the study."
The virus uses the outreaching spike protein to hook on to the host cell, but normally this protein is inactive. The cleavage site structure’s job is to cheat the human furin protein, so it will cut and activate the spike protein and cause a “direct fusion” of the viral and cellular membranes. -SCMP
(a recent paper published by Dr. Zhou Peng of the Wuhan Institute of Virology, meanwhile, is "Immunogenicity of the spike glycoprotein of Bat SARS-like coronavirus.")

According to the report, a follow-up study from a Huazhong University of Science and Technology in Wuhn confirmed Nankai University's findings.
The mutation could not be found in Sars, Mers or Bat-CoVRaTG13, a bat coronavirus that was considered the original source of the new coronavirus with 96 per cent similarity in genes, it said.

This could be “the reason why SARS-CoV-2 is more infectious than other coronaviruses”, Li wrote in a paper released on Chinarxiv on Sunday.

Meanwhile, a study by French scientist Etienne Decroly at Aix-Marseille University, which was published in the scientific journal Antiviral Research on February 10, also found a “furin-like cleavage site” that is absent in similar coronaviruses.
Chinese scientists speculate that drugs targeting the fuirn enzyme could potentially hinder the virus' replication inside the human body. Drugs up for consideration include "a series of HIV-1 therapeutic drugs such as Indinavir, Tenofovir Alafenamide, Tenofovir Disoproxil and Dolutegravir and hepatitis C therapeutic drugs including Boceprevir and Telaprevir," according to Li's study.
The conclusion is in line with several reports from doctors who self-administered HIV drugs after testing positive for coronavirus, however there have been no clinical tests to confirm the theory.
    All perfectly "natural."

World-famous Celebrity makes shocking statement about the Flu

    And the Coronavirus

After a prominent celebrity went public with the following statement on national television, I tried to contact him for a follow-up. No luck so far. He does seem to urge people to take the flu shot, but his other remarks are potentially explosive, if you fill in a few blanks and glean the implications. Here is his statement:

“I want you to understand something that shocked me when I saw it. I spoke with Dr. Fauci on this and I was really amazed, and I think most people are amazed to hear it. The [ordinary] flu in our country kills from 25,000 people to 69,000 people a year. That was shocking to me. So far, if you look at what we [in the US] have with the 15 people [diagnosed with the coronavirus] and they’re recovering, one is pretty sick, but hopefully we’ll [he’ll] recover. But the others are in great shape. But think of that. 25,000 to 69,000 [ordinary flu deaths annually]. Over the last 10 years, we’ve lost 360,000. These are people that have died from the flu, from what we call the flu…”

He seems to be pointing a big fat accusatory finger at US public health agencies, like the CDC, as he says, Look, all these deaths from ordinary flu every single year, like clockwork, and you don’t declare THAT an epidemic or an emergency, so why are you issuing stern warnings when 15 people in the US have been diagnosed with the coronavirus; imagine the reaction if we had 35,000 deaths year after year from the coronavirus in the US; you would go nuts; what’s wrong with you people?
You can see why I wanted to follow up with him. All sorts of issues to explore and discuss.

Of course, as I’ve shown in these pages many times, he’s dead wrong about how many people can be confirmed as annual flu deaths in the US. That number is really miniscule. Nevertheless, his point stands: if national public health agencies CLAIM that 35,000 people a year die of ordinary flu, why don’t they call that an epidemic? And why do they call 15 “coronavirus cases” in the US an emergency?

I wanted to sort all this out with him, but it looks like I won’t be able to.

His name is Donald Trump, and he made his comments Wednesday night during his address to the nation.

The press made very little mention of this, except to disparage him for daring to compare ordinary pedestrian flu to the white-hot coronavirus situation. What is ordinary about the claim that 360,000 Americans per decade die of the flu? That’s a puzzle, isn’t it? I just called my doctor. He told me to take two Thorazine, go to bed, and think about it again in the morning.

