Poll Finds Clear Majority Of Americans Want Military To Help Police Deal With Riots

    Wed, 06/03/2020 - 06:00

Authored by Paul Joseph Watson via Summit News,

The silent majority has spoken. A new Morning Consult Poll finds that 58% of Americans want the military brought in to help police deal with riots, with 30% opposing the measure.

Asked if they supported “Calling in the U.S. military to supplement city police forces,” 33% said they strongly support the measure and 25% somewhat support it for a total support of 58%, while 19% strongly oppose and 11% somewhat oppose the measure.
The survey also found that 71% of Americans supported using the National Guard as a way of addressing “protests and demonstrations” in U.S. cities.

Even a majority of Democrats (63%) support using the National Guard while plurality (48%) of Democrats also support using the U.S. Military, while 43% of Dems oppose the measure.
The poll validates President Trump’s assertion that most right-thinking Americans want to see the violent unrest that has plagued American cities extinguished.

“We are fortunate that Trump isn’t the fascist the media claims him to be,” commented Mike Cernovich.
“Right now the mood of the country would be completely in support total militarization of cities. (Compare Tweets to polling. There’s almost no measure that public would find too extreme).”

They also wanted the government to save us from the scamdemic.
    I don't trust Americans'judgement

Not to sure this poll is a reflection of what Americans want. Trump is being maneuvered into dispersing Troops around the country the same way he was cornered into acting in the scamdemic. The voice of the protesters is being taken over by MSM as racism and riots rather than reforming a broken system.

I am not in that "majority" who wants the military involved. I don't trust the military. Remember those cops who took off their riot gear and marched with the protestors? Remember the footage of an entire line of white cops kneeling in front of black protestors in "solidarity?" (Since when is kneeling before an aggressor considered solidarity?)

Now imagine that as weekend warriors kneel before rioters, or hand out weaponry, or defect en masse.

Best case is the optics of national guardsmen shooting some white, liberal college girl in the face while she tries to put a flower in their hair. Worst case is full scale open warfare in the streets.

We already have an occupying military force in America who are sanctioned to keep order. They're called the "police". Let them do what we pay them for.

One telling paragraph from this little story..
So, if we can’t depend on police to stop mass looting and destruction, exactly what are we paying them for? The Supreme Court has already ruled that they aren’t there to protect us. So what are they there for? Why are we giving these often psychopathic bullies guns and unlimited authority? Under the policing for profit system, their primary purpose is to issue as many traffic citations as possible. Most of them seldom encounter a truly threatening situation. So it’s no wonder they don’t know how to quell disturbances involving thousands of angry, potentially violent people.

No the President needs better advisors. He could have offered the military if needed on day one instead of tweeting stupid stuff out of his rear end..
Biden is hopeless but from what I have seen from Trump his age is showing also..He is the lesser of two evils and the one who may be able to bring this country out of the gutter though so I will have to vote for him.

who says that all of the governor want it to stop
they have options available if they choose to exercise them
many of them did more to stop covid than they are doing to stop the looting

Don't need military. Just let the Americans clean house.
Tell the popo to go back to the barracks, and the mil too.
Give us 24 hours. Then bring the body bags for the refuse.
Europe used to have empires. They were run by emperors.
Then we had kingdoms. They were run by kings.
    Now we have countries...

    In spades.....

And THAT is why we have the police and the military......to PROTECT all enemies, foreign and domestic, from those who WOULD eliminate all threats with extreme prejudice.

Majority of 'Murkins? Mehbe but not revealed in this survey. Majority of respondents? Disregarding facial expressions, perhaps such was understood ....

Did any of the respondents understand just what such entails? Should the military become involved it won't be to "help" anyone.
