    Green man gets it!
and he's always quite polite, probably nicer than the crabby ole woman I've been lately
But in my defense, as George Carlin said, "cynics are just disappointed idealists"

But in the end guys, I trust the Lord with all of this craziness and I still contend that Trump is for us. Could he succumb? Yeah, pray for him!

Next time you go out and have the mask on why not try that thin soap film to prevent the fogging up problem I did and its really works well.

I don't understand how I can see with thin soap film on?

Well, when I go to the hairdresser and manicurist this week I will have mask on without sunglasses. I'll just have to suck it up. So that' over 2 hours at the hairdresser covering up the gray and about an hour with manicurist. I'm dreading this because I feel like I'm being forced to drink the Kool-Aid.

But, alas, it's a first world problem. They are starving in Africa from Covid repercussions. Have heard that from 2 sources who have contacts there.

We can't go on with the "cure being worse than the problem"

Europe used to have empires. They were run by emperors.
Then we had kingdoms. They were run by kings.
    Now we have countries...

Another "study" based on some egghead's "model". Kind of like all these "models" of how there would be "millions of deaths" from C-19. Uh-huh.

Not attacking you at all Merovingian, just really fed up with basing all these life-altering decisions on computer "models" which can be skewed to give a preferred output of data. The whole "garbage in, garbage out" saying comes to mind.

If I remember correctly, a quote attributed to Mark Twain goes as such "Lies, damb lies, then there is statistics ".
"Stand your ground. Don't fire unless fired upon, but if they mean to have a war let it begin here." Captain John Parker, to his Minute Men on Lexington Green, April 19 , 1775.

This might not be Mark Twain but "Figures don't lie but liars figure"
Plato once said, “Wise men speak because they have something to say. Fools, because they have to say something

"Fere libenter homines id quod volunt credunt." "Men willingly believe what they wish to believe."
    Julius Caesar

There's no natural calamity that government can't make worse.