    Coronavirus: the contagion of propaganda

    Mar2by Jon Rappoport

(To join our email list, click here.)

“The virus is coming, the virus is coming.”

As my readers know, I’ve been presenting evidence that this so-called viral epidemic is unproven. I’ve detailed the fraud from a number of angles (archive here).
Here I want to comment on the true contagion of propaganda.

The press is piling on, as it always does. A story, true or false—it doesn’t matter—describes how basic items are disappearing from store shelves in a town like there’s no tomorrow.
The STORY causes fear. So more products disappear from store shelves in more places. Now a NEW story with photos of empty shelves takes center stage. More fear. More panic buying. And so forth and so on. The build-out of propaganda.

The psychological equation is: if there is fear, then the virus must be dangerous. But this is actually like saying: if a man walking on a street at night believes a mugger is about to parachute out of the sky, the sky-mugger must be real.

The story the press should be featuring is: “our coverage of so-called panic is creating panic.” RUN THAT PIECE.

“Today in Manhattan, six greed-head editors of major newspapers and television news outlets met to discuss how their coverage is causing more and more fear. They agreed they were collaborating to incur a desired reaction…”

“Hey, guess what?” five hundred thousand readers and viewers of mainstream news say immediately. “THEY’RE making us afraid.” If only that could happen, we’d be living in a different world.

The press is also cross-cutting stories. This technique works well. In the middle of a piece about empty store shelves, we’re suddenly treated to a statement from some public health official, who says, “Epidemic cases are coming to America. We can’t stop them.” Now you have two themes; each one gives added strength to the other. But wait. There’s more. In the SAME STORY, we read or hear about a man in Montana or Arizona who has been identified as a carrier of the virus. He’s being sequestered in a hospital. It’s a triple play. Three streams of nonsense pouring into one another.

We’re not nearly finished yet, because…social media. Someone takes the above story and flashes it on Twitter. Comments stretch out. A Twitter reader with a YouTube account sits down and turns out a quick video and posts it. His twist is: this is the big one; doomsday; it’s a planned attack using the coronavirus.

Comments below the video feature a brawl about whether the virus was made in a lab, leaked out of the lab, or was designed as a weapon. And if a weapon, who did it? The Americans? The Chinese?

YouTube demonetizes the video. This gives rise to several articles in the “alternative press.”

Now, a scuzzy outlet uses the demonetized video to make a point: people shouldn’t fly off the handle with conspiracy theories; instead they should listen to the medical authorities talking sense about the virus.

Of course, the medical authorities are blowing out tons of their own version of fear porn. They’re the propaganda experts. They use “science” to make their claims.

There are what, 20 or 30 supposed cases of the supposed coronavirus in America, out of a population of 300 hundred million? As I’ve detailed, the diagnostic tests, on which “new cases” are based, are worthless. But no matter. Join the Club of Fear. Your friends are in the Club. You don’t want to feel left out, do you?

Soon, I expect this kind of story: “Today, in Rigatoni, Delaware, a man in a supermarket unleashed a volley of profanities at the store manager, because the shelves were fully stocked…”

“Authorities transported the man to a local hospital, where he was interviewed briefly by a resident psychiatrist, who then gave a statement to the press: “I believe Mr. (name withheld) was correct. The store manager gave the wrong impression to shoppers. The stocked shelves could impart the message that we are in a condition of social normalcy, which is far from true. The virus is a very serious and immediate problem. I have contacted the town council. I recommend products should be removed from the supermarket shelves…”

    TWEET THAT.

Let’s get back to reality. Oh, sorry, we can’t. Because in more theater of the absurd, Mike Bloomberg, running for the presidency, just spent a million bucks (or more) for a TV ad, in which he’s posing as the president in an Oval Office-like setting, assuring the nation he would/will guide us through the coronavirus crisis.

