I am thinking that they're going to shut it down for 'security concerns' because leftists have threatened it, and that the law-abiding Trump supporters are just going to slink back home and complain about it on the internet.

If they give the order to cancel it before tomorrow, perhaps it will be as you say. However, the closer we get to the time of the rally, the more likely the Trump supporters will stay anyway.
