House proposal HR 6666, "The TRACE Act," “To authorize the Secretary of Health and Human Services to award grants to eligible entities to conduct diagnostic testing for COVID–19, and related activities such as contact tracing, through mobile health units and, as necessary, at individuals’ residences, and for other purposes” violates the very idea of a civil society. It is a stunningly illegal power grab beyond what the Constitution offers the Congress, and an outright assault on the people to be deplored by all. And, it is also a massive waste of $100 billion – allocated for 2020 alone.

It's game over boyz and gurlz.

There are numerous times in past history when significant portions of this nation should have been up in flames. One that come immediately to mind is the time a president tossed aside our Constitution and sicked Americans on Americans, a prolonged action the media sorts labeled a "civil war".

It would seem that wee're eager to fault and attack one and other but cower at the thought of confronting those driving us towards each other in anger.

So set back , resting on our laurels, with a refreshing beverage or ten, put some fresh batteries in the remote. Keep a small broom handy to rearrange what little sand is left ... and wait.

Those of us who've had hackles standing for the past decade or so, ground our teeth to nubs, ready to choke the meaningless life out of those who would impose ... well, we are just a minor house keeping chore.

An exercise of mind over matter, they don't mind cuz wee don't matter (Mario Van Peebles / Cpl Stitch Jones, Heartbreak Ridge).

The new normal social distances and MASKS being worn, signs showing one direction of walking through the malls, employees masked up plexiglass at check out places. Yes the new norm is going to take some time to used to. And even when malls have started to open up NOBODY is SHOWING up, no money to buy, no jobs to earn money either. Maybe that 2K a month till this crisis is over IS a good idea, it is going ground in the Senate and even Trump is warming up to the idea if he wants to be re-elected in a few months or not only will the R's lose the WH they will also lose the House. So Trump HAS to get things up and moving even if it means sending people money. LOL

Actually the "man" you referenced is referred to by the pronoun "his". It appears in the expression "...the number of his name..." However, the pronoun can legitimately be translated from the original Greek as "it". Look it up. That being the case we could be looking at a law that is referred to as "it". The number of 'its' name is 666."