And more politics: Part of the press fear porn is critically directed at Trump, who addressed the country with the message that the government “is doing great” at handling the virus situation.
The ladder, descending from the top, looks something like this:

    * Pharma plus elite Globalists are on the lookout for: a new excuse to exert more control over populations, and new billions in drug and vaccine sales.
    * In Wuhan, China, where the poisonous air pollution is creating serious illness, researchers decide a new outbreak has occurred—and it must be a virus. These professionals—local Chinese, World Health Organization and CDC—claim to find the new coronavirus in five minutes. (They never adequately confirm this.)
    * The World Health Organization and CDC feed the press ominous tales about the new virus, the “outbreak,” and five minutes later, “the epidemic.”
    * The Chinese government locks down several giant cities.
    * The epidemic story explodes in the press.
    * The “virus is spreading.” “Containment will be difficult.”
    * “Containment isn’t working.”
    * “New cases in other countries.”
    * “It’s coming to your country.”
    * Fear porn follows.
    * Panic buying in stores.
    * People think, “If shoppers are buying up food and water like the world is ending, I better buy food and water, too, before they’re all gone.”

    Lovely, isn’t it?

An artificial crisis. The propaganda germ.

My shelves and closets and rooms at home are filled with essentials. They’re piled so high and packed so tight, I can barely move. I’m building a machine-gun nest on my front lawn, and a moat stocked with alligators. My neighbor is watching. He sees what I’m doing, so he’s installing rocket launchers in his yard…

Damn! Will the Zombie Virus Apocalypse never come?

I write this piece for those who ordinarily have their heads on straight, when it comes to understanding the basics of HEALTH—but now, because of the “coronavirus epidemic,” are drifting back into the medical model: FIXATION ON GERMS.

A correct reading of suppressed medical history reveals that the hypothesis of “one disease, one germ” is a modern con, moving down a blind alley at midnight. And when you add “one vaccine” to the formula, you get an even greater degree of lunacy.

But you also get a trillion-dollar commercial success.

I don’t care how many contemporary molecular biologists are working in labs, amplifying invisible slivers of who knows what molecules into view, and calling them viruses; it’s a con. This also applies to biowar biologists trying to create super-germs. They’re all working in the dark vis-à-vis the natural processes of the body, which are far more complex and far more protective of health than these scientists know—unless the body is interfered with by direct poisons or gross mechanical destruction.
The history of human health shows that upgrades in public sanitation, hygiene, and improved nutrition have done more for people than all the “germ-fighting” pharmaceutical interventions ever invented laid end to end.

But THAT is not a trillion-dollar commercial success.

Even when tissue samples are taken from the body, properly separated through centrifuge, and then observed under an electron microscope, by the most competent and honest researchers, you still get dead pictures of dead particles. As researcher Karma Singh has pointed out, you don’t know, from those pictures, what such particles do or don’t do when they’re alive and integrated in the body. You can’t infer that they cause disease. The whole operation of the Virus Hunters is one brassy late-night infomercial tap dancing in the long, long history of humans on this planet.

You want germs? No one knows how many there are. From various estimates, we could be talking about thousands of trillions to the thousandth power. Maybe more. If an infinitesimal fraction of the critters caused serious disease, we’d not only all be dead, we’d be dead on dead on dead.

To begin to understand how overblown all these modern epidemic duds are, let’s go to the animals. Farm animals. Pigs. A headline blares: A MILLION PIGS SLAUGHTERED. African Swine Fever Virus was discovered, and in order to stop the contagion, death was rained down on the pigs. On the farm. On the giant factory farm. So a question arises:
Do you seriously think humans sat down next to each of the million pigs and tested him/her for the Virus? Drew a blood or tissue sample?

Twenty pigs tested positive and they killed the rest as matter of course. They always do.

But wait. What are the conditions on this massive million-pig factory farm? Let’s see. Pigs living in their own urine and feces, crowded next to one another, nose to butt, sprayed with toxic chemicals, eating chemical-laced feed—under high stress, never living the kind of existence they were designed for. Think they’re going to get sick? Think some kind of minimally reliable test might find a virus or two living and replicating in their bodies? Do you seriously think those viruses matter, contrasted against the OBVIOUS immunosuppressive ENVIRONMENT?

As the number one germ hunter of all time, Louis Pasteur, was reported to have confessed on his deathbed: it’s not the germ, it’s the terrain—meaning, it’s the body and its strength and vitality and resiliency—THAT should be the real focus of the healing profession. Building up health.

One problem. There’s no money in it.

    Oops.

A final note for now: When I’m told that published studies reveal the coronavirus is actually an engineered bioweapon, from a lab, I repeat the assertion I’ve been making in this ongoing series of articles:

The researchers are using indirect methods of virus detection (PCR, antibody tests), and as a result, they have no idea what they’re discovering. It could be fragments of random DNA or RNA, cellular debris, germs that live quite comfortably in the body and never cause harm—and THEN, when the researchers assemble the genetic sequences of these unknown tiny objects and publish them; SO WHAT? And when other people come along and read these sequences and claim there are peculiarities which suggest bio-engineering has taken place, the whole mess of gibberish escalates to a higher level of absurdity. Yes, it has always been the case that biowar scientists in labs are maniacs fiddling and diddling with mixtures of chemicals and germs; and yes, they should all be stopped; but to say that NOW, these loons have precisely located the new coronavirus and are precisely altering it to produce an unstoppable force—that’s really quite a fantastical leap, and it’s a leap that leads into believing, all over again, that “one germ, one disease” is the pattern of the human body. The body deserves more credit than that.
Plato once said, “Wise men speak because they have something to say. Fools, because they have to say something.”

"Fere libenter homines id quod volunt credunt." "Men willingly believe what they wish to believe."

Default Within 30 Days, The Coronavirus Outbreak Will Likely Become A Pandemic

Within 30 Days, The Coronavirus Outbreak Will Likely Become A Pandemic

    Mac Slavo
    March 2nd, 2020

Department of Defense experts are expecting the coronavirus to reach pandemic levels in 30 days. With cases rising in the United States quickly, it will likely reach pandemic designation this month.

A document from the Department of Defense showed that officials are preparing for the possibility that COVID-19 may have a significant global impact, as President Donald Trump assured the public his administration was properly handling the new coronavirus, by putting ice president Mike Pence in charge of handling the outbreak.

COVID-19 has touched every inhabitable continent, infecting more than 82,000 people worldwide since it was first identified last December, including potentially 65 people in the United States. Of the cases in the U.S., the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) confirmed two were of unknown origin, indicating the possibility of community spread. Then on Saturday, a woman in Washington state became the first death in America.

As COVID-19 continues to spread worldwide, the risk to DoD members deployed throughout the world increases, and one service member has already tested positive. United States Forces Korea (USFK) confirmed Tuesday that a 23-year-old soldier stationed at Camp Carroll, located in Waegwan, South Korea, was the first service member known to have the virus and his wife tested positive on Saturday. –Newsweek

“The DoD is concerned not only the impact COVID-19 has on mission readiness, but the risk to inadvertently spread the virus to the U.S. by returning members who may have been exposed,” a senior Pentagon official told Newsweek. When asked for comment, Jessica R. Maxwell, a DOD spokesperson, said the DoD has “contingency plans in place and are taking steps to educate and safeguard our military and civilian personnel, family members and base communities in preventing a widespread outbreak.” But ultimately, “Commanders of individually affected geographic commands will be and are issuing specific guidance to their forces as their situations may require.”

U.S. Military Prepares For Coronavirus Pandemic

Dr. Nancy Messonnier, the CDC’s director of the Center for the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, said it was inevitable that the coronavirus becomes widespread in the U.S. “It’s not so much a question of if this will happen anymore but rather more a question of exactly when this will happen and how many people in this country will have severe illness,” Messonnier said.
